Verstärkt auf Edelmetalle setzen.
Warum?? Hier meine Vermutung:
gehen.

Commercial and Non-commercial Traders – When an individual reportable trader is identified to the Commission, the trader is classified either as "commercial" or "non-commercial." All of a trader`s reported futures positions in a commodity are classified as commercial if the trader uses futures contracts in that particular commodity for hedging as defined in the Commission`s regulations (1.3(z)). A trading entity generally gets classified as a "commercial" by filing a statement with the Commission (on CFTC Form 40) that it is commercially "…engaged in business activities hedged by the use of the futures or option markets." In order to ensure that traders are classified with accuracy and consistency, the Commission staff may exercise judgment in re-classifying a trader if it has additional information about the trader’s use of the markets.
A trader may be classified as a commercial in some commodities and as a non-commercial in other commodities. A single trading entity cannot be classified as both a commercial and non-commercial in the same commodity. Nonetheless, a multi-functional organization that has more than one trading entity may have each trading entity classified separately in a commodity. For example, a financial organization trading in financial futures may have a banking entity whose positions are classified as commercial and have a separate money-management entity whose positions are classified as non-commercial.

Währungskrise in Argentinien abzusichern.
Wirtschaftsgeschichte ist wichtig
aber auch massenpsychologisches Verhalten
muss man irgendwie verstehen.
In Krisenzeiten

keepitshort,
1. die hunts waren long.

U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow, traveling in Europe, reiterated Wednesday that a "strong dollar" policy is in the interest of the U.S.
But "traders believe there is nothing from a fiscal point of view that can change the dollar`s decline in the near term, due to the trade deficit and spending deficits," said John Person, president of National Futures Advisory Service.
That concern, combined with investor doubt that a weekend meeting of top finance officials would produce a concerted policy to slow the greenback`s dive, fueled the dollar`s drop to a record low against the yen Wednesday. See Currencies.
"This is a very fertile environment for gold prices to appreciate," said Person, adding that he continues to believe prices will reach $475 by year`s end, 6.7 percent higher than its current level.
December gold climbed to a high of $445.40 an ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange before closing at $445.10, up $4.60 for the session. Prices haven`t closed at level this high since July 1988, according to weekly charts.
Dollar drive
One of the prevailing factors leading gold "remains the U.S. dollar weakness -- making gold less expensive in terms of buying countries currencies," said Frederic Panuzzutti, analyst at MKS Finance in Geneva.
"The ongoing geopolitical worries [and] the potential oil shortage this winter are other bull factors for gold," he said.
Taking all those matters into consideration, "it is likely that gold will reach higher levels before year end," with $450 apparently the "most imminent target," he said.
Over the past six months, prices have managed to gain $70 an ounce, or almost 19 percent, noted Dale Doelling, chief market commentator at Bullion.com in Chicago.
"It`s impossible to forecast when this trend will end, as the market continues to rack up new highs on an almost daily basis," he said. But "the legs on this bull remain strong."
Gold`s strength supported a broad climb in other metals futures Wednesday.
Silver at seven-month high
December silver rose 7.3 cents to close at $7.665 an ounce -- its loftiest level since April. December copper rose 4.15 cents to close at a five-week high of $1.4105 a pound.
Tracking inventories, copper supplies were down 221 short tons at 41,640 short tons as of late Tuesday, according to Nymex. Silver stocks were down 604,760 troy ounces at 101.6 million, while gold inventories stood at 5.35 million troy ounces, down 4,147 from the previous session.
Also Wednesday, the January platinum contract tacked on $6.70 to end the day at $875.60 an ounce. December palladium closed at $223 an ounce, up $1 for the session.
