Neueste Gerüchteküche aus World Stocks:
Hi everyone,
I've decided to register on here, to offer some advice to everyone thinking this is a duster!!!
Both these wells are not a duster.
Eits is employed by the JV to feed everyone information to delay the announcement,
until at least the 28th aug, when the new president in sworn into office, NOT the 22nd
Like everyone seems to believe!!
Pete is flying out next weekend for the big announcement.
We have only have one more full week of this madness but please hold out,
Otherwise it will be the biggest regret of your life!!!
Jack!

Etwas zur somalischen Innenpolitik und damit HRN:
@Resources: No offence, überlese den Artikel einfach . Was die Situation um HRN angeht sehe ich das ganz ähnlich. Aber da ist vieles so schlecht, das geht m.E. nicht ungewollt - macht die Situation für uns aber nicht besser .

Somalia: Credibility and Governance in Somalia

It is indeed the hope of the Somali people that rebels, warlords and Islamist militia are excluded from Somalia's new federal parliament.
With Aug. 20 only a few days away, it is becoming increasingly clear that the much anticipated and final political benchmarks of the Roadmap for End of Transition Process will not be met exactly on time. What remains is the finalization of the list of 275 MPs of Somalia's new Federal Parliament, elections for Speaker and Deputy Speakers, and President.

Is Africa Finally Settling Down? (AOIFF, MRO)
Long after the Chinese have Invested; Competitors Begin to Move in…

A recent deal between AFRICA OIL CORP (PINK:AOIFF) and Marathon Oil Corporation (NYSE:MRO) may have been a bigger signal than two oil companies partnering-up: Africa could finally be settling down.
Last evening I saw a report on BBC News about entrepreneurs renovating housing and starting new housing builds on the coastline of Somalia; more specifically in Mogadishu.
I could hardly believe my eyes or ears. But the coastline is beautiful; pristine in fact and there were the carpenters swinging hammers and the masons pouring concrete…
The rebels have essentially abandoned the area to… democracy…
I think Africa is settling down; fewer and fewer dictators and warlords; even though conflicts like the one between Sudan and Southern Sudan may linger on for years, it is at least in a more hopeful mode than say; ten years ago.
The Chinese have been seriously buying copper and mineral rights in Africa for a decade as a hedge against Chinese ever-increasing population demands. As legitimate governments emerge I hope foreign companies work with them in tandem to relieve poverty and protect the environment: to ultimately create wealth and share its benefits with farmers, miners, and their communities. The Chinese got in with local governments by offering extensive highway projects.
With that geo-politically said, Africa Oil Corp. is a Canadian oil and gas company with assets in Kenya, Ethiopia and Mali as well as Puntland (Somalia) through its 45% equity interest in Horn Petroleum Corporation. AOIFF has a total gross land package in this prolific region in excess of 300,000 square kilometers.
On July 23 AOIFF said it had signed a definitive farmout agreement with Marathon Oil whereby Marathon Oil will acquire the rights to obtain an interest in two of Africa Oil's Kenyan exploration blocks.
Under the terms of the farmout agreement, Marathon Oil will acquire a 50% interest in Block 9 and a 15% interest in Block 12A, both in Kenya. Africa Oil will maintain operatorship in Block 9, but Marathon Oil has the right to assume operatorship if a commercial discovery is made.
Africa Oil and Marathon Oil have also agreed to jointly pursue exploration activities on an additional exploration area in Ethiopia. The above transactions are all subject to host country Government approvals.
In consideration for the assignment of these interests, Marathon Oil will pay Africa Oil an entry payment of $35 million which includes prior expenditures, and has agreed to fund Africa Oil's working interest share of future joint venture expenditures anticipated to be spent over the next three years up to a maximum of $43.5 million.
Africa Oil also announced the completion of an additional farmout transaction with Tullow. Under the Tullow farmout transaction, which has received Kenya government approval, Tullow paid Africa Oil $759,000 in consideration of past costs to acquire an additional 15% interest in Block 12A in Kenya.
Africa Oil also announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement with New Age (Africa Global Energy) Limited ("New Age") whereby New Age will acquire an additional 25% interest in Africa Oil's Blocks 7 & 8 in Ethiopia, together with operatorship of Blocks 7 & 8 and the Adigala Area. In consideration of the assignment of the interest New Age will pay to Africa Oil $1.5 million in consideration of past costs.
Shares of AOIFF are currently trading up, in the $9.13 range. The stock has a 52-week high of $11.
Things change; but beachfront holiday homes in property in Mogadishu? I sure didn’t see it coming…
I haven’t, don’t, and do not intend on holding any of the companies mentioned in this article.

Hallo zusammen,
Horn lässt mich also mit meinen Gedanken allein, nundenn, adios !!!!
