Wenn ein neues durchfinanziertes Angebot vorgelegt wird vllt.. Zu 18,47 USD hat der CEO keine Finanzpartner gefunden und dieses Vorhaben ist aufgegeben worden.
Ob der Preis zu hoch war oder der Zeitpunkt ungünstig, das kann man wohl nur spekulieren.

Canadian Solar will acquire a 51% shareholding in each of Photon Energy's five project companies in Australia that carry a total of 1.14 GWp of projects. The portfolio of projects includes the 316 MWp project in Gunning which is fully owned by Photon Energy, as well as four projects co-developed by Photon Energy with Polpo Investment, namely the 178 MWp project in Mumbil, the 165 MWp project in Gunnedah, the 286 MWp project in Suntop and the 196 MWp project in Maryvale.

Nein - ich verfolge das nicht mehr. Das General Meeting hat doch ordnungsgemäß das Going Private beschlossen. Es gab internationale (amerikanische) Gutachten zum fairen Wert des Gebots.
Erscheint mir mit den Erfahrungen der von der Deutschen Börse AG eingeladenen chinesischen Betrugs-AG's auch nicht erfolgversprechend. Die Deutsche Balaton AG hat da diverse Gesellschaften übernommen, auch teilweise schon Zugriff auf deren Zwischengesellschaften in Hongkong, aber nachwievor keinen Zugriff auf die Vermögenswerte in China.
Ich hoffe, das das bei Canadian Solar ähnlich gut vorbereitet ist wie bei Trina Solar und wir nicht eine Entwicklung wie bei der kleineren JA Solar sehen. D.h., das spätestens in einem Jahr die ADR nicht mehr gelistet sein sollten. Dafür sind dann die hier noch zu holenden ca. 5 % für mich bzw. den kleinen Anteil con CSIQ in meinem Depot attraktiv. Vllt. müssen sich ja auch noch Leerverkäufer eindecken und man sieht die 18,42 USD schneller.
