DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Mr. Poulden is also Chairman of AIM-listed Sirius Exploration where his commitments have greatly increased the demands on his time.

Grant of Liberian Permits and Repayment of Minex Technologies Loan

The Board of Fundy Minerals Ltd ("Fundy" or "the Company"), the Canadian and West African
exploration company, is pleased to announce that Fundy has received the Liberian Mineral
Exploration License Permits over the Sehnkweh Cestos claim, an area of circa 1,000 sq. km.

As a result of this license process Fundy's exploration territory reduces by approximately 50%
from 2,000 sq km. This reduction is a normal occurrence/ transition from a Reconnaissance Permit
(first stage).

The new License Permits are granted for an initial 3 years and are subject to a potential 2 year
extension. Fundy is one of the first companies to be issued a permit since the moratorium was
imposed by the Liberian government.

Fundy is pleased to announce that it has also received full payment from Minex Technologies
(Minex) of the outstanding loan of CAD$433,179. The receipt of that payment completely satisfies
the terms of the loan.

Minex has also repaid the loan of £74,831.25, which was outstanding to World Mining Services;
Fundy's spin-off Company. This loan repayment completes the terms of the loan outstanding and WMS
will maintain a 10% equity stake in Minex.

Chairman Jeff Michel commented, "We are delighted to have secured these Liberian Exploration
License Permits. The territory holds a lot of exploration potential and the securing of these
licences is the culmination of a great deal of hard work by our professionals and management team.
We now look forward to further developing our exploration strategy at the Sehnkweh Cestos claim."

Fundy

Fundy was incorporated on 17 March 2004 by founders who have more than 50 years combined
geological experience, and is headquartered in New Brunswick (Canada). The Company is
actively involved in the exploration of gold, diamond and base metals in Canada and
Africa, and the development of mineral properties.

The Company has a 100% interest in eight mineral exploration and development properties in the
Province of New Brunswick. An independent assessment of six of the properties in New Brunswick
carried out in September 2006, found gold deposits in two of the properties and a deposit model
for one other area, whilst the three remaining properties reflected base metal deposits. All
Prospects generated encouraging confirmation of mineralised zones and strong assay results.
Additionally, the Company owns a high-grade limestone deposit in northern New Brunswick, which is
working towards production.

Fundy continues to explore the permitted area in Liberia, West Africa, where it has been confirmed
a significant quantity of gem quality alluvial diamonds have been extracted. Initial interest in
Liberia was the Cestos shear and Todi shear belt for possible gold mineralisation. In July 2005,
Fundy Minerals announced an alluvial diamond discovery in the southern area of Fundy Minerals'
permit. The Company has recently concentrated its efforts in an attempt to locate the Kimberlitic
source of these diamonds.


World Mining Services

World Mining Services Ltd. has been established primarily to own, operate and license technologies
that can be used in enhanced mineral extraction in the mining industry. WMS will also look to
invest in operations that are within the resources sector and relate to improved handling
techniques. WMS intends to act as a capital partner for refining plants using off-the-shelf
technology.

The company's main assets are as follows:
i) Afri-Pal: A 50% equity ownership in a company that employs a patented process that
briquettes poor quality coal for use in the residential and commercial market.
ii) Minex Technologies Limited: A 10% holding in a company which uses a proprietary vapour
process for metallic extraction.
iii) True North Drilling & Geological Services Ltd.: WMS owns a 100% of True North Drilling &
Geological Services Limited (True North). True North will provide drilling services and
geological services to the mining industry in New Brunswick.
WMS is keen to back projects that are close to commercialisation rather than purely early stage
ventures. The directors believe that this will provide WMS with well defined returns on
investment. WMS expects to enter into joint ventures with well qualified operators in their
respective jurisdictions.

WMS has made an application to have its shares listed on Plus Markets.
