(Nasdaq:CTMX), a biopharmaceutical company developing investigational Probody™ therapeutics for the treatment of cancer, today announced the treatment of the first patient in the PROCLAIM (Probody Clinical Assessment In Man) CX-072 study, a Phase 1/2 clinical trial evaluating CX-072, a PD-L1-targeting Probody therapeutic, as monotherapy and in combination with Yervoy® (ipilimumab) or Zelboraf®(vemurafenib) in patients with all types of cancers



Nach dem von der FDA abgesegneten Studiendesign ist die erste Behandlung eines Patienten gestartet.

Bei klinischen Studien sind immer die ersten Patienten die zeitverzögernde Phase.
Wenn bei denen sich keine allergischen Reaktionen ergeben haben, beschleunigt sich die Rekrutierung der auf 2 Jahre angesetzten klinischen Studie mit 150 Patienten.

Das Ergebnis dieser Studie wird schon eine bedeutende Aussagefähigkeit für die schlüssige Prodrug-Theorie des cytomx-business-Modells sein.

Beeindruckend ist die geringe cash burn rate (5 mio$) in 2016, bei dennoch planmäßiger Entwicklung der breiten pipeline.
Cytomx ist jetzt bis ins Jahr 2019 hinein durchfinanziert.
Neue Allianzen sind 2017 denkbar.
