IBM kooperiert mit NTL
Der amerikanische Computerhersteller IBM und NTL, Englands größte Kabelgesellschaft, haben heute einen Vertrag in Höhe von bis zu 2 Mrd. Dollar abgeschlossen. Den Angaben zufolge wird IBM verschiedene IT-Dienstleistungen für NTL übernehmen. Der Vertrag wurde bis 2012 geschlossen, so die Unternehmen.

Plaut Optimum Solutions Extends Distribution Agreement with SAP for the SMB Market
Waltham, MA, (March 29, 2001) - Plaut Consulting, Inc., (German NEUR: Plaut AG) a leading consulting, technology integrator and services firm, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Plaut Optimum Solutions has signed an agreement with SAP America, Inc. providing for the non-exclusive marketing of SAP® software to the Small-and-Medium Business (SMB) market in New England. Plaut Optimum Solutions will offer software, hardware, implementation consulting services, application outsourcing, helpdesk services and on-going customer lifecycle support to its New York and New England customers.

Rapid Offsite Implementation (ROI): Utilizing an implementation methodology developed for limited resources encountered in many SMB businesses;
Application Helpdesk: In addition to Plaut Optimum - SAP helpdesk service, Plaut Consulting will offer outsourced application helpdesk for clients requiring additional support for general help and application usage;
SMB Vertical Solutions: Plaut is developing a number of industry-specific solutions in support of the SAP SMB Vertical Solutions program.
