Hallo!

Heutiger Einbruch bei Ballard Power mit bis zu minus 10% in USA!

Ich habe da eine etwas kühne Vermutung. Könnte da eine
Übernahme durch Daimler-Chrysler ins Haus stehen und der
Kurs künstlich gedrückt werden oder verabschieden sich
(bereits etwas ahnend) andere in Ballard investierte
Autokonzerne?
Wer hat eine Meinung hierzu?

Noch ein kleiner Zusatz:

Mit GM, die jetzt selbst Brennstoffzellen auf den Markt
bringen werden, ist ein ernstzunehmender Konkurent
aufgetaucht. Ich schätze mal, dass Daimler-Chrysler sich
nicht die Blöße geben wird, wenn sie zugeben müssen, dass
ihre Brennstoffzellen von einer externen Firma entwickelt
und von dort gekauft werden müssen.

Na, hat immer noch keiner eine Meinung hierzu?

Der Druck hat auf Ballard hat mit der Ankündigung von GM,
selbst Brennstoffzellen herstellen zu wollen, eingesetzt,
und scheint nicht enden zu wollen.
Und jetzt diese völlig haltlose unbegründete (siehe Thread "Brennstoffzellensektor vor dem Zusammenbruch Teil2)
Abstufung dieses Analysten. Die hat er genau zum richtigen
Zeitpunkt plaziert und in diesem katastophalen Umfeld die
gewünschte Panikreaktion herbeigeführt.

Die Aufkäufer sollte man mal genauer unter die Lupe nehmen!

Stimmt es das 2003 in Island die ersten serienreifen Brennstoffzellen getriebenen Nahverkehrsbusse von Daimler-Chrysler eingesetzt werden???

könntest mit der Vermutung recht haben.
Daimler hat genug Kohle um den Kurs zu drücken. Am
Ende bekommen sie dann Ballard super billig

Immer wieder tauchen Jahreszahlen auf die einfach nicht stimmen.

Im Rahmen des Europäischen Busprogramms wird XCELLSIS bis 2003 rund 30 Stadtbusse vom Typ Mercedes-Benz Citaro mit Brennstoffzellensystemen ausstatten. In folgenden europäischen Städten werden die Brennstoffzellenbusse von den Verkehrsbetrieben im Praxistest eingesetzt: Amsterdam (Niederlande), Barcelona (Spanien), Hamburg (Deutschland), London (Großbritannien), Luxemburg, Porto (Portugal), Stockholm (Schweden), Stuttgart (Deutschland) und Reykjavic (Island).

San Diego, CA - 2. Februar 2001 - Die Vorbereitungen für die Kleinserien-Produktion und Montage der Brennstoffzellenantriebssysteme für DaimlerChrysler und Ford sind getroffen: XCELLSIS San Diego hat ein neues, 5000 qm großes Verwaltungs- und Fertigungsgebäude bezogen.

"Der Einzug in das neue Gebäude ist der erste wichtige Schritt des Unternehmens vom Prototypenbau zur Kleinserienproduktion" sagt Rick Cooper, Geschäftsführer von XCELLSIS San Diego. "Unsere Kunden haben sich verpflichtet, im Jahr 2004 die ersten Kleinserien brennstoffzellenangetriebener Fahrzeuge auf den Markt zu bringen und wir wollen die Brennstoffzellentechnologie bis dahin so optimieren, daß unsere Kunden dieses Ziel mit uns erreichen."

DIE SERIENREIFE IST MIT DEM JAHR 2004 ERREICHT
(sicherlich stellt man zu diesem Zeitpunkt keine Millionen Antriebe her, aber da geht`s los und wenn Toyota oder GM meinen es wird 2010 bis zur Serienreife, wärs kein Wunder, sind die Schlafmützen doch erst jetzt wach geworden und angagieren sich plötzlich verstärkt um die BZ Technik).

Lasst Euch doch von den vielen Aussagen sogenannter Profis, Fondmanager oder anderer Siebengescheiter nicht aus der Ruhe bringen, informiert euch selbst !, bildet euch eure eigene Meinung.

Jo ganz meiner Meinung.Ich kaufe zur
Zeit auch nach.Die werden schneller kommen wie
alle denke ist immer so denkt nur an den
Wettbewerb und dann sind die Fonds und Instis
schon drinnen und der Krus wird sich mindestens
verdoppeln.

Ballard and GPU Expand Strategic Relationship

Vancouver, Canada and Morristown, New Jersey - Ballard Power Systems and GPU, Inc. announced today that their respective subsidiaries, Ballard Generation Systems (BGS) and GPU Diversified Holdings LLC have restructured their relationship to allow for increased focus on the market and distribution aspects of commercializing fuel cell products for stationary applications.
In anticipation of the launching of commercial stationary power generators by 2003, BGS has also appointed GPU as a non-exclusive distributor of Ballard stationary fuel cell power generators in the Northeast and North Central United States. GPU plans to market BALLARD® fuel cell stationary power generators to both residential and commercial consumers of distributed generation resources. In addition, GPU Diversified Holdings will exchange its shares in BGS in return for Ballard Power Systems stock. Ballard Power Systems will receive GPU´s 12.6% interest in Ballard Generation Systems in return for issuing GPU 1,366,063 Common shares in Ballard Power Systems for a total value of US $29.7 million (based upon the closing price on August 22, 2001 on the Nasdaq).

We have worked well together over the past five years to understand the market requirements for fuel cell products. The time is now right to move that relationship from a partner in product development, to a partner in accessing the market for our products," said Jim Kirsch, President of Ballard Generation Systems. "We believe that building on the successful working relationship between GPU and Ballard will be a key part of bringing commercial BALLARD® fuel cell products to market."

Evtl vorgezogener Produktionsstart A-Klasse mit der Brennstoffzelle etc. Hat denn keiner eine Vermutung welche Bombe platzt könnte?

Daimler ist in bereits in bester Einkaufslaune:

FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) - Die DaimlerChrysler AG hat 30% der Anteile des australischen Autotechnologie-Unternehmens Bishop Technology Group Ltd. übernommen. Das gaben die Australier am Freitag bekannt. Über den Kaufpreis machte das nicht börsennotierte Unternehmen keine Angaben.
Bishop ist auf die Entwicklung von Automobiltechnologie spezialisiert. Das Unternehmen erwirtschaftete im vergangenen Jahr einen Umsatz von 45 Mio. australische Dollar (26,14 Mio. Euro) und hält 350 Patente in 17 Ländern. Vom DaimlerChrysler-Engagement erhofft sich Bishop bessere Möglichkeiten zur Weiterentwicklung seiner Ingenieurstätigkeit auf den Gebieten Transport und Telekommunikation./km/rw/ar
