hallo zusammen,

melde mich nach langer Abstinenz zurück. Aber bei der Marktentwicklung kann ja keiner widerstehen...

Börse Online macht jetzt ganz groß auf Prokom Software (06/2002 - S.30/31). Noch nie was von der Firma gehört. Webpage ist zudem auch noch in Polnisch. Kennt jemand die Firma? Die haben die Aktie sogar als Spezialwert aufgenommen.

Würde mich über eine Einschätzung freuen. Verspreche auch, dass ich dann meine eigene - die ich mir noch erarbeite - hier zum Besten gebe.

Poland`s leading tech firm Prokom Software agreed to buy a majority stake in telecom-focused IT firm Spin because of the latter`s exclusive billing with contract with Polish telecom incumbent TPSA and its strong earnings growth. "In line with previous announcements we are using some of the funds raised through bond issues for the consolidation of the IT market around Prokom Software. We are interested in having shareholdings in companies serving particular segments of the market that have high growth potential," Prokom CEO Ryszars Krauze said in a prepared statement released Friday. Prokom raised PLN 200 mln in a convertible-bond issue late last year. Prokom agreed to take an eventual 51.11% stake in Spin for a total of PLN 135 mln in a deal announced Thursday. Spin specializes in IT solutions for telecoms operators, but the jewel in its crown is the billing systems it provides for TPSA. The company recently signed PLN 160 mln worth of deals to expand its Serat2 billing system and maintain and develop it. Serat2, which currently services 60% of TPSA`s individual clients, was chosen to be the exclusive billing system for individual customers of TPSA. Spin also has a good position in providing tech solutions for the health-care sector. Its acquisition will enforce Prokom`s position by bolstering its range of own products in the healthcare sector, where Prokom will be able to compete more successfully with its rival ComputerLand, ING investment adviser Benita Mikolajewicz told Interfax Thursday. Spin reported sales revenues of PLN 37 mln and a net profit of PLN 6.6 mln in 2000. The 2001 guidance sees revenues at PLN 78 mln, which would mark strong growth of 53%, and a net profit of PLN 19 mln-20 mln, growth nearing 70%. Prokom said Spin`s strong financial results were among the key criteria for acquiring Spin, but its exclusivity in providing TPSA`s individual billing services was the deciding factor, according to Krauze. The Prokom CEO also said an initial public offering of Spin shares would be looked in to, but before such a step Prokom would have to make progress in consolidation of its group. Prokom and Spin have already cooperated in several projects, taking advantages of synergies between Prokom`s know-how as a large IT systems integrator and Spin`s specialization in the telecom and healthcare sectors.
