(OTC Bulletin Board: AUTQ - News), a leading provider of vehicle tracking and monitoring systems for trucking fleets and consumers, announced today that it has received purchase orders totaling $150,000 for the installation of its FleetTrak Tracking System on 225 Walkers (Snacks) Distribution Ltd. Vehicles.

The customer, Walkers (Snacks) Distributions Ltd, a UK subsidiary of Pepsi Cola Corporation in the U.S., has a large trucking fleet to distribute its snack foods products. Vehicle monitoring specialist Auto-Q has developed FleetTrak, a vehicle tracking system which uses a combination of GPS technology and GSM signaling to provide intimate management reports on every vehicle in the fleet, continuously and in real time.
FleetTrak has been developed in close collaboration with Walkers (Snacks) Distribution Ltd. The company has installed the system on 225 vehicles and reports fuel savings in the region of five per cent -- a huge payback on such a large fleet.
Walkers (Snacks) Distribution`s chief concerns are fuel consumption and accident reduction, which it is now better able to monitor. The benefits of the FleetTrak System to the operator include an immediate payback of a 5-10% fuel saving across a typical mixed fleet, along with longer vehicle life and lower maintenance. But the payoff goes way beyond mere economics. The system provides the operator with a safeguard against the kind of heavy-footed, impatient driving that can lead to anything from a speeding ticket to a corporate manslaughter charge.
Data transmitted from the cab via a `black box` enables the operator to monitor position, direction, speed, fuel flow, engine speed and braking, painting a complete picture of what the vehicle is doing and how it is being driven. The data can be used to compile regular vehicle management reports, revealing how both vehicle and driver are performing. At a glance the transport manager can see who`s getting heavy with the throttle or leaning on the brakes and how often speed limits are broken or engines over-revved. An optional in-cab monitor enables the drivers to use the data themselves to improve their driving. Geofencing, a development of GPS, alerts the operator to any anomalous vehicle movements such as deviations from the route or late arrivals. An alarm is generated each time something irregular happens, so managers do not have to keep constant watch.
The system has been so well accepted by management and drivers alike that drivers now compete for regular performance prizes based on the data from FleetTrak.

Auto-Q International Inc. completed the second quarter of business by selling the assets and goodwill of its main UK operating subsidiary Auto-Q International Limited to another subsidiary Auto-Q Solutions Limited. Subsequently Auto-Q International limited was liquidated. Under UK law the sale of the assets and goodwill had the effect of forgiving all of the debts of Auto-Q International Limited amounting to $1,875,033 whilst maintaining the operations of the business.
Consequently the Balance Sheet of Auto-Q International Inc was improved with the stockholders` deficit in the quarter being reduced by $1,223,644 to $540,548. Net income per share improved to $0.03 which is up significantly from a net loss of $0.01 per share which was reported for the first quarter.
Total revenues were $121,740 for the second quarter of fiscal 2003, compared with total revenues of $179,281 for the second quarter of fiscal 2002. The company reported a net income of $1,213,030 for the 2003 second quarter compared with a net loss of $183,394 for the 2002 second quarter, the 2003 total includes a non-recurring gain on forgiveness of debt of $1,875,033 and write downs of intangible and fixed assets of $210,751.
For the first six months of fiscal 2003, total revenues were $408,122, compared with total revenue of $738,519 for the fiscal 2002 first six months. The company reported a net income of $765,004 for the fiscal 2003 first six months compared with a net loss of $137,508 for the comparable period a year ago, including a non-recurring gain on forgiveness of debt of $1,875,033 and write downs of intangible and fixed assets of $210,751.

Das die Umsätze extrem gefallen sind, ist mir schon klar. Deswegen hab ich doch nach Dir gerufen. Aufgrund der letzten news sehe ich allerdings die Möglicgkeit, dass sich die Umsatzsituation bei Auto Q in den kommenden Quartalen erheblich verbessert.
Das System lernt gerade beim Kunden das Laufen und ich hoffe doch stark auf weitere Kunden in naher Zukunft. 20ct in vier Wochen?

ich nehme mal an, ein scherz; was bedeutet bloß dieser smiley . schließlich ist es völlig egal ob PR oder 10Q, in beiden steht 3cent EPS+ 1,875 mio items...
das mit den unregelmäßigen umsätzen ist mir auch aufgefallen, allerdings ist meine hoffnung da nicht sehr groß, daß sich da bilanztechnisch riesige unterschiede ergeben, im quartal davor gab´s ja 290K revs, aber der verlust betrug auch dort 450K. die neuen 400K revs "mainly before the end of july" verteilen sich ja auch wieder auf zwei quartale. also da müßten schon einige neue orders bekanntgegeben werden und nicht nur die jetzigen 6 neuen retrospektiv bzw. bei fertigstellung/auslieferung.
zudem scheinen die 6 orders nicht auf einen plötzlichen anstieg der nachfrage hinzudeuten, sondern:

cash deshalb auch nur 31K, aber ist ja OTCtypisch, also eher unwichtig
also, wenn die nicht gerade eine PRflood machen und die pennytrader drauf anspringen, würd ich´s nicht kaufen. mit der PR am 26.6. hat´s ja noch nicht geklappt, nur 230K shares und minus am tagesende...
