In USA foren geht man in durchschnitt von kurszielen bis zu 20$ aus, wenn ordentlich volumen wieder fließt, gar nicht mal unrealistisch bei nur 3,4 Mio Shares!
VSNT does have low float but the comparison you are making is pretty silly. The other company announced a major deal which pushed it into a breakout. The notion that the big guys look for low float that they then push around on news is somewhat ludicrous.
On a more rational note, it does seem that VSNT is getting it`s act together. The new CEO is doing some hard things, things that the previous management didn`t have the cajones to do. Hopefully, this will pay off but they do need to sell the product (or sell the company). I think without any warning things must be o.k. These guys seem to want to put bad news out to show their honesty and in this case, I would wager than no news is good news. With a pre-split cash value of $.65 I think we could see some near term upside if earnings are decent. Not sure about these guys long term though. I think the market for what they are doing is getting pretty niche and, while important, companies will go to the larger guys (such as Oracle/MSFT) who can build in the functionality. This leads me to believe a buy out would be appropriate (and in line with what the new CEO has done in the past).
Of course, this is JMHO and I welcome RATIONAL thoughts about this.
Low float does not = big money.
