Dear Shareholder,

As we head into the final months of 1999, I would like to update you
on the progress of American Technologies Group, Inc. (ATG). The
past year has been a threshold year for ATG, as it transitions from
a purely R & D company to a manufacturing and sales company.
We are no longer a developmental stage company. We have
products which are being marketed aggressively. There is a great
deal happening at ATG, much of which, for proprietary reasons, I
cannot discuss publicly. It is my firm belief that this company has
never been better focused and streamlined to reach its objectives. It
has never been better poised than it is today for real success. Let
me give you a brief overview of accomplishments to date:

The company is focused totally on revenue generation.
After substantial difficulty because of the price of gold and
other reasons, we have finally divested our non-core
businesses: the gold mine, the gold mill and ATG Media. The
sale of the tungsten mine should be completed by year-end.
These operations were a significant financial and
management drain on the company.
We have reduced our monthly burn rate from over $700,000
to approximately $250,000.
We are selling The Force® airborne combustion product in
Europe, Japan and China.
We have established a national distribution network to sell
The Force in the United States.
We are in negotiations with a premier infomercial firm to do
an infomercial on The Force directed to NASCAR and auto
racing enthusiasts. This will be coordinated with the
distribution network so that they benefit from each other.
We have developed a fantastic product which is being test
marketed by CompUSA. I am enclosing a sample of Screen
Magic with this letter. The product prevents computer and
TV screens from attracting dust. It works well on any
electronic equipment. Please try it. Also go to your local
CompUSA store and ask for it. Get your friends to do the
same. The more they sell the more assured we will be that it
will be carried by CompUSA as well as by other firms across
the United States.
The water distiller project is near completion. We have hired
a consultant as project manager so as to bring to bear the
best possible talent to get the product completed in the
shortest time possible. This is a product that is
technologically superior to anything else on the market. I am
convinced you will be proud of the product when it reaches
the market early next year.

While these are all substantial accomplishments, it is the
combustion catalyst area that holds the greatest promise for the
company in the near future. The company has been testing and
validating various forms of the catalyst for different applications, in
the most aggressive way possible. We have presented this product
to potential customers in literally every part of the world. We are
convinced that we have products which are superior to anything
else on the market, particularly for some of the developing
countries, where fuel quality is poor but environmental awareness is
high.

We have achieved exceptional results in a major oil
company’s gas turbine electric generation power plant.
The catalyst has been tested with ethanol directly into
gasoline in a foreign market with excellent results.
In China, a catalyst has been tested at a diesel electric
power generation facility with exceedingly positive initial
results.
An emissions test is being scheduled in a coal burning
electric generation facility in the very near future.
Our joint-venture agreement with KTI (now Technip USA) to
use the catalyst in petrochemical coking applications has
progressed to the marketing phase.
The Force fleet pack product is having very good results in a
large bus fleet test here in California.

It is only a matter of time before one or more of these applications
becomes a commercial success. A marketing and commercial
success in any one of these areas establishes the economic
viability of the company which will be reflected in shareholder value.

This site is being designed to make it easy to add new products as
they become available. The cosmetic products, home care
products and distiller will be added after the site is rolled out. The
site will be marketed via a wide variety of internet search engines to
make it readily accessible to the vast, expending international
internet public.

As I have said to those of you that I have spoken to in the last year,
there are no short cuts to getting high tech environmental products
to market. We have to go through the testing and validation. In one
of the applications described above, our catalyst was tested in a
$500 million power plant. No company will put that level of
investment at risk without substantial prepatory work being
completed. Some of the validation and testing should have been
started years ago and wasn’t. Instead the company was diverted to
mining and media. That is all behind us. We are now properly
directed, and the results we achieve will prove that point.

As I said at the beginning of this letter, the company is
streamlined, focused and poised for real success.

Mir als Nicht-OTC-Experten kommt bei der Lektüre des Beitrags die einfache Frage: wie kann man in Deutschland möglichst unkompliziert (!!) OTC-Werte handeln, die keine deutsche Wertpapierkennummer besitzen? (lt. Auskunft von ConSors nicht möglich).

Falls es für eine OTC-BB Aktie noch keine dt. WKN gibt, so muss in der Regel in Frankfurt eine angelegt werden. Dies dauert ca. 2-3 Tage und verschiedene Banken machen die als Dienstleistung für Ihre Kunden...


zu stockreporter und OTC-BB Aktien:

Das Spiel ist immer wieder das Gleiche -> Company, angebl. Analysten, Marketmaker und Pusher profitieren von den uns Kleinanlegern!

So geht das Spiel:
Bevor ein strong buy gleichzeitig von versch. Analysten veröffentlich wird (u.a. stockreporter.de) und die Aktie hochgepusht wird, haben sich vorher bereits alle schon lange eingedeckt
-> die Aktie wird dann gezielt in den Baords (z.B. Raging Bull) gepusht
-> es entsteht ein Hype
-> jede Menge Kleinanleger springen auf den Zug.

Kurz vor dem Höhepunkt des Hypes, verkaufen diese Insider und die Kleinanleger müssen in den meisten Fällen mitansehen, wie sich der Kurs im freien Fall nach unten bewegt. Die Marketmaker tragen mit ihren Kursmanipulationen natürlich zu dem Spiel bei.

Sicher, ein Einstieg kann sich durchaus lohnen, aber nur dann, wenn man zum richtigen Zeitpunkt einsteigt und auch auch rechtzeitig wieder aussteigt! Durch den Informationsrückstand in Europa haben wir jedoch einen zusätzlichen Nachteil.

Der Kurs kann in Einzelfällen natürlich auch mal oben bleiben , jedoch bestätigen die Ausnahmen die Regel!

Ganz still und heimlich verschwinden z.B. dann auch verschiedene Aktien von der HP von stockreporter, um die Performance dann nicht so schlecht aussehen zu lassen!

Bespiel BIDD
Im Sep. wurde diese Aktie von stockreporter bei einem Kurs von $ 4 mit strong buy zum Kauf empfohlen -> Heute dümpelt die Aktie bei 0,25 $ als Pink Sheet

Fazit:
Finger weg von Aktien, die von stockreporter und ähnlichen Pseudo-Analysten empfohlen werden! Wenn man unbdingt in OTC BB Aktien investieren möchte, so gibt es andere und aussichtsreichere Werte!

Lachmann, ich bin nicht ganz Deiner Meinung, generell zu sagen
Finger weg von Stockreport Empfehlungen. Schau Dir Rhombic,
Forlink,... an.

Ausserdem ist es bei OTC-BB Werten immer wichtig eigene Recherchen
zu starten.

In 99 hat ATEG nur 500k$ Umsazt gemacht. Allein durch die beiden
Angekündigten Verträge mit Hungarofek und China (CWEMEC) stehen 4Mio$
in den Büchern.

Man Spekulation hier sicherlich auf die Akzeptanz der Produkte und das
nächste Quartal wird ein gute Indikation geben, nur dann wird der Kurs
nicht mehr bei 0,3$ stehen. Im letzten Quartal wurden bereits die
ersten Umsatze von The Force getätigt.
