According to Portfolio123's "All-Stars: Zweig" ranking system FSLR's stock is ranked first among all S&P 500 tech stocks. The "All-Stars: Zweig" ranking system is based on investing principles of the well-known investor Martin Zweig.

Interessanter Beitrag zu First Solar
http://seekingalpha.com/article/3011846-why-first-solar-stoc…Auszüge daraus:
The company reported a fourth quarter GAAP earnings per fully diluted share of $1.89, compared to earnings of $0.87 in the prior quarter. The increase in net income compared to the prior quarter was due to higher profit from the sale of the Solar Gen 2 project and project cost improvements.
The company now has several lines of production running its latest technology, and it is encouraged by the results. Four of these lines have averaged an impressive 15.8% efficiency. This technology will be rolled out across the fleet over the course of 2015. First Solar began production of its TetraSun modules at its manufacturing facility in Malaysia, with encouraging initial cell efficiencies of 20.5%.
http://solarenergy.net/News/first-solar-and-sunpowers-new-so…
http://cleantechnica.com/2015/03/16/hat-trick-southern-turke… Neue Analyse der Situation von First Solar
Auszüge daraus:First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) recently posted mixed results for the fourth quarter, the stock's performance on the stock market has remained unaffected. First Solar has appreciated 36% this year, and it won't be surprising if it continues to beat the market going forward. In fact, the company posted earnings of $1.89 per share last quarter, beating the consensus estimate of $0.76 by a handsome margin.
Now, in order to keep its pipeline strong, First Solar's module efficiency will play a key role. As a result, the company has invested in CadTel technology, which has allowed it to set a new world record for CadTel cell efficiency of 21.5%, certified by the NREL Best Research Cell Efficiencies. In fact, First Solar has improved its cell efficiency by around 400 basis points since 2011.
Due to its improving cell efficiency and a strong order book, it won't be surprising if First Solar outperforms expectations. Moreover, the company has a strong cash position of $1.99 billion, while its debt is low at $229 million. As such, First Solar will not have much difficulty in financing its projects, invest in new technology, and focus on business development projects. Hence, even after appreciating strongly this year, First Solar can still deliver more upside.

First Solar muss den letzten Kursanstieg erst einmal verdauen
charttechnische Betrachtung
http://www.finanztreff.de/kurse_quicknews.htn?i=5864718&pId=…
