WIRE)--Aug. 4, 1999--LHS Group Inc. (NASDAQ: LHSG)(Neuer Markt:
LHI) today announced that LHS Priority Call Inc., a leading provider of
open, distributed telecommunications solutions has been named by Deloitte
& Touche as one of New England`s "Fast 50" companies. Priority Call, Inc.
qualified for inclusion in the 1999 New England Technology Fast 50 as a
result of its rapid growth over the last four years, prior to its acquisition by
LHS Group in June 1999.
Co-sponsored by the professional service firms of Deloitte & Touche LLP
and Hale and Dorr LLP, the 1999 New England Technology Fast 50
program is an annual ranking of the area`s top technology companies based
on percentage growth in revenues from 1994 to 1998. To be considered for
the Fast 50, companies must have been in business for a minimum of five
years, achieved 1994 revenues of at least $50,000, and have a corporate
focus in high-technology.
LHS Priority Call develops platforms that enable wireline, wireless, and IP
providers to offer enhanced services to subscribers. Through the company`s
ORYX(R) service node, customers such as Cable & Wireless, AT&T, and
Premiere Technologies can offer leading edge communications services
including prepaid/postpaid calling, "follow-me" call forwarding, and unified
messaging.
