Also wenn man das liest hier. dann grüßt wieder das Murmeltier und man will sich schon wieder was schön reden, was gar nicht da ist.
Die harten Fakt´s sind:
- wenn die Rohstoffpreise so gut wären, dann würde man das gefundene auch fördern.
Da es aber nicht so ist, lohnt es sich nicht da nur einen Dollar Gewinn zu machen, also Loch dicht und Tschüß, das war ein Schlag ins Wasser.
Große Welle gemacht und nichts erreicht !
- ob die Aktion genau so herbeigerufen wurde !?
Ich denke schon, denn die ganze Geschichte ist zu auffällig.
Vorher keinerlei Regung am Markt, im Gegenteil es ging am Anfang sogar noch in Minus.
Dann plötzlich Pala-pala-pala , die haben eine ach so tollen Fund.
Auf einen Schlag 150% hoch und dann nur 2 Tage Gnadenloser-Aktien-Abverkauf und am dritten Tag Ruuuuuums....Ach ja, wir haben alles schon aufgegeben und sind weg, da ist nichts kommerziell zu holen....Tschüssssss !!!!
- Vertrauen zu den Aktionären aufbauen !?
Denen sind Aktionäre scheiß-egal , die dienen nur als Geld-Esel um sich mal schnell wieder paar Millionen reinzuziehen um solche "Fehlschläge" zu finanzieren !
Tja und da wird auch nichts mehr kommen..... wieder Monate lang Gras drüber wachsen lassen und dann kommt der nächste große Fund, der dann vielleicht wieder keiner war..... ADX läßt grüßen und die hohen Herren scheffeln die Kohle und leben auf hohen Niveau....

NAIROBI, Kenya, Sept 11 – The government has announced that the natural gas discovery at Mbawa 1 well off the coast of Lamu is not commercially viable.
The 52 meters of natural gas encountered at the Mbawa 1 Well – the first hydrocarbon discovery offshore Kenya – was not substantial for the exploration company Apache Corporation to continue drilling, although Energy Minister Kiraitu Murungi has termed it as ‘encouragement’ to continue exploration in the region.
Apache Kenya Managing Director Tim Gilblom said the firm was pulling down the drilling rig from Mbawa 1, with a likelihood of drilling a second well from late next year.
“We’re finishing up tiding up the well as it stands and move off it, although we’ll still be able to re-enter it if we want to. Then we’ll review where we are and what model we’ll put together on where to drill next and that will be a year or so,” Gilblom said.
Gilblom said typically a well would have to exhibit between three and five trillion cubic feet of gas to be commercially viable, a condition which Mbawa 1 failed to satisfy.
However he said the company intends to conduct further research on the information gathered from the well.
“Either that gas that we found was generated as dry gas in which case we’ll be looking for a large gas cap somewhere else on the block that we can drill and develop as a commercial success. Or if we feel that gas was a by-product of oil forming, then we’ll try and figure out where that oil is and drill for that. It takes about a year to figure out how we’ll do that,” he explained.
Apache Corporation is part of a joint venture consortium of which it holds 50 percent, along with Origin Energy Limited which has 20 percent as well as Tullow Oil and Pancontinental Oil and Gas Limited that each have a 15 percent stake.
The Mbawa 1 well is in Block L8, 70 kilometres east of Malindi offshore.
Murungi says the results are an “encouragement that the next well to be drilled in the block will likely result in a bigger discovery because of the geological information being gathered which has shown that there is a working petroleum system.”
The minister added the discovery reverses the perception that there was no source rock in deep off-shore Kenya, after Woodside Energy failed to find signs of oil or gas at the Pombo 1 Well in 2007.

Eben. Die Hardfacts könnte man emotionslos als deutlich positiv beurteilen.
Was setzt sich denn über kurz oder lang am Markt durch? Die "beschissenen Umstände" um den signifikanten, sehr warscheinlich sehr wohl kommerziellen Gasfund, welche diese brutale Marktreaktion hervorgerufen hat, evtl. von Kreisen außerhalb PCL's bewußt herbeigesteuert, werfen natürlich diverse Fragen auf, die von den Akteuren sicher nicht alle zufriedenstellend beantwortet werden können ...
PCL muss/wird aber um ihre generelle Glaubwürdigkeit und verlorengegangenes Vertrauen bei den Anlegern werben und so geht es doch so oder so, mit weiterhin, möglicherweise kommerziellen Aussichten ( denn das werden unabhängig von Politikern letztlich andere Leute zu beurteilen wissen ) weiter, die den Kurs über kurz oder lang wieder spekulativ gen Norden treiben sollten. Dieser Prozess wird sicher früher oder später einsetzen, und die Spekulanten greifen wohlmöglich schon morgen wieder beherzt zu.
Die Abstrafung, der Verkaufsdruck war heftig und angesichts des signifikanten Gasfundes, meiner Meinung nach völlig überzogen. Jene, die das ähnlich sehen, kehren in den Wert zurück, früher oder später.
Entweder hat PCL die (Klein-)Anleger skalpiert oder die betreiben nun Wiedergutmachung aufgrund des von ihnen selbst angerichteten Desasters. Die haben sicher massiv Druck bekommen vom Operator. Das mag Schönfärberei sein, könnte aber das Sentiment ein wenig anheben. Der Kurs steht da wie zu Drilling-Beginn, nun aber immerhin mit Gasfunden und immer noch ausreichend cash für weiteren Unfug. Da kann man mal eine Spielposition eingehen.

Pancontinental Oil & Gas NL (“Pancontinental”) announces that the Mbawa-1 exploration well in
the L8 licence area offshore Kenya has reached a final total depth of 3,151 metres below the
drill floor.
As announced, the Mbawa-1 well encountered approximately 52 metres (~170 feet) of net gas
pay in porous Cretaceous sandstones in the primary target.
At the level of the deeper secondary target the well did not contain hydrocarbons at this location.
Pancontinental will provide more information on the potential of the deeper play in due course.
The operator is currently running wireline logs. On conclusion of this work the well will be
plugged as originally planned, and as is usual for an exploration well of this kind.
Pancontinental is very pleased with outcome of the Mbawa-1 exploration well, which has made
a substantive hydrocarbon discovery.
Barry Rushworth, CEO and Director of Pancontinental said:
“We are delighted to have made a significant discovery with this first exploration well.
We are also delighted to be the first to prove the existence of a working hydrocarbon system
offshore Kenya.
The Kenya L8 Joint Venture partners will now analyse the well data and determine an exploration
plan for the next phase of exploration activities.
Mbawa-1, our first exploration well, has unlocked the door to the oil and gas potential offshore
Kenya, and Pancontinental has secured a major position in our four project areas”.

Personally I think its criminal, and they should be investigated, they would have known damm well whether it was commercial or not, and just happened to miss that part of the announcement out. I'm sure the right people managed to exit without pain.

Hat sich eigentlich fundamental irgendetwas zum Negativen veraendert? OK, wir haben (noch) kein Oel gefunden, dafuer aber Gas. Also: vor der Bohrung hatten wir weder Oel noch Gas, jetzt haben wir Gas. Alle anderen Projekte stehen noch aus. Das war erst der 1. Streich. Koennte mir vorstellen, dass die Kaeufer bald wiederkommen - vielleicht schon morgen.
