Die Euphorie über japanische und Hongkonger Tech Aktien
lassen die Börse in Singapore scheinbar völlig in Ver-
gessenheit geraten.Ich habe in letzter Zeit schon von
einigen guten Werten aus Singapur hier im Forum gehört,
aber mich nie direkt damit beschäftigt.
Alle Interessierten können hier ihre Topfavoriten nennen
und vielleicht kurz eine Begründung abgeben.
Den einzigen Wert, den ich kenne ist Pacific Internet.

Versuche es mal mit Datacraft (schreiben schon schwarze Zahlen), oder aber etwas solider mit Singapore Telecom, Singapore Airline, Mediaring oder Untited Oversea Bank (alle in D notiert).
Mit den letzten 3 Aktien wirst Du ein solides Wachstum erzielen, wenngleich der Megahype (30% an einem Tag) eher ausbleiben.
Bedenke, daß diese Aktien nicht wahnsinnig liquide sind.

ich hab` Singapur Airlines im Depot,aber die werden dich weniger anturnen oder irre ich mich da.Du mußt sie ja nicht kaufen,aber flieg mal mit denen,da stimmt sogar in der Schweineklasse das Preisleistungsverhältnis.

7. Review of the performance of the company and its principal subsidiaries
Sales for the year ended 31 December 1999 stood at Php 835.27 million, an increase of 35% compared to previous year. The increase in sales was brought about by a jump in orders for discrete and telecommunications components. The 1999 sales breakdown in percentage terms is 71% Europe, 27% USA and 2% Asia.
The Company realized a pretax profit of Php 140.13 million in 1999, compared to the previous years pre-tax profit of Php 120.18 million or a 17% increase.
Net income after tax climbed to Php 137.36 million from Php 109.0 million the previous year. In terms of earnings per share, it grew to PhP 0.98 compared to PhP 0.81 in 1998, a 21% improvement.
8. Commentary on current year prospects
1999 was the year when Fastech put in place 5 additional production lines. For the year 2000, the Company expects to realize the full year contribution from the said production lines.
Also, in year 2000, Fastech plans to expand capacity on 8 existing production lines, in addition a new production line for a discrete package catering mainly to the telecommunication market.
With the current upsurge in the semiconductor market, the Company is targetting to produce 859 million parts from 467 million parts in 1999, an increase of 84%.
The Group`s focus in the year 2000 is quality growth through operational efficiency and optimization of capacity. Barring any unforeseen events, the Group expects to record another year of strong performance in terms of both income and earnings per share.

13. Y2K Statement
The Group did not experience any problems in its financial or operating activities
arising from the cross-over to 9th September 1999 and 1st January 2000. Further,
the Group has prepared and will have key personnel on standby for the next
cross-over on 29th February 2000 but does not expect any problems that will have
material adverse effect on the Group`s operations and financial results in year
2000 on this third cross-over.
The Group is systems ready for the rollover on 29 February 2000 and will continue
to monitor the situation.
The cost incurred by the Group for Y2K compliance was approximately
US$50,000 which has been charged to profit and loss accounts as and when
incurred while the costs of new hardware and software were capitalized and
depreciated in accordance with the Group`s depreciation policies.

7. Review of the performance of the company and its principal subsidiaries
Sales for the year ended 31 December 1999 stood at Php 835.27 million, an increase of 35% compared to previous year. The increase in sales was brought about by a jump in orders for discrete and telecommunications components. The 1999 sales breakdown in percentage terms is 71% Europe, 27% USA and 2% Asia.
The Company realized a pretax profit of Php 140.13 million in 1999, compared to the previous years pre-tax profit of Php 120.18 million or a 17% increase.
Net income after tax climbed to Php 137.36 million from Php 109.0 million the previous year. In terms of earnings per share, it grew to PhP 0.98 compared to PhP 0.81 in 1998, a 21% improvement.
8. Commentary on current year prospects
1999 was the year when Fastech put in place 5 additional production lines. For the year 2000, the Company expects to realize the full year contribution from the said production lines.
Also, in year 2000, Fastech plans to expand capacity on 8 existing production lines, in addition a new production line for a discrete package catering mainly to the telecommunication market.
With the current upsurge in the semiconductor market, the Company is targetting to produce 859 million parts from 467 million parts in 1999, an increase of 84%.
The Group`s focus in the year 2000 is quality growth through operational efficiency and optimization of capacity. Barring any unforeseen events, the Group expects to record another year of strong performance in terms of both income and earnings per share.

13. Y2K Statement
The Group did not experience any problems in its financial or operating activities
arising from the cross-over to 9th September 1999 and 1st January 2000. Further,
the Group has prepared and will have key personnel on standby for the next
cross-over on 29th February 2000 but does not expect any problems that will have
material adverse effect on the Group`s operations and financial results in year
2000 on this third cross-over.
The Group is systems ready for the rollover on 29 February 2000 and will continue
to monitor the situation.
The cost incurred by the Group for Y2K compliance was approximately
US$50,000 which has been charged to profit and loss accounts as and when
incurred while the costs of new hardware and software were capitalized and
depreciated in accordance with the Group`s depreciation policies.
