SAN ANTONIO, Jan 09, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nighthawk Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: NIHK), a leading provider of intelligent wireless power control and emergency notification products, announced today that is has received a second order for its PT1000 remote control boards from one of the largest US wireless voice and data companies. Nighthawk announced in December that the customer was placing Nighthawk products at cell tower sites in Northern New Jersey. This second order will enable Nighthawk devices to be deployed at cell sites throughout the State of New Jersey.

The customer will use the PT1000's to comply with rules recently adopted by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection that restrict the use of diesel generators on days when the air quality in New Jersey is deemed to be at unhealthy or hazardous levels. Utilizing custom firmware developed by Nighthawk specifically for the project, the customer can wirelessly turn the generators on and off on demand, ensuring that they are not tested or exercised on days when such use is prohibited.

Diesel generators must be exercised regularly to ensure that they are in working order when emergencies occur. Historically, pre-set timers have been used to automatically run generators on scheduled days. The new regulations in New Jersey restrict diesel generators of 37kW or greater from being used in non-emergency situations to ensure that New Jersey's air quality does not get worse on days with unhealthy air. Therefore, diesel generator operators must find a way to exercise the generators on allowed days, even though they cannot predict those days ahead of time.

Du bist nicht alleine. Bin seit Mitte Januar investiert. NIHK bekommt als Aufträge für ihr Produkt. Ich denke wir müssen jeweils die Quartalszahlen abwarten, in wieweit die Aufträge die Einahmen erhöhen.

DaimlerChrysler Places Second Order for Nighthawk Systems Units

--Units Control Exhaust Fans in Trenton Engine Plant--

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nighthawk Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:NIHK), a leading provider of intelligent wireless power management and emergency notification solutions, announced today that it has received a second order for customized wireless power control units to be used by DaimlerChrysler to control the venting of heat in their Trenton, Michigan engine plant. Nighthawk announced that they had received an initial order for units in March of this year. The 2.1 million square feet plant covers 136 acres and contains hundreds of exhaust fans that control the venting of heat from the plant. Nighthawk developed custom units to allow DaimlerChrysler to wirelessly control the exhaust fans from almost anywhere inside or outside of the plant.

The Nighthawk units will eliminate expensive wiring costs for DaimlerChrysler, and will enable plant officials to turn on and off the fans remotely in order to balance the amount of heat exiting the plant. This allows DaimlerChrysler to better manage the environment within the plant based on external factors such as weather as well as on internal factors, such as lighter product loads during holiday schedules. American Messaging, with facilities on site in Trenton, will provide the wireless access for the application.

Nighthawk Systems First Quarter Revenues Improve 50%
Gross Profits Improve 102%

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nighthawk Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: NIHK), a leading provider of intelligent wireless power management and emergency notification solutions, announced today that revenues for the first quarter of 2007 were $212,021 as compared to $141,387 in 2006, an improvement of 50%. Gross profit increased 102% from $42,575 in 2006 to $85,917 in the 2007 quarter, and selling, general and administrative expenses declined slightly from last year’s quarter to this year’s quarter. As a result, the net loss per share improved from ($0.02) per share in the first quarter of 2006 to ($0.01) in the first quarter of 2007. The Company also announced that orders received during the first quarter of 2007 exceeded $300,000, and that delays from parts vendors prevented quarterly results from being even more positive.

Nebraska Public Power District (“NPPD”) recently placed an order for the devices, as did the City of Beatrice Board of Public Works. NPPD has been ordering from Nighthawk on a regular basis since March 2005 in order to keep CE0700s in stock for use on an as needed basis, reducing order and installation timeframes. The Beatrice Board of Public Works originally ordered from Nighthawk in January of this year, and has placed two orders for units since that time including this most recent order.
