Universal Express kauft bis zu 9000 (!!!) Airtech Titan III

Symbol: AIRG

Universal Express -USXP- Signs Letter Of Intent with Airtech International Group -AIRG- to Provide Postal Stores with Air Purification Systems

      11/15/2001 10:49:00 AM
NEW YORK, Nov 15, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Universal Express, Inc. (USXP) today announced the signing of a Letter of Intent for the purchasing and distribution of up to 9,000 Airtech International Group Inc., (AIRG) Airtech Titan III air cleaning technology system to private postal stores nationwide.

The Airtech Titan III air cleaning technology system uses dual ultraviolet germicidal lights, 10,000 times the power of the sun, eradicate most airborne bacteria, viruses, mold, spore and fungi. Ultraviolet light has been used for years in hospitals and critical situations to kill bacteria, virus and other contaminants. Its benefits are proven and well known. The TITAN-III uses ultraviolet light in a dual role to destroy microorganisms and to activate the photocatalytic titanium dioxide catalyst. Tests demonstrate a cleaning rate of up to 92% of biological contaminants. New high-efficiency, high-capacity, low resistance particle filter partially removes bacteria and many other microscopic allergens and irritants.

"With the unfortunate anthrax attacks on United States Postal Buildings, and the death of postal workers, we have been looking for a cost-effective means of helping our PBC Members and their employees protect themselves from the potential exposure to anthrax. The Private Postal Industry is made up of approximately 15,000 stores nationwide. Unfortunately, they seem to have been forgotten in this tragedy. These stores handle large quantities of mail and packages every day. They sort mail for PO boxes in their stores, they send out bulk mails, etc. The Private Postal Store owners are at great risk in being exposed to anthrax along with other chemical and/or biological agents, and we are concerned that they have not been given the recognition that is needed to protect them as the United States Postal Services has been given", said Mr. Richard Altomare, CEO of USXP. He went on to state, "We will be making the Titan III air cleaning technology systems available to stores at a discounted rate from their normal retail pricing. A cost of $911.00 to signify the September 11th attacks on the United States has been established and undercuts most retail pricing by approximately $300.00 (less installation). We feel it is our obligation to do what we can to help our industry."

Airtech International Group, Inc. has positioned itself as one of the premier indoor air cleaning product manufacturing and consulting companies in the world. Since its incorporation in 1994 under the name Airtech International, Inc., the company has discovered and expanded into many, virtually untapped markets. The company`s ability to recognize needs and to design and manufacture products for specific industries in short periods of time continues to give the company a competitive edge. Today, Airtech consists of two divisions: manufacturing and distribution.

Universal (USXP) operates several other subsidiaries in logistics (Luggage Express) and International shipping (WorldPost). Its association of private postal stores (PBC) provides various support services and numerous other programs to its members.

Texas Independent School District to Install Airtech Technology

      11/19/2001 12:36:00 PM
DALLAS, Nov 19, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Airtech International Group, Inc., (AIRG) announced today Bland Independent School District in Merit, Texas has purchased and is installing Airtech`s air purification technology.

Bryan Clark, Superintendent of Schools, stated, "We have made it a District priority to enhance the quality of air in our schools for both students and teachers. We know that schools are four times more people intensive than the typical office building and that statistics show that there are more teachers and students suffering from asthma and severe allergies than ever before. I feel confident that the payback to our District will be many times the cost of the Airtech technology, and will come in the form of lower rates of absenteeism, increased State and Federal reimbursement for higher attendance, and a healthier, safer, and more productive educational environment for all. After having reviewed and tested all the competing brands of technology and systems to deal with microscopic airborne contamination and VOC`s, it is our belief that Airtech provides the best quality systems for our needs."

Bland Independent School District is comprised of Elementary, Middle, and Secondary schools. This is the first school district that has completed a full analysis and issued a purchase order to become pro-active about the indoor air quality issues in Texas. Though many other schools are looking and evaluating the indoor air quality issues in their own markets the list of options are limited as it relates to the solutions possible. Airtech is currently in discussions with a number of additional school districts.

According to Airtech President, Kirk Garfield, "It is well documented by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that a number of schools across the United States suffer from indoor air quality problems ranging from molds and mildew to a variety of forms of airborne chemicals, bacteria and viruses. Medical Science, documents that the developing bodies of children are especially vulnerable to poor indoor air quality conditions. We believe that Airtech`s multi-phase air cleaning technology can substantially reduce students and teachers exposure to such contaminants. In addition to schools themselves, Airtech is targeting major school development operations including engineering, architectural, construction, and heating and ventilation (HVAC) companies for the purpose of familiarizing them with Airtech technology."

Airtech National Account Manager, Darrell Moore stated, "This order represents the first steps in capturing this multi-million dollar market. We are involved in various stages from analysis, testing and installation with other school districts and are excited to be able to introduce and install our technology with the ability to provide the students and faculty respiratory relief from airborne VOC`s, fungi, bacteria and potentially threatening diseases."

      Airtech CEO Issues 2002 Statement

      2/1/2002 5:29:00 PM

DALLAS, Feb 1, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- I will briefly describe the industry in which Airtech International Group, Inc. (AIRG) operates, and a number of reasons why our future is so exciting.

First, the management of Airtech has recently announced the signing of an agreement forming a Joint Venture with BioSecure, Corp. This Joint Venture, called AirSecure, LLC will market air cleaning technology and equipment manufactured by Airtech and sold to the venture. BioSecure will provide the Joint Venture with working capital and serve as the managing partner. Airtech will own a 49.9% equity interest in the new venture. The venture will sell Airtech, BioSecure and other company`s products primarily into the biohazard protection industry. The venture intends to assemble an impressive array of products for this market, through licensing, merger and acquisitions. Airtech sees this segment as a potential leader in sales of our equipment and our partners as potential leaders in marketing the synergy of the group`s solutions.

Secondly, BioSecure`s principal shareholder, NewBridge Capital, Inc., plans to provide up to $4.6 million to Airtech for purposes of short and long term debt reduction, and an additional Letter of Credit of up to $5 million for additional operational requirements. In return, BioSecure, Corp. will receive preferred stock in Airtech.

The intention of this overall transaction, is to leave Airtech virtually debt free, and fully capitalized to optimize its marketing and sales potential, and pursue product research and development in an explosive growth oriented indoor air quality marketplace.

Third, Airtech researches and manufactures cutting edge air cleaning technology for homes and commercial buildings of virtually every type and size. Our technology can be modified to specific contaminate removal and size of structure. We have been in this business since 1994. Our products have been improved numerous times since their introduction. We are market oriented and consumer aware in product development.

Fourth, the indoor air quality (IAQ) industry is huge and growing rapidly in importance on a worldwide basis. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates the air purification market to be over $2 billion in annual sales in the United States alone. The international outlook is even brighter, many countries are years ahead of the US in requirements for clean indoor air. The market forces driving the indoor air quality industry are staggering in proportion: They include:

-- Homes and buildings in general often contain air that is 5 to 100 times dirtier than outside air. -- The EPA estimates that as many as 40% of commercial buildings such as office buildings, schools and hospitals suffer from "sick building syndrome". -- Medical experts estimate that one in three deaths occur due to chronic upper respiratory disease. -- The incidence of asthma has skyrocketed in many nations around the world, including the U.S. -- The tobacco industry is fighting a worldwide war with non-smoking factions intent on eliminating tobacco smoking in public areas throughout the world. -- Plaintiff Lawyers see the protection of the individual in indoor environments as the next mass tort industry.
The frank reality is that the majority of homes and commercial buildings are ill-equipped to handle indoor air problems. The good news is that Airtech has demonstrated product solutions to deal with all of these issues.

Fifth, Airtech`s technology is becoming the "gold standard", to which all other IAQ technology is compared. Our technology is easily retrofitted into existing homes and buildings, and for the first time makes it possible to transform virtually any heating and cooling system into a highly effective air cleaning unit that eliminates most airborne bacteria, viruses, chemical fumes, odors and particles.

Lastly, Airtech`s recent licensing of the biocidal agent, Akacid is a vitally important addition to our existing technology. Akacid will allow Airtech to profitably participate in a large number of vertical markets relative to the destruction of surface destruction of biologicals, in addition to enhancing our air cleaning technology. Hospitals, schools, office buildings and a variety of other buildings are concerned with the presence of airborne and surface biologicals in the form of bacteria, viruses, fungi and molds. Akacid is highly effective against 334 species of bacterium, virus, fungi and related spores. Exhaustive testing performed by the manufacturer of Akacid shows that it is effective against a large variety of airborne biologicals.

The events of September 11th have forever changed the priority with which indoor air problems are treated in commercial buildings. These events have created an enormous potential market among building owners who are now fearful that their buildings will be the target of terrorist attacks through the use of airborne chemical or biological agents. Airtech`s highly versatile photocatalytic oxidation based, multi-phased air cleaning technology represents one of the most comprehensive solutions to such potential problems. For this reason, we are aggressively exploring the application of our technology with some of the highest levels of United States military research.

Our immediate priorities are to rapidly expand product distribution through joint ventures with major contractors and other parties operating in the commercial building (office buildings, schools, hospitals etc.) and home industries. The management of Airtech is pursuing joint ventures with building management associations, heating and cooling equipment manufacturers, engineering firms, and many other businesses that would benefit from our products.

Management believes that Airtech`s existing and planned product development should make it a prime candidate to participate in high level indoor air quality research projects with a principal focus on biological and chemical terrorist activities.

Additionally, we believe that Airtech`s products are the leading solution in the tobacco industry`s desire to allow smokers and non-smokers to co-exist. We believe that our products should be mission critical to their corporate objectives.

Airtech will also continue to place a heavy emphasis on expanding our presence in the rapidly developing markets of the Pacific Rim. Our Master Distributor, Aurora Technologies, Inc. (DBA Airsopure Asia) has projected revenue of US$1.5 million of indoor air quality product sales during the next twelve months. They now have two new distributors under contract with Airsopure Asia to market Airtech products in Taiwan. The Airsopure Asia distributor in Hong Kong has made substantial progress, including the signing of new customers such as the Hong Kong Airport and Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation.

We are very excited about the current and future opportunities for Airtech`s products in the worldwide marketplace. Exercising a focused and disciplined approach to the distribution of our products will be the key to achieving our financial objectives.

AirSecure to Establish Interim Task Force to Respond to New Terrorism Threats, and Draft Recommendations to the Office of Homeland Security
Company Hopes to Expand Its Range of Services for Multi-Billion Dollar Bio-Terrorism and Homeland Security Industry
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- AirSecure, LLC a joint venture between Airsopure Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Airtech International Group Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: AIRG - news), and BioSecure Corp., (OTC Bulletin Board: BSUR - news), announced today that they have formed a task force consisting of executives of members of Tactical Fusion Group, Inc., BioSecure, Airtech and other Homeland Security-related service and product providers to discuss strategies for 2002 and draft a proposal to be submitted to the Office of Homeland Security next week.

AirSecure recently announced a Letter of Intent to acquire Tactical Fusion Group (TFG) to help the company become a leading security services provider in what is expected to become a multi-billion dollar Bio-Terrorism and Homeland Security industry. The Company said its group intends to meet and finalize details of the roles and responsibilities of their Joint Venture, as well as pursuing the integration of TFG, and drafting the Homeland Security proposal.

AirSecure`s mission was recently the focus of the recent National HVACR Systems Security meeting, which was hosted by The News and the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA). The meeting brought together a panel of experts in the fields of indoor air quality and building security. Program speaker, Tom Jackson, attorney stated, ``In a time when lawsuits run rampant and business owners` hearts skip a beat every time someone stumbles over a crack in the sidewalk key systems, such as HVACR are obvious areas of concern for building owners and managers, as well as the contractors who installed them. The possibility of acts of domestic terrorism has raised the stakes even higher.``

The task force hopes to present its proposal to Mr. Ken Stroech, Director of Weapons of Mass Destruction Programs for the White House Office of Homeland Security, who described, during a recent meeting, how the administration has formed an interagency work group to look at the issues of security and bioterrorism.

TFG is a company formed to provide assistance to the nation`s security and intelligence agencies in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of September 11th. TFG`s principals consist of a select group of U.S. defense and intelligence experts experienced in the fight against terrorism. As former Naval Attache Officers working for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), the founders` training qualifies them to provide a variety of services to help high-risk companies located in the US and abroad, and Anti-terrorist Task forces now being established by the Department of Homeland Security.

BioSecure is a publicly-held holding company engaged, through subsidiaries and company managed joint ventures, in the business of providing biotechnical and conventional personal safety and protection products and services. BioSecure products and services are offered to individual consumers, government institutions, schools and businesses, and are being designed and developed to address a wide range of personal security and protection risks, including those associated with day-to-day air quality issues to potential biohazardous accidents and terrorist attacks.

Airtech is a publicly-held company engaged in air purification product manufacturing and distribution prior to the formation of AirSecure. Airtech`s products were sold through wholly-owned franchise network, sponsored by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Airsopure, Inc., as well as their HVAC contractors, commercial dealers, and direct sales organization. Airtech`s distribution channels cover domestic US and international sales. Airtech`s products are based upon technology that removes up to 99% of most indoor air contaminants, utilizing multi-tiered purification technology systems for: schools, hotels, restaurants, office buildings, medical establishments, homes, and automobiles.

AirSecure, a joint venture between Airtech and BioSecure, which has finalized its funding and the transaction with Airsopure, intends to market air cleaning technology and equipment manufactured by Airtech. BioSecure intends to provide the joint venture with working capital and serve as its managing partner. Airtech owns 49% equity interest and BioSecure owns 51% in AirSecure, LLC. AirSecure intends to assemble an array of products for this market, through licensing, merger and acquisitions.

AirSecure LLC Completes Conference on Homeland Security: Realignment Of Functions, Products, Services and Duties of Airtech and Partners To Match Recommendation to Office of Homeland Security
Airtech International Group Inc. and AirSecure LLC to Relocate As Part of Realignment
DALLAS, March 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirSecure LLC, a joint venture between Airtech International Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AIRG - news; www.airtechgroup.com ) and BioSecure Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BSUR - news; www.BioSecurecorp.com ), today announced that it has delivered its recommendations to the Office of Homeland Security. In connection with its recommendations, Airtech said it will also be effecting some internal restructuring, including the relocation of its principal office to California.

The company said today that it intends to relocate its corporate offices to 4695 McArthur Court, Suite 1450, Newport Beach, CA, 92660, telephone: 949.475.6755, facsimile: 949.833.7854 effective March 8, 2002. As part of the re-alignment AirSecure LLC is establishing its corporate offices at 14800 Landmark Blvd., Suite 200, Dallas, TX, 75254, telephone: 972.490.8400, facsimile: 972.733.1219, www.airsecure.net .

According to R. John Harris, Chairman/CEO of Airtech, ``This restructuring plan is part of our plan to streamline our manufacturing and related sales and marketing, and begin focusing on the service-sector of the Homeland Security market. Airtech will no longer simply be a manufacturing company: it is now evolving into a solutions developer and provider of air quality issues ranging from the everyday commercial pollutants to the accidental or intentional/terrorist release of airborne biological or chemical agents into the commercial infrastructure both at home and abroad. As a result, following its move to California the Company will operate as a holding company with its new subsidiaries and joint venture, providing products and services directly with all manufacturing and assembly being outsourced.

In conjunction with BioSecure we believe that AirSecure has a strategic plan to effectively address the deliberate dissemination of biological or chemical agents. The plan contains recommendations to reduce US vulnerability to biological and chemical terrorism. Terrorism-preparedness activities described in AirSecure`s recommendations include key points concerning preparedness planning, detection and surveillance, emergency response, and communication systems. Training and research are integral components for achieving these recommendations. Success of the plan hinges on strengthening the relationships between medical and public health professionals and on building new partnerships with emergency management, the military, and law enforcement professionals. Copies of this plan and its recommendations will be sent to the Office of Homeland Security, the CDC Strategic Planning Workgroup and various other governmental agencies. AirSecure cannot guarantee the success of this strategic plan.

As an example of individual State preparedness, in a statement published by Associated Press on March 1, 2002, Texas Gov. Rick Perry said: ``It will get nearly $60 million from federal agencies for bio-terrorism readiness, and an additional $8.3 million will come from Health Resources and Service Administration to help hospitals prepare for bio-terrorism incidents.`` The Homeland defense industry is expected to grow rapidly as a result of the Bush administration`s commitment to ``fast track-type funding,`` said Harris. ``We hope to position AirSecure at the front of the line for those funds already approved for allocation in the state of Texas.``

The joint venture efforts of AirSecure are the combined efforts of Tactical Fusion Group, BioSecure and Airtech.

Tactical Fusion Group (TFG) is a company formed to provide assistance to the nation`s security and intelligence agencies in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of September 11th.
