Emergency Filtration Products to Open New Production Facilities in Nogales, Mexico
Friday December 2, 8:00 am ET

HENDERSON, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 2005--Emergency Filtration Products, Inc. (EFP) (OTCBB:EMFP - News) today announced that it has signed a three year lease on a 13,000 square foot facility in Nogales, Mexico, where it intends to establish additional production capabilities to meet increased demand for its NanoMask and NanoMask filters. The Nogales plant will be initially equipped with spray booths to enhance pre-cut filters with nanoparticles, six high speed automatic packaging machines and a filter media cutting machine. EFP expects the Nogales plant to commence production within 4 to 6 weeks.

Current plans for the Nogales facility, as in its Henderson, Nevada, plant, are to enhance the filters with nanoparticles and package the filters hermetically. The company sources pre-cut filters from its subcontracted manufacturers where filter media is cut to the company`s specifications.

Increasing production capacity is a key component of the company`s growth plans, as EFP will then be able to pursue converting serious indications of interest (in the NanoMask and NanoMask filters) from large national and international companies into purchase orders. The company`s existing plant in Henderson, Nevada, does not have the production capacity itself to meet the potential demand that has been indicated by a large number of prospective customers.

"We are expanding our NanoMask filter production capacity as quickly as possible," said Douglas K. Beplate, President & CEO, EFP. "After meeting with a number of large national and international prospective customers, it became evident that the scale of orders that they are contemplating far outstripped the Henderson facility`s production capacity. Accordingly, after reviewing a number of different production options, we decided to establish production in Mexico, which has an ample supply of skilled labor and easy transportation access to the United States and other international locations."

The company has recently become aware of certain misleading and inaccurate reports in the media regarding its NanoMask product. In response, the company is taking action to determine the sources of such incorrect information and to proceed as necessary to prevent its dissemination. Accurate and complete information on the NanoMask and EFP`s other products is available on the company`s website.

      About NanoMask:

EFP`s 2H Nano-Enhanced Environmental Mask, the NanoMask relies on the company`s core 2H Technology(TM) filtration system, which utilizes a combination of hydrophobic or hydrophilic filters able to capture and isolate bacterial and viral microorganisms with efficiencies of 99.9%. The environmental mask utilizes the company`s patented 2H Technology(TM) and nanotechnology to enhance the capture-and-isolation characteristics of the filter media.

      About Emergency Filtration Products:

EFP is an air filtration products manufacturer who`s patented 2H Technology(TM) filter system has produced filtration efficiencies of "greater than 99.99%" at a particulate size of 0.027 microns. Its initial products were developed for the medical market: the Vapor Isolation Valve(TM) and RespAide® CPR Isolation Mask used for resuscitation of respiratory/cardiac arrest cases; and the 2H Breathing Circuit Filter for ventilators, respirators and anesthesia circuitry. Each has received FDA approval. The company also markets an Automated External Defibrillator Prep Kit featuring RespAide; and the NanoMask®, a nanotechnology enhanced environmental mask. In addition to filtration products, the company supplies Superstat®, a modified hemostatic collagen, to the US military for surgery and extreme wound care.

      Safe Harbor Statement:

This release may contain statements that are forward looking. Such statements are made based upon current expectations that are subject to risk and uncertainty. EFP does not undertake to update forward-looking statements in this news release to reflect actual results of and changes in assumptions or changes in other factors affecting such forward-looking information. The actual future results of the company could differ significantly from such forward-looking statements. Sales may be dependent on EFP`s ability to fulfill orders in a timely fashion as well as the success of future marketing campaigns, the signing of definitive agreements with additional distributors, and both the perceived need for EFP`s products and the competitive performance of such products in the marketplace.

I got the story. I cut and pasted what was up on the site. What bothers me is "The govenment said it doesn`t work, and officials have issued a warning about the NanoMask." Where did they issue a warning? Anyways here it is.

      -----------------------------------------------------

BOSTON -- With all the recent news about a bird flu pandemic, there`s another concern -- protection.

NewsCenter 5`s Susan Wornick had a warning Wednesday about a recent claim.

The maker of a bird flu mask claims it prevents "deadly viruses" and "kills them on contact." It`s called the NanoMask, and it costs about $10.

The government said that it doesn`t work, and officials have issued a warning about the NanoMask.

"The FDA does not allow any company to claim their personal protective equipment will protect against the flu," officials said.

Some surgical masks reduce the chance of transmitting infection and will help reduce the flow of germs, but that`s it.

The FDA encourages people to report claims like those made by the NanoMask.

      Genau !!!!
Deswegen hat das US - Militär Nanomask / Filter , weil sie sicher nichts taugen....

Ich finde es nicht schlecht das so langsam EMFP öfters in den Medien erwähnt wird. Man braucht Aufmerksamkeit bzw. PR.

      Allgemein
273.000 Stk.

      http://www.marketwatch.com/news/default.asp?siteid=&avatar=s…

Hinter jedem Unternehmen stehen Leute die Ihr tägliches Brot verdienen und dann Frage ich mich ob das auch so stupid ist.......

Man kann es wirklich anders ausdrücken, aber nicht so!!!
