Am Donnerstag, den 21.02.08 gab es nach der folgenden Veröffentlichung ein Kursfeuerwerk mit über 300% Plus :

      http://biz.yahoo.com/ccn/080221/200802210443650001.html?.v=1

The Company has now completed 8 holes of a minimum 15 hole drill program at its Atikwa Lake property located 120 road kilometres southeast of Kenora, Ontario.

Hole AT-08-01 on section 1200N has intersected a gold and copper zone within an overall core length of 178m. The entire zone consists of 46.75m of basaltic pillow lava flows and 131.25m of massive fractured mafic flows containing varying amounts of chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite mineralization and a series of intermittent feldspar porphyry dykes within the overall 178m core length. The hole intersected the mineralized zone at low angles to core representing an approximate true width of about 30% of core lengths noted below. Further drilling is required to determine the true width, length and depth of the zone.

      Assay results are as follows:

Nach so einem Anstieg folgt häufig ein mehr oder weniger starker Rücksetzer.

      Also beobachten !

Es stehen noch weitere Ergebnisse aus und die Outstanding Shares sind sehr gering (= großer Hebel bei weiteren guten Ergebnissen).

The previous operators at Dingman (Noranda 1989, Deloro 1998) reported drill results and resources from within an approximate open pit zone of 275m long, a maximum depth of 100m and an average width of about 80m at an approximate average grade of 1.04 g/t Au (0.034 opt Au).

Opawica's drilling of 19 holes has confirmed the findings of previous operators that historically drilled over 51 holes at the Dingman granite. Opawica's drilling has increased the dimension of the mineralized Dingman zone to approximately 375m in length, 275m in depth and averaging about 80m in width at grades previously reported and as outlined in the above Dingman drill hole table. The Dingman zone is open on strike to the east and to depth. There are five higher grade gold zones within the 80m wide Dingman zone and at least one of these zones has been demonstrated to extend to at least 275m in depth in hole DI-07-019. This narrower and higher grade zone is represented in hole DI-07-019 as consisting of 9m of 2.07 g/t Au which includes a 1m interval of 9.14 g/t Au.

This higher grade core zone is open to depth beneath the proposed maximum limit of the open pit zone of 200m in vertical depth.

The remaining drill targets on the Dingman property will test the strike extent to the east of the Dingman open pit zone for at least a further 325m of strike to determine if the open pit zone may be extended to at least 700m in strike length. The most easterly hole drilled to date by Opawica is hole DI-07-012 which returned 35m of 1.04 g/t Au within 70m of surface. In addition, further drilling will test the Dingman zone at depth to determine if the narrower higher grade core zone continues to depth.

Representative ore grade samples from the Dingman gold zone have been subject to various whole rock analysis and metallurgical testing by previous operators. In 2005 (Neczkar; SGS-Lakefield Research) two 1000g overall Composite samples grading about 1.96 g/t Au were examined for the recovery of gold by cyanidation on a Dingman ore sample. At minus 200 mesh, bottle roll acid leach testing produced a gold recovery of 97.5%. In addition, a past independent valuation report (January 10, 1997; Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. for Rajong Resources Ltd.), stated that "Overall the Dingman rocks are free of deleterious elements, such as arsenic, mercury and antimony".

Opawica has conducted whole rock analysis on portions of Dingman drill core and have confirmed that the arsenic, mercury and antimony content are virtually at undetectable levels confirming the findings of the past operators. During the next 90 days Opawica will also conduct metallurgical testing to further confirm the above historical findings concerning gold recoveries at Dingman.

Furthermore, Opawica has initiated a preliminary scoping study and an independent resource study to be completed and included in a 43-101 report. This report will include an overview of all categories of gold resources as well as the potential of saleable quarry products. The potential aggregate products will form part of the study given the rock types at Dingman and the proximity of the Dingman property to local senior aggregate producers and to the industrial, construction and commercial market of the Greater Toronto Area. It is expected that this report will be completed by the end of May 2008.

Fire assaying and selected whole rock analysis of the Dingman core samples was completed by Swastika Laboratories of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.

ATIKWA LAKE, NW ONTARIO, COPPER-GOLD, KENORA AREA

Opawica has commenced a five hole drill program on the Northern Gold Zone on the Atikwa Lake property located about 800m north of the Maybrun gold and copper Zone.

This program will test geophysical anomalies over a strike length of 500m and in the area of past Opawica drilling that intersected 5.1 g/t Au over 4m, 7.33 g/t Au over 3m and 5.75 g/t Au over 5.75m within 80m of surface.

This five hole program is expected to be completed in the next two weeks.

At the Maybrun Zone the Company has now completed its compilation and the combining of all historic and Opawica drill holes and sections on the Maybrun Zone including the historic open pit located at the southern end of the Maybrun Zone. Over 265 surface and underground drill holes, including hole AT-08-001 announced on February 21, 2008, and 586m of underground headings on two levels and a deep penetrating IP survey to 400m in depth make up the principal components of the data base for the entire Maybrun Zone. The above data base outlines a strike length of at least 500m, a width of 70m and a depth of 100m at the Maybrun Zone. The Maybrun zone is primarily open on strike, to depth and laterally to the west. The deep penetrating Insight Geophysics' IP survey has indicated coincident resistivity and chargeability anomalies at the Maybrun zone and area to at least 400m in depth, 100m in width and 700m in strike length.

The compilation of the Maybrun Zone data now enables the Company to determine exactly where infill drilling and the twinning of historic holes are required in order to determine the true dimension and grade of the entire Maybrun Zone so that an independent resource study and scoping study may be undertaken using current gold and copper prices. A total of about 52 in-fill and twinned holes are planned at the Maybrun Zone for about 8000m of drilling. This drill program will start in about two weeks and is expected to conclude within the next 120 days.

Assay results from 9 of the first 10 holes drilled at Atikwa Lake are pending. Only one of the first 10 holes (AT-08-001) was drilled into the known Maybrun stratigraphy and mineralization. The remaining 9 holes were drilled into other IP anomalies. One of the 9 holes was drilled below the known Maybrun Zone and 8 holes were drilled on targets to the east or south of the known Maybrun Zone and stratigraphy.

Fire assaying of the Atikwa Lake core samples was completed by Swastika Laboratories of Kirkland Lake, Ontario.

The Qualified Person for the Atikwa Lake property and the Dingman property is Mr. Fred Sharpley, P.Geo., of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, and he has reviewed the contents of this release.

Finally, at the Company's Annual General Meeting ("AGM") held on February 28, 2008 all resolutions put forward by the Company in its related Information Circular were approved by shareholders of the Company. Accordingly, a 1,000,000 unit offering at $0.30 per unit announced on December 19, 2007 has closed. Insiders subscribed for 550,500 units of this offering.
