About us



LetsBuyIt.com is an exciting e-commerce company that was founded in Sweden in January 1999, launched its first co-buying website in April 1999 and was listed on the Neuer Markt in Frankfurt, Germany, in July 2000.

The company has some 110 full-time employees, approximately 1.3 million members and is currently represented in 4 European countries – Germany, UK, Sweden and France. Each country`s website is published in the local language and prices are quoted in the local currency. LetsBuyIt.com has its headquarters in Munich, Germany while the holding company, LetsBuyIt.com N.V., is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Our idea and vision
Co-buying is an old idea for a new generation of shoppers. The idea is engaging in its simplicity: Bring together a group of people who want the same product so as to gain negotiating and purchasing power. Co-buying is a similar idea to shopping co-operatives, but we`ve taken this old and proven idea and brought it up to date on the Internet, offering everything from kitchen appliances to home entertainment systems. Members of LetsBuyIt.com are able to request merchandise and services, which LetsBuyIt.com then secures on preferential terms from suppliers and manufacturers.

Our business is based on an innovative, simple and secure way to shop online called co-buying (collective buying).

Co-buying at LetsBuyIt.com is member-driven. We make it easy for our members to come together online to benefit from collective purchasing power. Our members can also influence what we offer. If enough members suggest a product, it will be offered as a co-buy.

Not only is our co-buying service offered on our own fun and engaging website, it is also available via other online communities hosted by Internet service providers and on company websites and intranets.

Agency co-buys
Our co-buys are offered in partnership with another company (a "service provider "). LetsBuyIt.com is not the seller of the product or service, but acts as an agent for the service provider. LetsBuyIt.com is responsible for the co-buy while it is active on this website. The service provider assumes all responsibility when the co-buy closes. You pay nothing to LetsBuyIt.com.
