Besten Dank für Deine wertvollen Gedankengänge zum Problem der Rezession.....übrigens ein sehr guter Vergleich mit der Windows-Neuinstallation....wobei man bei Bush gleich die ganze Festplatte formatieren sollte....

Ein wirkungsvoller Auffangeffekt durch China und Indien wird wohl erst bei der übernächsten Rezession eintreten. Zu beachten gilt allerdings schon, dass das BIP der beiden Länder zusammen in USD umgerechnet zwar schon noch kleiner ist als bei den USA, jedoch nach Kaufkraftparität gerechnet schon fast auf gleichem Niveau angelangt ist.

Beim Ausgehen der Lichter zünden wir uns Kerzen an....wir brauchen keine Festbeleuchtung.....kleine Lichter sind uns lieber als grosse Armleuchter...

Bei Globex lasse ich den Chart mal beiseite und halte mich an das Sprichwort des italenischen Politikers Fanfani:

Der letzte macht bekanntlich das Licht aus. Unglaublich wie man sich immer wieder alles schön reden kann.

Der Chart war schon vor einem halben Jahr verdächtig. Trotz immerwieder kräftiger Rebounds hat der Wert in Summe sehr stark verloren. Man muss oft erst Lehrgeld bezahlen bevor man die rosarote Brille ablegt.

Der gute Jack hat schon geantwortet. Er ist eben zu grundehrlich, eine tabellarische Finanzvorschau zu erstellen, weil sie von zu vielen Variablen abhängt, die er selber nicht beeinflussen kann. Die Vorschau im Juni hätte er auch nur auf hartnäckiges Drängen herausgegeben. Aber lest seine Kommentare selbst:

1)I do not control the activities of our partners therefore I do not
control the schedule.
2)I do not control the finances nor personnel of our partners so I have no
control over their ability to complete .
3)I do not control world metal prices which can as we have seen vary
greatly thus affecting our revenue.
4)I do not control government permitting processes and therefore can not
influence the timetable.
5)I do not control as far as options are concerned if they are renewed year
over year. For example our partner Noront's shares have gone up 10 fold to
$4.00?share following their copper-nickel discovery. Obviously the option
has gotten pricey for them as the next payment includes 300,000 shares.
Also the discovery has focused their interest on that property. I can't say
if they will renew or not.
6)I do not control equipment delivery.
7)Etc, etc,etc.
All this to say I am very uncomfortable making predictions of this sort. I
was pressured to do so last June and I regret it as metal prices have
reduced our revenue stream and therefore I was automatically incorrect in
my projections. No matter what I write it will be wrong so the question is
should I write it.
