      WAVE,
      Nuwave heisst das Unternehmen.
      Potential?
      Riesig.

      Product Description
The Video Game Enhancer provides brighter, clearer pictures on all gaming consoles. With a brighter picture, gamers will be able to level the playing field against monsters that jump out of dark corners while being better able to pick up power-ups hidden in shadows. The Video Game Enhancers simply connects between any video game console and your TV via AV cables, so you can set it up in minutes without changing your TV`s normal settings. The unit comes with two different video game settings and even works with DVD players.
It requires AV connection from console and a TV with AV input.

Great product for the ultimate gamer, 23 December, 2001
      Reviewer: A gamer from uk
if your thinking this is like the n64 expansion pack your very wrong, its a hundred times better.
It looks and does the job very well, the picture is alot sharper and the colours are more vibrent.
It matches the psx2`s colours and is a doddle to set up. its a shame you can not have it on its side........

Great upgrade but a little expensive, 23 December, 2001
Reviewer: Mr D M Farrer from uk
This is more for the ultimate gamer, it sharpens the picture as it said on the box it also brings out the more of the colurs. This is a great product nothing like the Nintendo`s expansion pack
on the 64, there is a real difrence as soon as you plug it in. it just needs to be less expensive....

      There is a difference ..., November 9, 2001
Reviewer: Sean Granger (see more about me) from Chicago, IL
      Between BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST.
Please don`t listen to the reviews below.
This little box provides fairly high quality contrast control, especially for televisions that cannot do it by itself.
When you crank the brightness up on a monitor(aka tv), you will notice that EVERYTHING is "brighter" ... even the blacks ... which is NOT supposed to be happening.
Contrast seperates and enhances the whites and blacks(without making the blacks look GREY) and helps to provide a brighter and more vivid picture.
Anyone who is interested in DVDs should know about contrast ;)
      Have fun.
      Don`t believe the hype ...

      A must for gamers without s-video!, November 8, 2001
      Reviewer: A gamer
At first I didn`t think this device would do anything, but now that I`ve used it I know it works very well.

It`s an absolute must for anyone that doesn`t have s-video connections (if you do, you`ll have to wait until an s-video version is available).

It makes the games look better, and I find myself always using it -- not just for dark games. Colors are more vivid and details of the game are more visible.

Don`t take my word for it though, there are a couple professional reviews on the `net and they`ll give you all the details.

I bought this piece of poop, January 8, 2002
Reviewer: Joe from Good old USA
I got this thing thinking it would better my game play. Well, as it turns out, monsters still hide in the dark and power ups are still hard to see. You know why? BECAUSE THATS THE WAY THE GAME WAS MENT TO BE PLAYED! I wasted 40 bucks on something that I could have done with my remote controll. Please, if you want to purchase this item, go right ahead. I am just saying its not worth your money unless you do have a 15 or 16 year old tv.

Think about what you are buying here, December 27, 2001
Reviewer: Pat Munns from Montgomery, AL United States
I was surprised to see this item on the Dreamcast top seller list; it`s a device that distorts your console`s video signal and people are paying money for this? I suppose that if you are pleased by an excessivley bright picture that is beyond what you can achieve with your television`s picture adjustment controls, and you don`t mind risking damage to your television, then you could justify purchasing this product.
If you want to get the best possible picture out of your television, try a picture adjustment guide DVD ...
And if you are still bothered by monsters hiding in dark areas, well suck it up or go play an easier game.

cheap way to improve your current tv, December 10, 2001
Reviewer: john diedrict from tampa fl
if you don`t have 3 grand to buy a new tv with, then this is a must buy. i figured i didn`t need one until i saw what it did for a buddy of mine, who has a 15 year old tv. my tv`s only 2 years old but it dosn`t have any of the high tech inputs, i noticed the difference as soon as i plugged mine in. if you`re gonna spend a couple of hundred for great graphics, you might as well spend 40 bucks too actually been able too see them.

Is the picture that bad?, November 25, 2001
Reviewer: Cameron Johnson (see more about me) from Roanoke, VA United States
I guess I have a decent television as the picture I receive from my XBOX is just fine and seems perfect to me - the games are designed for the "regular television" - they`re not designed for these 3rd party enhancers so I`m not sure it`s worth the $40. I`m happy with my picture to begin with however if you`re having some blur issues with particular games and you have an extra $40 - then go for it. Thanks.

      Big Waste!, November 21, 2001
Reviewer: A gamer from Boynton Beach, FL United States
First of all how can this be considered an "enhancer" when it requires you to use lowly RCA composite cables. Why downgrade from S-video or component connectors? Besides on most modern t.v.`s there are enough video controls to adjust.

At the very least (unless you have an older t.v.) you should wait for a model that supports S-video or component.

does much more than brighten, November 19, 2001
      Reviewer: A gamer
Don`t believe the reviewers who think this product only brightens the picture. You can`t adjust black level on your TV. When you adjust the brightness on your TV, the whole image gets washed out.
This thing adjusts clarity too and sharpens the picture. The best example I can think of is in Gran Turismo 3 where you can see so much more of the background and the reflection off the cars looks amazing. Game designers must love this product.
For 39.99, it`s worth it as an upgrade to your system.

Reviewer: Jean Ahmad (see more about me) from Union City, NJ United States
i work at a game store in nj, and i have seen it , i did not think it was going to be good based on the pictures on the box but this gives you a sharp clear bright image that you otherwise might not get , unless your tv is new and is hdtv or somthing then this would be a good product.

This is Great - it enhaces the screen x2, November 2, 2001
Reviewer: Chris Black from Miami, Florida
I was a skeptic when someone first recommended buying this accessory, however having tried it on games like "devil may cry" I`m now a complete convert. This device almost seems to double to resolution on the screen. Devil may cry is a very dark game, also too dark is places; often you miss things in the game because of this. The device also works well with DVD`s played on my PS2, using DVD`s like Star Trek, which are often very dark, and spotty in places - I`d recommend this device to anyone who plays video games.

      Better screen?, October 30, 2001
Reviewer: A gamer from Moorestown, NJ USA
Your probably thinking WOW! look at the difference but it only chagec tv`s that are about more than 10 years old. But even if it`s older there is a small button on the front of the tv that easily adjusts it.

I agree, waste of money, October 29, 2001
Reviewer: A gamer from Sanford, FL USA
All 3 of my TV`s have brightness settings. My computer monitor has a brightness setting. What is the use of this thing. They didn`t even mention anything about S-VIDEO or COMPONENT(HDTV) connections. I would also give this a `0` star if one existed and I`m not a pessimistic person! :)

      VGE - Really makes a difference, October 29, 2001
Reviewer: A gamer from New York, NY
VGE really helped me with my game playing. The detail and clarity was much greater and I did not have to change my controls on the television. And it does not just make it brighter, it makes it clearer. More like the game developers wanted you to see it in the first place. It also works great on DVDs. Dark backgrounds are alive with detail. Wouldn`t play games with out it. If you are serious gamer, check it out. Hope this helps.

NUWAVE Technologies, Inc. (NasdaqSC: WAVE, Berlin: 924422)

      Sektor: Technologie
