      Nortel Networks hat für das erste Quartal insgesamt Aufträge von fast einer Mrd. US-Dollar für den Mobilfunknetzbereich gemeldet. Einen Teil der Aufträge erhält Nortel von mm02, mit der zu einer bisherigen Vereinbarung ein neues Abkommen geschlossen wurde.

      Bestandteil dieses Abkommen ist die Bereitstellung von 2,5 G/GRPS Core-Netzen, die Lieferung von 3G/UMTS Core-Netzen und GSM-Lösungen für den Mobilfunkanbieter.
