Silverado Financial Acquires San Francisco Funding; Completes Transition to Mortgage Bank
CAMPBELL, Calif. -- (Business Wire) -- Nov. 18, 2003
Silverado Financial, Inc. (OTCBB:SLVO) announced today
that it purchased San Francisco Funding Inc., (SFF) a mortgage bank
with offices in San Diego and Novato, California for a combination of
common and preferred stock. The transaction closed on Monday, November
17.
SFF will continue to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of
Silverado Financial Inc., with Daniel Selis continuing as its
President. SFF currently projects $400 million in loan volume and
$6,000,000 in gross revenue for the fiscal year ending October 31,
2004. Silverado believes that it can increase overall gross revenue to
as much as $10,000,000 and $2,000,000 EBITDA for its fiscal year
ending December 31, 2004.
Silverado will achieve this growth through by expanding its
current sales force in San Diego, Novato and Campbell and by opening
new offices and recruiting net branches. SFF currently operates with
$15 million in warehouse lines and licenses to operate in several
western states. Silverado expects to expand SFF`s warehouse lines to
as much as $65 million.
"This acquisition showcases the type of acquisitions Silverado is
actively seeking out. SFF represents a key component of our targeted
business mix and will immediately transform Silverado into a
full-fledged mortgage bank. From this point forward, Silverado will
concentrate on growing the underlying business and acquiring mortgage
brokerage operations to provide greater distribution of our lending
products," stated John Hartman, CEO of Silverado Financial.
Mr. Hartman also stated that Silverado was in final negotiations
with several additional acquisition candidates and would have further
information regarding these new targets in the coming weeks.

1.Quartal 2003:
revenue $0
net loss $200.542
1.Quartal 2004:
revenue $(x.)xxx.xxx!!!
(net loss?)/net income?
