Als erstes der Chart. Dazu braucht man nicht all zu viel zu sagen. Aus charttechnischer Sicht lautet die Devise, trotz des Anstiegs Kaufen. Dazu ein Zitat aus Der Aktionär: S&P TSE Canadian Gold Index ...Kanadische Goldminenaktien und Explorationstitel werden alle Anlageformen in den nächsten Monaten outperformen und Sie sollten noch vor der breiten Masse auf diesen fahrenden Zug aufspringen, bevor es zu spät ist.
Desweiteren gibts auch eine Vorstellung im Aktionär. Hier ein kleiner Auszug. Besondere Beachtung sollte man auf den Partner von IMA legen, denn dies ist kein geringerer als Barrick Gold. Hier könnten uns noch erhebliche Kurssteigerungen ins Haus stehen. Ja aber schau dir IMA mal an. Das ist doch nicht nur ein billiger Zockerstock. Ich denke, mit Barrick an seiner Seite ist das Unternehemen Sehr interessant. Und wenn es irgendwann mal "zu interessant" wird, könnte Barrick vielleicht ganz zuschlagen. Also da wir hier horrende Verluste zu erwarten haben glaube ich nicht. Eine Konsolidierung kann es natürlich immer geben, aber aus charttechnischer Sicht ist der Weg frei nach oben.

John C. Doody, editor of the numbers-crunching Gold Stock Analyst newsletter, figures Barrick Gold in its latest reported quarter saw the mark-to-market value of its so-called hedge book drop to a negative $121 million as of March 31 from a positive $380 million on June 30, 2001.
Doody at Gold Stock Analyst puts the negative swing of the company`s hedge book at $507 million. "This swing far offsets the net profits earned of $46 million in the first quarter of 2002 plus the $66 million in the third quarter of 2001 plus the $82 million in the fourth quarter of 2001. The net is a loss of $313 million."
"The sensitivity of the derivative portfolio now stands at about $21 million an ounce," says Douglas Pollitt at Pollitt & Co. in Toronto. "Each $1 an ounce upward move in the gold price sees the mark-to-market (of Barrick`s derivative contracts) drop by about $21 million. At $350 an ounce, the mark-to-market would be over $1 billion in the red." Gold prices this year have risen to $312 an ounce from $270 at the start of January

Der Vergleich mit Manhattan Minerals ist ja wohl lächerlich und deutet nur auf Deine Hilflosigkeit im aktuellen Marktumfeld hin oder ist es Unwissenheit ?
Was hat das spezielle Umweltproblem einer(!) einzigen Explorationsfirma mit dem gesamten kanadischen Explorationsmarkt zu tun ? Ich finde das nur noch peinlich !

A poll of residents of the northern Peruvian town of Tambogrande and surrounding areas on Manhattan Minerals` Tambo Grande mine project was "illegal," "politically motivated" and financed by "anti-mining NGOs," according to the company`s chairman and CEO.
Results of Sunday`s "referendum," as those who organized the poll called it, showed 98.7% of voters are against the US$315mn polymetallic project, which would involve relocating several thousand Tambogrande residents since part of the deposit lies under the town.
"This was a non-binding opinion poll ruled illegal by the government, rejected by the church and funded by Oxfam," the chairman and CEO of Vancouver-based Manhattan (TSE: MAN), Lawrence Glaser, told BNamericas.
"Why would a charitable organization fund an event like this just three weeks before the environmental impact study and feasibility study are scheduled to be handed in, and two or three days before an anti-mining demonstration is planned?" he asked.
The company could not put its case to "voters" in the poll because it was illegal, Glaser said, adding once the studies are published a series of public meetings will be held during which residents will be able to air their views.
"But no mine will be built until we get a social license & and Manhattan Minerals is not going to forcibly evict anyone from their homes," he said, adding this "license" would be obtained by gaining consensus for the mine.
The project, located about 1,000km north of capital Lima, is designed to produce 350,000oz/y gold and 3Moz/y silver in the first few years, before the underlying copper deposit is developed.
According to Glaser, relocations would be carried out under World Bank guidelines, and those affected would be provided with properties of equal or higher value.
"In fact, those who would be relocated are our strongest supporters. But those in San Lorenzo valley who would not be impacted by the mine are concerned that they will not receive the same benefits," Glaser said. The valley is a major mango and lime producing agricultural zone.
According to municipal officials, 27 percent of the 36,000 eligible voters stayed away from Sunday`s poll, although Glaser said only half of those who could vote actually did do.
Peru has seen a series of demonstrations against mining, and in a protest last year Manhattan`s offices in Tambogrande were destroyed.
The company has until May next year to decide whether to proceed with development, assuming permitting is secured. Manhattan has been exploring on various deposits in the area since 1997 and holds concessions to some 90,000ha in four blocks.
The first deposit earmarked for development is known as TG1. Processing of the oxide cap would start at the rate of 7,500t/d, before the underlying copper-zinc deposit is developed.
In the third year a flotation plant would be commissioned and operated at 10,000t/d using one grinding line, and then expanded in the fourth year to 20,000t/d, after converting the grinding capacity of the oxide plant.
According to latest published figures, the precious metals deposit at TG1 contains an indicated resource of 7.96Mt grading 3.6g/t gold and 62g/t silver and an inferred resource of 725,000t at 3.4g/t gold and 62g/t silver for a total of 989,000oz of contained gold and 17.2Moz of silver.
The base meals deposit contains an indicated resource of 56.2Mt grading 1.6% copper, 1.0% zinc, 0.5g/t gold and 26g/t silver, and an inferred resource of 3.29Mt at 1.5% copper, 0.8% zinc, 0.4g/t gold and 18g/t silver.
State company Centromin would maintain 25% of the project.

Die Werte die dun angeführt hast, was haben die denn mit Problemen zu tun ? Wenn nach mehrtägigen und mehr 100%-igen Anstiegen bei diesen Werten eine kleine Korrektur erfolgt, kannst du doch nicht ernsthaft von Problemen sprechen. Hier mal nur einige Chart Beispiele. An diesen kann man auch sehen, das die Aufwärtstrends vollkommen intakt, und Korrekturen sind völlig normal.
Außerdem ist es doch o.k. wenn man unterschiedlicher Auffassung ist, deswegen kann man doch einigermaßen normal miteinander reden.

Nach der Konsolidierung um die 0,70 CAD könnte jetzt wieder ein Anstieg bis auf die 0,9 CAD folgen. Aktuell zieht der Kurs schon wieder etwas an. 0,73 - 0,74 CAD. In FFM werden sie noch mit 0,48 - 0,50 gehandelt. Das ist ja knapp unter Parität. Auf alle Fälle sollten bei IMA in den nächsten Tagen deutlich höhere Kurse möglich sein.

IMA Acquires New Property in Chubut Province, Argentina
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 19, 2002--IMA Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:IMR) is pleased to announce the acquisition
of the Victoria claims totaling 12,709 hectares, which are contiguous to the Company`s Las Bayas property in Chubut Province, southern Argentina.
Las Bayas is along the same geological trend as Brancote Holdings PLC`s Esquel deposit (resource of 3.8 million ounces gold), and in a similar
geological environment. This new property addition is the result of a substantial review of southern Argentina by IMA`s geologists over the past two
years. The Company now has over 20,000 hectares in Chubut Province, and is currently reviewing several other new projects.
Evaluation of satellite data on the Victoria claims suggests that the principle zone of gold bearing quartz veins previously identified on Las Bayas may
extend up to 4.5 kilometers into the Victoria claims, along trend to the northeast. Only two rock samples have been taken on Victoria claims, and they
returned values of 1.4 and 0.8 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. Further exploration is now being planned for 2002.
Previous sampling of the veining on Las Bayas has returned gold values of up to 25.8 g/t gold (3/4 ounce per ton). Individual veins on Las Bayas occur
up to 22 meters in width and are exposed intermittently along strikes of over 350 meters. The style of mineralization and trace element signatures on Las
Bayas are characteristic of low sulphidation epithermal precious metal mineralization, similar in style to the Esquel gold/silver deposit.
In the Patagonia region several companies have made new discoveries, including: Anglo American at Cerro Vanguardia, Brancote at Esquel, and Silver
Standard Resources/Black Hawk Mining Inc. at Manantial Espejo. Consequently, the district has attracted the keen interest of several of the world`s
largest gold and silver producers, as well as an increasing number of medium and small exploration companies.

Auch heute möchte ich den Chart wieder zum Anlass nehmen, um IMA wieder mal zu erwähnen. Was in den letzten Tagen bei IMA passiert ist, ist absolut übertrieben und nicht gerechtfertigt. Wenn man sich vor allem die Umsätze anschaut, mit denen es nach unten ging, sieht man, daß da kein großer <ausverkauf stattgefunden hat, sondern der Preis einfach nur nach unten gedrückt wurde in leeren Büchern. Und bitte kommt jetzt nicht einen und sagt "Ja ich habs ja schon immer gesagt..." Diesen Kursverlauf konnte man nicht vorhersehen. Aber nichtsdesto trotz sind wir im Chart an einem sehr interessanten Punkt angekommen. Wir befinden uns in einer massiven Unterstützungszone, die im Jahresverlauf sich als sehr stark herauskristallisiert hat. Und auch diesmal wurde die Abwärtsbewegung genau da gestoppt und der Kurs dreht langsam wieder nach oben ab. Auf dem aktuellen Niveau kann man durchaus spekulative Positionen aufbauen.

witzig, für möglich gehalten hätte ich sowas auch nie!!! Zufällig hab ich IMA bei 0,61 Euro gekauft, dachte mal einen ganz spekulativen Explorer mit hohem Aufwärtspotential im Depot zu haben. Dann kauft mal schön, damit sich meine Verluste etwas reduzieren. Bitte keinen Spott.

Der zweite Versuch. Diesmal starten wir "unten", nachdem die massive Unterstützung gehalten hat. Die Marktverfassung spricht im Augenblick wieder für Gold. Ein Anstieg auf 0,6 - 0,65 CAD sollte im kurzfristigen Bereich möglich sein. Aktueller Kurs in FFM 0,32.

Ima Exploration sieht charttechnisch auch höchst interessant aus auf diesem Niveau!
Übrigens in Frankfurt noch günstig zu haben! 0,21 Brief!!Parität ist bereits ca 0,24 EUR Cent.

Dear Shareholder,
In view of the current market activity, I feel compelled to stay in touch with our shareholders and comment on IMA`s share price, and our exploration plans for the next several months.
The recent pressure on IMA`s stock is due to several contributing factors, none of which reflect the underlying assets and value of the Company, upon which we are continuing to build. The extremely volatile equity and gold markets, summer doldrums, and the Company`s cautious approach in Peru when it postponed drilling to avoid sensitive regional political campaign issues related to mining, have all temporarily affected our share price.
The Company is continuing with value added exploration strategies in several established mining locations. The devaluation of the Argentine peso has created an unprecedented opportunity to increase our activities on some of our properties in key exploration regions in that country.
Fieldwork will be carried out in the following order:
Chubut Province - In August, our geologists will begin a Phase I program in Chubut Province to evaluate several targets, including a gold bearing quartz vein that is up to 22 meters wide and may extend up to 4.5 km, all within 100% owned IMA property. The objective of this work program is to define drill targets. IMA`s Chubut concessions are located in proximity to the 3.8 million ounce Esquel gold discovery, which was made by Brancote Holdings PLC.
San Juan Province - Review the Gualcamayo Project with a second geochemical program on the 310 square km property that is located in a precordillera Carlin Trend environment with year round access. Dear Shareholder,
In view of the current market activity, I feel compelled to stay in touch with our shareholders and comment on IMA`s share price, and our exploration plans for the next several months.
The recent pressure on IMA`s stock is due to several contributing factors, none of which reflect the underlying assets and value of the Company, upon which we are continuing to build. The extremely volatile equity and gold markets, summer doldrums, and the Company`s cautious approach in Peru when it postponed drilling to avoid sensitive regional political campaign issues related to mining, have all temporarily affected our share price.
The Company is continuing with value added exploration strategies in several established mining locations. The devaluation of the Argentine peso has created an unprecedented opportunity to increase our activities on some of our properties in key exploration regions in that country.
Fieldwork will be carried out in the following order:
Chubut Province - In August, our geologists will begin a Phase I program in Chubut Province to evaluate several targets, including a gold bearing quartz vein that is up to 22 meters wide and may extend up to 4.5 km, all within 100% owned IMA property. The objective of this work program is to define drill targets. IMA`s Chubut concessions are located in proximity to the 3.8 million ounce Esquel gold discovery, which was made by Brancote Holdings PLC.
San Juan Province - Review the Gualcamayo Project with a second geochemical program on the 310 square km property that is located in a precordillera Carlin Trend environment with year round access. Endlich mal wieder was positives von IMA. Und wie. Die Results sehen doch wirklich sehr gut aus. Wir dürften heute einen kleine Kurssprung erleben, der uns wieder über die 2 CAD führen wird. Nach der Konsolidierung ist der Weg frei für die 3 CAD.

IMA Exploration Inc. is pleased to announce initial results from the diamond drill program at the Company`s 100% owned Navidad project, located in Patagonia, Argentina. Drilling to date has tested two small areas approximately 1,200 metres apart that are on the edge of a large geophysical chargeability anomaly (to see map click on the following link: http://www2.cdn-news.com/database/fax/2000/IMR1217.gif). Preliminary results indicate a very large, intensely altered and mineralized system. Results received to date compare favorably in terms of size and grade with numerous bulk tonnage silver deposits worldwide (ex: Pan American Silver`s Alamo Dorado deposit in Mexico, 35.5 M tonnes at 68 g/t silver).
Partial results have been received from the first four holes (to see map click on the following link: http://www2.cdn-news.com/database/fax/2000/IMR1217.gif), two of which were drilled on Navidad Hill and two on Galena Hill, as summarized in the results table in Appendix 1. At Navidad Hill, hole NV03-01 intersected 2,677.6 g/t silver over 0.8 m, or 535.6 g/t silver over 7.4 m, within a zone of 58.4 m averaging 111.1 g/t silver. On the same section, hole NV03-02 intersected 1,320.3 g/t silver over 1.1 m within a zone of 48.0 m that averaged 97.8 g/t silver. Preliminary drill results suggest that mineralization on Navidad Hill occurs predominantly as broad areas of stockwork and breccia, rather than narrow discrete structures as had originally been anticipated from the surface exposures.
Drilling has clearly demonstrated that the large IP chargeability anomaly is caused by sulfide mineralization, principally galena with local pyrite. In hole NV03-03, sulphide breccia mineralization was encountered over the entire 178.5m length of the hole. In hole NV03-04, 266.7 m of sulphide breccia was intersected to a vertical depth of 180m from surface. Results have been received for the upper 81.10 m of this hole, and intersected 111.3 g/t silver over 78.3 m including 169.2 g/t silver over 41.50 m and 223.4 g/t silver over 16.10 m at the bottom of this interval. Assays for the remaining 207 m of the hole are pending.
Drilling on Galena Hill has confirmed that anomalous chargeability values as defined by IP geophysical surveys (see release dated June 25th, 2003) are attributable to silver-lead (sulphide) mineralization over very long intersections in excess of 200 metres. These large widths have dramatic implications for the tonnage potential of this zone, given the 1.6 x 1.3 km size of the IP anomaly and that geophysics indicates depths locally extend to 300m. IMA geologists believe that significant silver-lead+/-copper mineralization may underlie large portions of the 1.6 x 1.3 km chargeability anomaly.
Eleven diamond drill holes (1,724 m total) have been completed to date, and results from the remaining seven holes are pending. Final results from this first phase of drilling will be disseminated when assays from all the holes are received from the lab. The geological crew is completing logging and sampling of core and drilling will resume early in the New Year after the holidays. These large widths have dramatic implications for the tonnage potential of this zone, given the 1.6 x 1.3 km size of the IP anomaly and that geophysics indicates depths locally extend to 300m. IMA geologists believe that significant silver-lead+/-copper mineralization may underlie large portions of the 1.6 x 1.3 km chargeability anomaly.
Eleven diamond drill holes (1,724 m total) have been completed to date, and results from the remaining seven holes are pending. Final results from this first phase of drilling will be disseminated when assays from all the holes are received from the lab. The geological crew is completing logging and sampling of core and drilling will resume early in the New Year after the holidays. Im nächsten Anlauf geht es erst mal bis zu dem Hoch bei 2,5 CAD. Bin mal gespannt, wie die Resultate sich heute auf den Kurs auswirken.

Tja wer sich gestern getraut hat, kann jetzt schon auf die ersten 6 - 10 % Plus blicken (je nachdem welchen Kurs er gestern erwischt hat) Aktuell 1,67 CAD. Bis Ende Januar sehe ich den Kurs oberhalb der 2 CAD und im ersten Quartal den Angriff auf die 2,50 CAD. Gerstern war ein Geschenk, ich habs zwar nicht verstanden, aber Geschenke sind daz da angenommen zu werden.
Ich bleibe auch bei meiner gestrigen Einschätzung: Kaufen bis 1,7 CAD und würde das sogar noch bis auf 1,8 CAD erwitern.

So Schlußjurs 1,79 CAD. Wer sich gestern getraut hat, konnte schon mehr als 10% einfahren. Die Resultate waren meiner Meinung nach sehr gut und ich konnte den Kursrutsch nicht verstehen, aber das relativiert sich ja auch gerade wieder.
Alle die "zugeschlagen" haben herzlichen Glückwunsch. Ich denke, alle Investierten werden auch 2004 noch sehr viel Freude an der Aktie haben.
