Nun, ICH habe es getan.

Viele der WO-Nutzer haben allerdings bisher nur ein peripheres Interesse für Met@box. Durch do eine Darstellugn im Thread wäre auch für sie die Möglichkeit gegeben, das Unternehmen etwas näher kennenzulernen (und zu kaufen). Wichtig ist es doch, weitere Anlegerschichten für den Wert zu begeistern. -

Also, nutzt doch lieber so einen Thread wie diesen, als diesen "Gefälschter Auftrag-Thread" immer wieder nach oben zu holen. So ein Blödsinn!

Da mir dieser Thread vorwiegend sachlich orientiert erscheint, nachfolgend eine weitere interessante Information.

Ich hatte seit einiger Zeit die Aktie von Dauphin Technology nebenbei verfolgt, weil mir der Chart so eindrucksvoll erschien (unbedingt ansehen bei stockmaster.com - Kürzel DNTK) - ohne zunächst zu wissen, was die Firma überhaupt tut. Es stellte sich heraus, daß sie ein offenbar recht bedeutender Wettbewerber von Metabox in den USA ist. Ich las nämlich eine Pressemitteilung vom 5. April, in der Dauphin einen ebensolchen Vertragsabschluß mitteilt wie Metabox - Lieferung von Set-Top-Boxen im Wert von 500 Mill. $ an einen Kunden aus der EU, hier sind es aber 2,5 Mill. Boxen. (Um unbedingt einer weiteren Verschwörungstheorie vorzubeugen: es handelt sich nicht um den gleichen Vertrag wie bei Metabox und sie haben ihn auch nicht einfach abgekupfert.) Interessant ist nun, daß der Kunde von Dauphin auch nicht genannt werden möchte! Begründung s.unten. Übrigens produziert Dauphin selbst. Ich habe nur den ersten Teil der sehr ausführlichen Pressemitteilung hier angefügt, den vollständigen Text findet Ihr bei stockmaster.com, unter dem Chart. Der Kurs von Dauphin hat sich nach dem ersten Bekanntwerden des Kontrakts am 17. Februar innerhalb von ca. 6 Wochen verfünfundzwanzigfacht, wenn ich richtig gerechnet habe!

PALATINE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2000--Dauphin Technology, Inc. today announced supplementary information pertaining to the Set-Top Box (STB) contract first announced on February 17, 2000. Today`s release contains detailed information about the project and size of the contract, including a full description of the functionality of Dauphin`s STB.

In the February 17, 2000 announcement, Dauphin stated that it anticipated to fully release all necessary specifics pertaining to its contract and overall project within the next 30 to 45 days. At the request of Dauphin`s EU client, certain disclosures regarding other participants, as well as the name of the client, shall continue to remain confidential until further notice. As soon as it is appropriate for Dauphin to disclose such information, it will do so promptly. According to the client, a project of this magnitude involving many participants entails time-consuming details and documentation prior to disclosure. Therefore, in order to be timely in disclosing information regarding Dauphin`s contract, the client has authorized the Company to release details of its contract.

According to the multi-year agreement, Dauphin shall supply a minimum of 2.5 million Set-Top Boxes to its client starting in the fourth quarter of the year 2000. By the end of 2000, a total of 200,000 STBs are scheduled for shipment. Each year thereafter, 500,000 units are to be delivered annually through the beginning of 2005. Total revenue from the STBs, based on the scheduled deliveries described above, will exceed $500 million.

Dauphin is the client`s exclusive supplier of STBs and has retained the right to market it in other parts of the world without any restrictions or stipulations. Additionally, in the event of any unforeseen changes in economic or technological conditions, both companies have the right to consider price adjustments after delivery of the first 1.2 million STBs. However, Dauphin has been granted the first right of refusal to produce the balance of the order totaling 2.5 million units. Gross profit margins of the unit are very favorable to Dauphin, exceeding industry standard ranges, inclusive of shipping and exporting expenses.

Development costs have been secured by the funds raised recently through the private placement. Production costs for the initial 200,000 units are expected to be secured shortly by means of a large investment group.

The product will be manufactured at RMS, Dauphin`s manufacturing facility in McHenry, Illinois. The plant`s capacity is more than sufficient to produce the necessary quantities in accordance with the required delivery schedule. Staffing of the RMS facility will be increased as deemed appropriate in the near future. These are management`s current plans for manufacturing the STB, although the Company has the privilege to manufacture it anywhere in the world in order to increase its profit margin, as long as delivery dates are met.

Dauphin`s STB incorporates an integrated modular design approach to address present and future technological innovations. It is an ADSL/VDSL access unit that has the capability to provide Video on Demand/TV, Video-Telephone services, voice telephony and Access to the Internet, using a Computer. The Set-Top box will connect to a gigabit fiber optic backbone infrastructure to provide ultra high speed communication services to users including; residential, commercial, civil, educational institutions, government facilities and others. ...

Ich muß mich korrigieren: vervierundzwanzigfacht hat sich der Kurs von Dauphin in der Zeit von Anfang Januar bis Mitte März d.J. - nach Bekanntwerden des Vertrags hat er sich nur noch versechsfacht und danach wieder gedrittelt, also: von ca. 0,2 auf 12 $, dann wieder auf 5,38 gefallen (Schlußkurs von Montag).
