Sah es vor einigen Wochen noch so aus, als wolle die CAMECO Aktie eine große Abwärtsbewegung starten, zeigen sich nun deutliche Bodenbildungstendenzen...

Rückblick: Die CAMECO Aktie befindet sich in einer langfristigen Aufwärtsbewegung. Im Juni 2007 markierte sie ein AllTimeHigh bei 56,00 $ und startete eine heftige Korrekturbewegung bis an die zentrale Kreuzunterstützung bei 32,00 $.

Dort stabilisierte sich die Aktie im Februar und kletterte wieder über 35,22 $. Mit der Verteidigung des wichtigen Unterstützungsbereichs bei 32,00 $ wurden weitere Kursverluste und damit ein größeres Verkaufsignal verhindert.

Mit der laufenden Erholung bildet die Aktie die Konturen einer bullischen, inversen SKS als Bodenformation aus, wobei die Nackenlinie mit dem EMA200 bei 40,14 $ zusammenfällt und somit den entscheidenden BUY Trigger darstellt.

Das Chartbild ist durchweg neutral zu werten.

Charttechnischer Ausblick: Die CAMECO Aktie könnte sich jetzt entscheidend stabilisieren und eine Bodenbildung vollziehen. Gelingt jetzt ein nachhaltiger Anstieg über das letzte Zwischenhoch bei 40,63 $, sollte es zu verstärkten Käufen kommen und die Aktie bis 47,54 und darüber 52,33 und 56,00 $ ansteigen.

Ein nachhaltiger Rückfall unter 35,00 $ hingegen würde das bullische Szenario hinfällig werden lassen und eine Abwärtskorrektur bis zum zentralen Unterstützungsbereich bei 32,00 $ ermöglichen

Cameco CEO: No uranium buyout too big

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Cameco Corp's (CCO.TO: Quote, Profile, Research) top executive said on Monday that the company is looking for acquisitions and that no deal in the uranium sector could be too large to be ruled out.

Cameco CEO Jerry Grandey, speaking at the Reuters Global Mining Summit in New York, said that the number of uranium companies has mushroomed over the last five years to around 400 publicly traded companies.

He said that only recently have market values of those companies dropped to a point where Cameco can return to the acquisition strategy it exercised in the late 1990's and early in this decade.

"We acquired lots of low cost properties in that period of time and then stepped out. Now it's becoming interesting again," he said.

Cameco is the world's biggest uranium producer.

Grandey said that any acquisition would have to be big enough to be material to the company and its production volume.

"On the high side, I look out there in the universe of what might be available, and I don't think that there's anything there that's impossible for Cameco," he said.
