The three major Japanese car makers Toyota, Nissan and Honda intend to salsh production in China by 50% on the stalemate over the sovereignty of Diaoyu Islands between China and Japan, the Japanese media reported.
A Nissan production plant in China will only run in day time. The spokesperson of the company rejected to comment on the news.
Toyota and Honda will also shorten working hours and reduce production pace, cutting Chinese production by 50%.
The spokesperson of Toyota denied the news, saying that production in China will resume after the Golden Week. (y)

Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd announced that it will recall 55,018 units of King kong and Jin Ying autos from Sep 29.
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said the affected King kong and Jin Ying model was manufactured between January 3rd 2009 and November 30th 2011.
The automaker said a deviation of the installation dimension of the fuel boxes for these autos may led to fuel leakage which exists a potential risk adding that all affected autos will be fixed free.In the first half of this year Geely Automobile saw its auto sales reach 223,000 units up 4.2% YoY while its auto export exceeded 40,000 units during the six month period reflecting a YoY increase of over 200%.
