VANCOUVER, BC--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 2, 2006 -- Automotive Specialty Concepts, Inc. (Other OTC:AMVS.PK - News) is pleased to announce that, due to the change in the companies focus to the exploration and production of precious metals, the company will change the name and symbol of the stock to become better known and presentable as a staple in the mining industry. Therefore, a consent resolution has been sent out to a significant portion of our shareholders to approve a name change to "Drake Gold Resources Corp."

The vote has been tallied and approved and the State of Nevada is in the process of filing and completion. We are awaiting a new CUSIP number and symbol from the SEC and NASD, which will be done in the next 7-10 days from what the lawyers have informed the company.
Shown here, the company outlined in a previous press release is the details of the vision the company is now focused on:
"Currently discussions with industry professionals have proved to be very beneficial and the company is preparing for shifts in the management team to better cater to the new vision of AMVS. Several potential high-value properties have already been located and have been under review by the panel of professionals to determine if the area is gold rich and worth further mining efforts and exploitation activity. Although this change is an about-face from the company`s previous business model, AMVS believes that the opportunities located in such a venture will be directly connected to the shareholders value and are fully confident in building a strong foundation in 2006."
The new management team is being formed and further announcements are being prepared to update shareholders. AMVS is prepared to issue several Letter of Intents (L.O.I.) to acquire or joint venture the company with assets in the gold industry.
