Naja, nüchterner nicht unbedingt. Der erste Teil hat wahrscheinlich nur noch nicht den immensen Impact auf den Aktienkurs. Im ersten Teil wird ja eine erste Indikation für die Conventional resource erwartet. In der nächsten News, die wohl im September kommt, werden wir schlauer sein, wie weit der HRZ thermal majurity sweetspot geht. Wenn hier eine recht große Ausweitung kommt - wovon PB und DW ja ausgehen, wenn man ihre Statements in Interviews verfolgt - dürfte es mit dem Aktienkurs schon eher abgehen

40.000USD pro acre würde bei 88 Energy einen Share-Preis von ca. 1,88 USD bedeuten. Das passt zur Aussage von Dave Wall, dass er mit dem Icewine Projekt einen 100 bis 200 Bagger sieht. Damals stand die Aktie bei 0,01 AUD....

Wie bereits erwähnt, das Potential ist gigantisch und die Reise bis zum möglichen Verkauf noch sehr lange. Auf dem Weg dorthin hat 88e viele kleine Zwischenschritte zu bewältigen, die jeweils den Kurs in die Höhe treiben können. Not saying we will reach any of them, but the potential to be many multiples in 2-3 years time is realistic IMO.
If we get these little ducks in a row, then DW's 200 bagger might be light on:
- Decent Conventional traps identified at Ice1 (2.5D Seismics August)
- Acreage wide HRZ sweetspot confirmed and large conventional potential identified across the acreage (starting with 2D seismic report in Sept)
- PB talks up the Oilyness of the acreage at the Alaska O&G Conference (September)
- IRR closer to PB's numbers of >3Bil recoverable (October)
- Farm out before Ice2H (now to December)
- Superhighways confirmed with Hybrid Flowrates between unconventional and conventional flows (Ice2H April 2017)
- 88E rejects any takeover offers before 2018
- POO sustainably goes over $70 and has potential to go $100 or more (in 2018/19)
- USD strengthens to <65AUD (in 2017/18/19)
- Combined Unconventional and Conventional Recoverable IRR >4Billion (2017)
- Bidding war for takeover pushes price to upper levels of fair and reasonable valuations (2018/19)
Not saying any of this will happen, but if we start to tick off a few....... the SP will have huge incremental rerates with each one
Then tick more or all of them off to line the ducks up perfectly.......
That's "Icing the Cake" and "Creaming the Curve" which will make PB's "Everest"

Und hier dürfte - unterfüttert mit den Seismicnews - die Resourcenschätzung nach oben gehen in Richtung 3,4Mrd Barrels. Die Zahl hatte Paul Basinski ja als interne Resourcenschätzung ausgegeben, der letzte Independent Bericht lag bei 1,6 glaub ich.
Und nur falls hier jemand liest der 88 E schnell abtun will: Paul Basinski war maßgeblich an der Entwicklung des Eagle Ford Shale Feldes beteiligt! Der weiß was er tut und Anfang 2016 sagte er auf der Investorenkonferenz in London:
"Eagle Ford war ein Riesenerfolg, aber Icewine wird mein Everest!"

Normally SP rises are weak during July/Aug so this strong rise over the last week and month is unexpected on that basis alone, but welcome nonetheless.
Plus, Crude Oil has dropped from its $50+ to $43-ish, not helping 88E SP.
This rise is clearly based on the expected RNS sometime very soon, quite possibly Monday morning relating to positive info derived from Seismic Data.
All Long Investors clearly believe (correctly) that the SP is grossly undervalued based on an MC of £75m/£85m ATM. This compares to an assets value of many many $billions. If the SP were 4p today, the MC is still grossly undervalued compared to recoverable oil value.
Other RNS News that could hit the deck almost any time is some confirmation on:
* Icewine #2H getting moving on-site which leads to the all-important oil extraction Flow Rate figure, plus
* some sort of early JV assistance to allay fears of cash shortfall
Shareholders need to realise that although cash-in-hand will support 88E through most, if not all, of Icewine #2H, the company cannot arrive at a period during Q1/Q2 2017 when it has run out of cash.
88E has always been successful with field work and meeting tight timescales within tight budgets, and Icewine #2H is certain to meet these criteria. It is a massively important and exciting project. On that basis, plus knowledge of the assets underground, an SP of 6p by end 2016 is suppportable.
Just some thoughts. Perhaps some of the Short Term investors could consider becoming a bit longer term on 88E for a while, there are few AIM companies with such strong fundamentals worth investing in by comparison.
