Explodieren die Umsätze so wie prognostiziert von HK$ 93 auf HK$ 356 dann würden die erwarteten Umsätze von Netalone heute mit einem Verhältnis Marktkapitalisierung zu Umsatz bewertet, das von der üblichen "Behandlung" von Application Service Providern meilenweit entfernt sei. Und das bei den riesen Umsatzzuwächsen, die dem eCommerce in Asien zugetraut würden.

Jonathan Lu von der Société Générale stecke ein Kursziel von HK$ 3,20. Das bedeute ein Kurspotential von 150 %.

Die Experten raten den Titel zum aktuellen Kurs von 0,18 Euro mit der Perspektive auf einen Kursanstieg bis 0,45 Euro (HK$ 3,15) auf Sicht der kommenden 12 Monate zu kaufen.

Netalone.com ist eine Internetbeteiligungsgesellschaft, welche aus der 1960 gegründeten Kam Sing Commercial & Industrial Dev. Limited hervorging. Sie wurde das erste mal 1992   mit einer Ausgabe von 75 Millionen gezeichnet. Unter dem  Namen Cybersonic Technology Limited war die Firma in erster Linie bekannt die Herstellung und Vermarktung von Consumer electronic Produkten und Footwear. Das Footwear Geschäft läuft sehr schleppend, aus diesem Grund wird in diesem Bereich die Produktion usw. drastisch verringert, um den Verlust zu minimieren. Der Consumer electronic Bereich dagegen läuft sehr viel besser. Die gegenwärtige Strategie war es, die hi-tech home entertainment Produkte, insbesondere, das revolutionäre human psycho-acoustic Lautsprecher system und die V-CD und DVD Produkte an den asiatische Markt zu bringen, wenn sich die Wirtschaft im asiatischen Raum besonders in China verbessert.
Nachdem ein gewisser Dr. William Lo die Mehrheit an diesem Untenehmen erworben hat, wurdeam 17. Dezember 1999  beschlossen, die Firma von Cybersonic technology in netalone.com um zu benennen. Seit dem 10.1.2000 heißt die Gesellschaft auch offiziel an der Börse Netalone.com.
Mal abgesehen von den Geschäftsfeldern zu Cybersonic Zeiten, hat sich netalone jetzt drauf spezialisiert, "vertical content e-commerce portals" zu entwickeln, zu betreiben und auch an die Börse zu bringen. Diese Portals sollen sowohl den Business-to-Consumer Bereich als auch den Consumer-to-Consumer, sowie den Business-to-Business Bereich abdecken. Netalone tritt als Geldgeber für Internet start-ups auf und bietet nicht nur Kapital sondern auch noch Management, Einsatz und Technologie Resourcen. Bei der Aktienverteilung sieht es auf den ersten Blick ein wenig seltsam aus, aber ich versuche das mal ordentlich darzustellen.
Am 20. Oktober 1999 hat die Firma, welche zu 63% ein Tochterunternehmen von Universal Appliance ist, weitere 88,5 Mio. neue Aktien plaziert und weitere 333 Mio. umwandelbare bevorzugte Aktien für den Ex-Citibank Geschäftsführer Dr. Lo Wing Yan. Wenn Dr. Lo nun alle seine bevorzugten Aktien in richtige umtauscht, dann wird er der Hauptaktionär mit 48,8% Beteiligung an dem Unternehmen, der Anteil von Universal Appliance sinkt dann auf 39%.
Nach einer Aktienplazierung vom 5.1.2000 existieren nun 398 Mio Aktien und wenn Dr. Lo seine Aktien auch noch eintauscht, dann sind ca 731 Mio Aktien im Umlauf.
Nach meinen neuesten Informationen scheinen diese Zahlen irgendwie nicht recht zu stimmen. Laut netalone.com sollen zur Zeit 539.8 Mio Aktien im Umlauf sein und Dr. Lo hat ,nachdem er bereits 100 Mio. seiner umwandelbaren Aktien in richtige getauscht hat, noch 233.3 Mio übrig. Das bringt insgesamt 773.1 Mio Aktien.
Aus den sich zur Zeit im Umlauf befindenen Aktien ergibt sich bei einem aktuellen Kurs von 0.17 Euro oder 1.220 HK$ eine Marktkapitalisierung von ca. 91 Mio Euro.


Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt gibt es folgende Beteiligungen und joint ventures:
Netalone.com und I.T. haben  im März 2000 eine Seite namens www.izzue.com ins Netz gebracht, es soll sich hierbei um ein Mode & Lifestyle Portal handeln, das speziell auf junge Leute ausgerichtet ist. Somit bietet netalone, als Internetfirma, I.T. , einem Mode Verkäufer eine e-commerce Basis für die Zukunft. Auf der Seite gibt es  die neusten News aus der Stadt, die neusten Modetrends, Spiele, Umfragen und natürlich das Virtuelle Mode Kaufhaus. An Autofreeways.com  ist Netalone mit 15% beteiligt. Es handelt sich hier um einen Autoverkaufsmarkt im Internet, zusätzlich ist noch ein Netz von Werkstätten, Zulieferen usw. angeschlossen, so dass man bequem vom Computer aus alles rund ums Auto machen kann. Es gibt Neuwagen sowie gebrauchte, Versicherungen, Auktionen, Autovermietung und so weiter und so weiter. Laut Dr. Lo soll dies die erfolgreichste und ergiebigste Seite in Hongkong werden. >>Pressemeldung<<
Zusammen mit Pico Far East Holding und TSCentral Inc. wird ein "tradeshow internet portal" entwickelt. Was das genau sein soll hab ich nicht so recht verstanden, aber ich probiers trotzdem mal:  Das Portal soll ein one-stop shopping (?) von tradeshows anbieten, dann noch Messe und Austellungs bezogene Services. Wie auch immer, hat irgendwas mit der Messe und Aussteller Industrie zu tun. Es soll sich um ein B2B joint venture handeln. Im Zusammenhang mit dieser Kooperation wird von netalone eine neue Gesellschaft gegründet, die TSCAsia.com heissen soll. An dieser neuen Firma ist netalone dann mit 60 % beteiligt, während TSCentral  Asia Ltd. (welche übrigens zu 60% zu Pico und zu 40% zu TSCentral Inc. gehört) die übrigen 40% hält. Diese neue Gesellschaft soll ähnlich wie TSCentrals Seite in den USA plaziert werden mit hauptsächlich auf den Asiatischen Markt abgestimmten Inhalten. Zu 8,1 % ist Netalone an POPstar Communications beteiligt, Dr. Lo sitzt hier im Vorstand. POPstar Communications baut ein global public network welche aus Carriern und ISP-Partnern weltweit besteht. Es geht darum die selbst entwickelte unified messaging (UM) technology über dieses Netzwerk einzuführen und weiter zu entwickeln. UM ist eine Technologie mit der man  Sprache, Video, Text usw, irgendwie über das Internet miteinnader Verknüpfen kann. Genaues weiß ich da auch nicht. Scheint wohl irgendwie sowas ähnliches zu sein wie J-Fax. Aber zumindest glaube ich, dass es sich hier nicht um eine gewiinbrigende Investition handelt, sondern eher um eine Beteiligung, um die POPstar Technologie nutzen zu dürfen. >>Pressemeldung<<
In Zusammenarbeit mit stunning views Ltd. gründet netalone.com eine Firma namens iYellowBus Ltd. . Es handelt sich dabei um ein 40:60 joint venture zwischen den beiden Firmen, um das Internetportal www.YellowBus.net zu entwickeln. Um dies Aufgabe zu erfüllen, Chinas erstes grosses Kinder-portal zu werden, welches einen effektiven Kommunikations-Channel zwischen Kindern und Eltern aufbaut, wird YellowBus.net die erste Webseite für Kinder zwischen 3 und 13 anbieten. Dies wird ein Platz, an dem Eltern und Lehrer mit Kindern in interagieren und ein Mittel der Ausbildung und Erziehung für Kindergärten und primary schools. Mittels der berühmten Comicfiguren "McMug"und "McDull" und Ihre Familie (ich kenn die nicht, scheint aber der Hit in China zu sein, soll die chinesische Antwort auf Snoopy sein) wird dies ein vertical portal für alle chinesisch sprechenden Kinder in aller Welt. Es soll ein best-of-breed multimedia Inhalt angeboten werden inklusive "YellowBus", Veröffentlichungen und Animation mit den "McMug" Charakteren. Eine speziell für Kinder entwickelte Suchmaschine ist zur Zeit noch im Aufbau. Des Weiteren gibt es dann online games, Möglickeiten zur persönlichen Einstellung, eine online community und natürlich shopping etc. www.YellowBus.net soll im Juli 2000 gestartet werden. Das Magazin, Yellow Bus, wurde das erste mal 1993 veröffentlicht. Es handelt sich um ein bildende und unterhaltende Kinderpublikation in chinesischer Sprache und es ist allseits bekannt bei professionellen Erziehern. Für 40 Mio HK$ hat netalone.com einen 5% Anteil an DigiTel erworben und Dr. Lo kommt in den DigiTel Vorstand als nicht-bestimmendes Mitglied. Mit corp2net.com gibt es ein volles Angebot an online Webseiten- und e-commerce Lösungen, sowie eine Plattform für ISPs, ICPs und Softwarefirmen, um ihre Leistungen zu verkaufen. Diese Beteiligung wurde ebenfalls mit dem Ziel abgeschlossen, an die Broadband Platformen und die Erfahrung in System Integrationen ranzukommen, und um die ASP Business Möglichkeiten auszuschöpfen. Bei PacificLink handelt es sich um ein professionelles Website Design Haus, mit Schwerpunkt auf FLASH ® multimedia Fähigkeiten für Entwicklung von e-commerce portals. Die Partnerschaft wird zusätzlich netalones eigene kreative Designresourcen erweitern. PacifikLink bietet auch die Möglichkeit für broadband multimedia und web broadcast. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Software Firma, welche bekannt für ihr Hauptprodukt den "LECCO SQL expert" ist. Dies ist ein auf Windows basierendes SQL performance tuning tool für relational database management systems, es unterstützt zur Zeit die drei wichtigsten platformen: oracle, sybase und MS SQL Server. Zu Leccos Kunden zählen Hong Kong International Terminals (HIT), Cable & Wireless HKT, Reuters Asia Pte Ltd, 3M, Intel Corporation, Merrill Lynch, Ericsson UK und Chase Manhattan Bank, etc. Mit diesem Produkt kann man die Performance von Datenbanken um ein vielfaches erhöhen. >>Pressemeldung<<

Dr. Lo hat erst nach und nach Beteiligungen eingekauft mit denen jetzt jede Menge Dienste angeboten werden können und mit deren Fähigkeiten und Know-How jetzt eine Vielzahl neuer Portals entwickelt werden können.
Es stehen 200 Mio HK$ Barreserven zur Verfügung, des weiteren fließen noch 120 Mio HK$ durch den Verkauf von Cybersonic Firmengütern hinzu. Lässt man die alten Geschäftsfelder mal ausser Acht, so wirkt die Idee der Firma doch recht aussichtsreich. Wenn netalone.com wirklich das umsetzt, was sie geplant haben, dann wird die Zukunft dochwohl sehr rosig werden, denn der chinesische Markt ist der am stärksten wachsende Internetmarkt der Welt, wer jetzt die Grundlagen für die nächste Jahre stellt, der wird sich gut positionieren. Mit strategischen Beteiligungen gilt es jetzt sich grosse Teile vom Kuchen abzuschneiden und sich so schnellstens als Marktführer in den jeweiligen Nischen zu plazieren, nur so gibt es eine gewinnbringende Zukunft.

Diese Infos jetzt noch so von mir, dazu gibts noch keine offiziellen Meldung, aber die kommen wohl noch:
Als nächstes stehen erstmal die Zahlen vom 1. Quartal 2000 an, diese sollen Mitte Mai veröffentlicht werden.
In den nächsten Wochen sollen dann Informationen über ein weiteres e-commerce Portal bekannt gegeben werden, hierbei handelt es sich um eine B2B-Seite, die als Handelsplattform zwischen Hotelketten aus Hong Kong und Reiseagenturen besteht. Hier sollen dann Komplettpakete inklusive  Unterbringung und allem drum und dran, Reiseausflüge usw. gehandelt werden, die dann an den Endkunden resellt werden.   Dieses Portal namens Hotel-exchange.com soll vorraussichtlich Ende Mai online gehen.
Eine weiteres e-commerce Portal soll die B2B-Seite hkstationar.com sein. Diese Seite zielt hauptsächlich auf die mittelständischen Unternehmen, die mittels dieser Seite Büroequipment und Büromaterial erfolgreich handeln können. Den Startermin habe ich noch nicht ausmachen können.
Die Seite asiatechstocks.com ist erstmal bis auf weiteres auf Eis gelegt.
Irgendwie sollen Informationen zu einem Portal namens musicguanxi.com demnächst veröffentlicht werden. Worum es sich hierbei handelt weiss ich noch nicht.
Dann wird das Portal yellowbus im Juli gestartet.
Anfang Mai war der Netalone.com Vorstand in den USA auf Roadshow, um Investoren zu locken. Denn es ist in China jetzt offiziell erlaubt, dass sich ausländische Unternehmen mit bis zu 49% an chinesischen Firmen beteiligen.

Zum Teufel nochmal, wie hast du denn die zu 0,16 gekriegt, hatte den ganzen Tag über, an allen(!!) Börsen Orders zu 0,16 drin.
Hab aber keine bekommen, jetzt muss ich mal nachschauen ob überhaupt Umsätze stattgefunden haben zu diesen Kurs!!

(Infocast News) Netalone.com (0336) Chairman Lo Wing Yan said that the company will focus on the development of ASP. He expected an income of approximately $100 million will be generated from the business in the coming year, and a breakeven will be reached within fifteen months.

He explained that ASP could contribute stable income to the company. Relatively speaking, content provider business makes no income guarantee. Moreover, the investment of market promotion for content provider is more. Therefore, there have been recently a number of B2C web-sites closed in some foreign countries.

At present Netalone.com has over $100 million cash in hand. Currently there are 120 staffs in Hong Kong. In future it will increase the number of program producers in Mainland China.

Tech companies that have yet got listed or listed tech companies that have not raised capital for the second round may come across difficulty in funding, especially for those companies engaging in the B2C market. Tech companies that engage in telecommunications infrastructure and data centres may survive more easily.

Lo said Netalone.com intends to invest $100 million in developing application software services next year. A break even is expected within 15 months. The company expects a turnover of $100 million from such operations next year. Currently, the company secures contracts worth $30 million to $40 million. Seven of which are in relation to large-scale enterprises and three of which are in relation to small-scale enterprises. It is expected the number of small to medium contracts will to increase to 10 to 15 over next three years. He added Netalone.com has 120 staff members in Hong Kong and 70 programmers in the joint venture in the mainland.

(Infocast News) William Lo, Chairman of Netalone.com (0336), said that a total of 7 companies were invested by its`s subsidiary investment fund at an amount of no less than $100 million. Among the seven companies, Digitel and LeccoTech are preparing to get listed on HK GEM.

He said that the company will not invest in other companies this year owing to an adverse market condition, but will focus on ASP development. Now the company has 7 types of clients including those of banking and merchandising industries. It will announce two new clients in near term. For the time being, the company has $30 to 40 million contracts on hand.

On the other hand, he said that the company is planning to play an active part in seeking clients from small and medium sized enterprises. There are about 10000 companies in such a market and the company only absorbs 3 but targets to absorb 15 to 20 within this year.

The company today announced its strategic partnership with Ericsson to jointly develop the e-commerce business in Greater China region. Ericsson offers technology and the company provides human resources. Ericsson will help agencies in the PRC to deal with the retailing business through such technology.

He added that the technology will firstly be tested in the company`s subsidiary izzue.com. The turnover of izzue.com for 1 month since the operation starting from March amounts to $400000 to $500000.

Bin auch investiert, allerdings bin ich zu 0,19 reingegangen.
für mich sieht die Sache so aus:
Es gibt viele Unternehmen die sich mit dem www. Prunk schmücken und gerade im letzten Jahr wurde aus einer Fischereifirma ein Internetunternehmen und ähnliches.
Solche Verwandelungen gab es in der asiatischen REgion sehr häufig.
Allerdings ist nun die Zeit gekommen, dass sich die Perlen von dem ganzen Müll separiert.
Ich hoffe nur das Netalone dazu gehört. Für mich ist die Sache so:
Ein wenig eindecken und in 2 Jahren mal wieder drauf schauen. Entweder Top oder Flop.
Eines weiss ich nur jetzt schon. Diese Anlage ist für Spekulanten mit einer der Aussichtsreichsten wenn man das Risiko mag.
Eins noch lasst die Finger weg von China Online! Das ist ein Fake! Habe mir fast die Finger damit verbrannt.

Internetwachstum in China und Hong Kong
In einer Studie hat iamasia (Interactive Audience Measurement Asia) die Anzahl und Struktur der Internetbenutzer in der VR China und in Hong Kong bestimmt. Iamasia befragte dabei zufällig ausgewählte Chinesen per Telefon. Das Alter der Befragten lag zwischen zwölf und sechzig Jahren. Dabei wurde ein Internetuser von iamasia als eine Person definiert, die in den letzten vier Wochen das Internet nutzte.



In Hong Kong gibt es 1,85 Millionen User. Dies ist ein Anteil von 37 Prozent der Einwohner in der befragten Altersgruppe. Des weiteren wurde noch unterschieden, ob die Internetnutzer privat oder geschäftlich das Internet nutzen. Die privaten User haben in Hong Kong mit 1,52 Millionen eine klare Mehrheit gegenüber den 610.000 geschäftlichen.



Die Situation in China ist hingegen etwas anders. Hier gibt es bislang 12,3 Millionen Menschen, die das Internet nutzen. Für China wurde von iamasia mit 25 Prozent nur der Anteil der User unter den Einwohnern von Beijing angegeben. Die chinesische Hauptstadt ist der Ort mit der größten Internetnutzungsdichte. Bei zur Zeit 1,275 Milliarden Einwohnern beträgt der Nutzeranteil im gesamten Land also knapp ein Prozent. Zwar wurde auch hier wieder der Versuch gemacht, zwischen privaten und geschäftlichen Internetbenutzern zu unterscheiden, aber es ist in diesem Fall nicht eindeutig geschehen. Es besteht, laut iamasia, die Möglichkeit, dass private Nutzer als geschäftliche Nutzer gezählt wurden. Nach diesem Verfahren ermittelte man 5,7 Millionen private und fünf Millionen geschäftliche Nutzer.

Deutliche Unterschiede zeigten sich auch in der Dynamik der beiden Märkte. Während die chinesischen Internetnutzer zu 56 Prozent in den letzten zwölf Monaten erstmalig das Internet nutzten, sind die User in Hong Kong zu siebzig Prozent seit über einem Jahr dabei. In China ist das Internet also immer noch ein relativ neues Phänomen.



Ein weiterer Aspekt der Studie war die Userstruktur. Es benutzen sowohl in Hong Kong, als auch in China mehr Männer als Frauen das Internet. In China sind 62 Prozent der User männlich, in Hong Kong 58 Prozent. Insbesondere die chinesischen User sind vorwiegend unter der jüngsten Altersgruppe zu finden, der Altersdurchschnitt in Hong Kong ist schon etwas höher. Die betrachteten Gruppen sind zwischen 15 bis 29 sowie 30 bis 44 Jahren alt. In China beträgt der Anteil der jungen Gruppe 63 Prozent, der der alten 24 Prozent. Die entsprechenden Zahlen für Hong Kong sind 48 Prozent in der jungen Gruppe und 38 Prozent in der alten.



Dies hat wohl auch auf die Kaufkraft im Internet Einfluss, da in China nur fünf Prozent aller User jemals online gekauft haben, in Hong Kong aber fünfzehn. Die beliebtesten Artikel waren Bücher, Lebensmittel, insbesondere bei Frauen, und Hard- und Software, insbesondere bei Männern.


Dies zeigt, dass noch ein enormes Potential auf dem chinesischen Markt besteht, wo noch über eine Milliarde Menschen ohne Internet sind. Allerdings wird der Aufbau einer entsprechenden Infrastruktur noch Jahre in Anspruch nehmen. Dies bietet eine langfristige Expansionsmöglichkeit für Unternehmen, die Hardware vertreiben, wie zum Beispiel Pacific Century Cyberworks und SUNeVision. Auch Portal- und Contentanbieter wie HongKong.com, Sino-i.com oder Tom.com können an diesem Wachstum teilhaben.

[Hong Kong, August 4, 2000] netalone.com Limited (¡§Netalone¡¨ or the ¡§Company¡¨ stock code: 336) announced today its final results for the year ended 31 March 2000. Dr William Lo, Chairman and CEO of the Company also took the opportunity to announce the e-business enabler¡¦s strategy for the coming quarters.

According to Dr. Lo, the business focus of the Company has been progressively transformed from a consumer electronics and footwear products manufacturer to an integrated e-business enabler after he assumed the Chairmanship of the Company in December 1999.

He said that in order to establish a strong foothold in the e-business servicing market, management has recently implemented a three-pronged business strategy to take the Company forward. ¡§Firstly, to reshape Netalone into a first class e-business enabler by developing the best-in-class infrastructure -- both technology and people; secondly, to capture a significant share of our target market segments by offering carrier-grade e-business solutions at affordable prices; and thirdly, to manage unit cost proactively to continually increase our competitiveness and improve profit margins,¡¨ said Dr Lo.

Netalone¡¦s business portfolio is now composed of three separate business units: e-Solution Provision, e-Business Consultancy and e-Venture. ¡¨While the consultancy and venture catalyst businesses are relatively small in terms of operations, they both add significant value and leverage to our core e-solution business,¡¨ he added.

In the financial year ended 31 March 2000, Netalone has recorded a decrease in turnover from HK$128.7 million to HK$67.9 million. ¡§Given that the integrated e-business operation only began in December 1999, the financial results for the year reflected mainly the performance of the manufacturing business which has been in place prior to the restructuring and therefore could be viewed as transitional in nature,¡¨ Dr Lo explained. Including the provisions and write downs made for an intangible asset and various assets of the manufacturing business totaling over HK$55 million, the loss attributable to ordinary shareholders for the year amounted to HK$99.5 million as compared to HK$55.2 million in the previous year.

Despite the losses, the net tangible assets of Netalone increased 15-fold from HK$18.8million as at 31 March 1999 to HK$290.6 million as at 31 March 2000. This has equipped Netalone with the necessary financial resources to cope with the costs associated with the development and growth of the e-solution business.





Besides, as part of the rationalization of the manufacturing business, the footwear business operation was disposed of in February 2000 and management is closely monitoring the operations of the electronics division to curtail losses. Management is also actively looking for opportunities to realize value for shareholders in connection with divestment of such operation.

Looking ahead, Dr Lo is confident that the new business mix of Netalone will offer a diversified and steady revenue portfolio and thus ensure a sustainable business model in the new economy.

¡§Our core e-Solution business offers enterprises various e-commerce solutions under an Application Service Provider (ASP) model. We believe that this new charging model provides enterprises with considerable flexibility by allowing them to shift a part of their IT cost structure from a fixed one to a variable one, thereby also enabling them to achieve a higher return on investment as they move to adopt e-business.

Our solution offerings include e-commerce enabling platforms such as Business Commerce Suite (B2B), Retail Commerce Suite (B2C) and Enterprise Information Suite (intranet),¡¨ he said.

According to Dr Lo, in order to provide one-stop services to customers, Netalone offers various supporting professional services such as creative design, logistics solution, customer relationship management (CRM) and business analytics. Given
that many clients have comprehensive back office systems such as Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), messaging, database, and directory, Netalone also offers seamless system integration service leveraging on the latest Extensible Mark-up Language (XML) technology.

He said that to differentiate Netalone from companies with similar offerings, the Company put strong emphasis on providing the highest quality, or carrier-grade, service at an affordable price, and with timely delivery. While the ASP charging model and experience in project management will ensure that the latter two objectives are met, it is Netalone`s strategy to form close alliances with industry leaders around the world in order to build a robust technology infrastructure with the highest availability, reliability, scalability, and security standard. The Company has formed key strategic partners with BroadVision, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Ericsson and Software AG earlier in the year.

Dr Lo also said management believes that proactive and effective cost management is
always a key aspect of successfully managing a business.
