Hat überhaupt noch jemand außer mir Ventro-Aktien im Depot herumliegen?
Morgen kommen die Zahlen zum 3.Quartal, mir wird schon ganz schummrig, wenn ich an die letzten Zahlen aus Quartalen zuvor denke.
Meint ihr, dort könnte es Überraschungen geben, auch hinsichtlich der weiteren Zukunft Ventros. Ich überlege ernsthaft die Teile morgen, vor den zahlen, rauszuhauen. Die Aktie hat die letzten 2Wochen ganz gut performt, steht bei ca. 0,70$ (von 0,2$ Tiefststand) und könnte im Moment gut bewertet sein. Mein Verlust wäre noch zu verschmerzen, da ich auf 0,9$ verbilligt habe.

ich gehöre auch zu den wenigen die noch (!) vntr besitzen.
leider war mein erster kk 11.5 der zweite dann 2.75, so dass ich nur auf 7.13 (haha) kommen muss! wenn ich jetzt verkaufe beibt mir noch ne pizza ohne belag oder eine dose ventro pussy light. in den letzten tagen waren ganz ansehnliche umsätze, vielleicht schaft die sch....bude doch noch den turnaround. die news waren ja auch nicht schlecht.
auf jeden fall zünde ich heute abend eine kerze für vntr an.

KK über 15 Euro, irgendwann mal mit KK 0,61 verbilligt.

Ventro Releases Third Quarter Financial Results
Mountain View, Calif. — October 24, 2001 — Ventro™ Corporation (Nasdaq: VNTR), a leading provider of collaborative solutions for program management and quote management, today announced results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2001.
The third quarter marked the completion of the integration of Ventro`s operations with those of NexPrise, Inc. Ventro acquired NexPrise on August 8 and the combined entity now focuses exclusively on providing collaborative software solutions for program management and quote management.
Since the NexPrise acquisition, Ventro has signed customer contracts with an expected value of more than $1 million. Bookings, which represent the contracted revenue for the next twelve months, were approximately $850,000. Revenues, which are the value of customer contracts recognized evenly over the length of the contracts, were $350,000. Ventro recognized only NexPrise-related revenues that were effective after the NexPrise acquisition closed, or 53 of the 92 days of the third quarter.
Ventro continues to reduce its ongoing operating expenses to preserve cash. The company`s operating expenses for the quarter were $15 million. Included in the operating expenses were $5.3 million of restructuring charges, $2.3 million of charges related to NexPrise in-process research and development, and $1.7 million of non-cash charges for depreciation and amortization. Ventro expects operating expenses in the fourth quarter to be approximately half the total incurred in the third quarter. Net cash used by operations, excluding restructuring and one-time expenses, was approximately $7 million in the third quarter and is expected to be approximately $2 million lower in the fourth quarter.
As of September 30, 2001, Ventro`s cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments totaled $32 million. Over the last nine months, Ventro greatly reduced its liabilities by repurchasing over 95% of its convertible debentures and creating $160 million in extraordinary gains.
"Our accomplishments in the third quarter, including the acquisition of NexPrise and the restructuring of our operations, set a clear direction and solid foundation for our future," says David Zechnich, Chief Financial Officer of Ventro. "Our objective is to grow our top-line revenues while controlling our expenses so we meet our plan to become cash flow positive on our existing cash."
Ventro made a number of organizational changes in the third quarter to reflect its new focus. Ted Drysdale, the former Chief Executive Officer at NexPrise, joined Ventro as its President and a member of its Board of Directors. He replaced Jon Callaghan, who retired, on the Board of Directors. Prior to joining NexPrise, Drysdale was the Senior Vice President for the Visualization and CSM Group at Parametric Technology Corporation, Chief Executive Officer and President at Division, Inc., and Co-Founder and President at Objectlogic. Varma Kunaparaju, the Vice President of Engineering at NexPrise, and John Lynch, the Vice President of Sales at NexPrise, also joined Ventro. Both remain in their same capacity at Ventro.
The Ventro solution is designed to meet the needs of those who manage complex programs within three industries: aerospace and defense, automotive, and engineering construction. Ventro`s program management application is a web-based replacement of the tools that companies currently use to manage and track their programs. Its quote management application is a web-based replacement of the tools companies use to assemble, distribute, and analyze requests for quotes. Currently, both processes are plagued by inefficiencies and errors. The Ventro solution enables its customers, including Boeing Rocketdyne, Lockheed Martin, Bell Helicopter, and Trelleborg Automotive, to lower program costs, speed program completion time, and improve program quality.
