You do bring up a key point in as to why EPM is probably not going to be targeted (negatively) in politics. We know that we have been granted permission in devils elbow - which would have been rejected by the lands council if we had a poor environmental plan and only brought up the fact it'll bring in good tax revenue. I think Carl is focused to just not acting like the 'big evil corp' where profits are the only fuel they have.

Your points about how the mine will help provide resources for future technologies and green technologies is spot on, as well as EPM will bring on modern mining techniques and will focus on minimising environmental impact whilst providing good stable employment for locals, bolstering quality of life.

Yeah it's one of those things which I'm sure EPM will be able to get out to the public that WE aren't affected, and more just to clarify that IA is against U, not mining. The market is just not quite aware of what the election really means for other mines, since GGG is the largest and most public.

I think this YT clip gives are decent overview and summary of what's going on over there. I will say I wasn't quite aware of the political situation that caused the snap election, and the fact there's quite a bit of controversy of a new Nuuk Airport. **Note that IA is against the K mine DUE TO Uranium** not mining in general.

It also highlights the independence for Greenland. With the Arctic opening up there is a potential new shipping route which will potentially draw new internation attention (particually from US and Russia's navy) now whilst this is a HC thread and not a Geopolitical commentary thread --> The potential coalition that IA will form is with the Naleraq party which is a pro independence party, Which is wanting more independence from Denmark. It begs the question how will they be able to increase the quality of living and wealth of the country?

Big note to take away from the video which clearly states "IA Acknowledges that mining offers a path towards independence" and Even open to Oil exploration. Even talks about the Chinese and US influence and investments.

Spent the weekend doing research, and this will probably give you all a headache, -- but don't worry no exam after this.

The website provides a better understanding on the higher end 99.99999999% (9N), Silica grade.
      https://www.bernreuter.com/polysilicon/manufacturers/
It's almost like "mining" for cryptocurrency, where the cheapest power and biggest processing plant wins. We are not in that game - thankfully; it's bloody ruthless at the top.

It details the major companies that go about crazy with UHPQ silica (Polysilicon). But this is very very power intensive; so even at these prices it ultra competitive for couple bucks cost base (per kg) and only possible with processing plants next to a Power Plant (or even self-own dedicated power plant, or hydro etc).
It's currently being dominated by China at the moment.

      Note MT (is metric Ton)

We are obviously positioned in European Market at the moment. So I found this report about "non-critical" commodities quite interesting. Pertaining to silica sands (and Quartz) on pages 462 - 474, it likely gives a better appreciation of the market place. Which iterates Silica Sand in around 30 - 300 Euro per ton (where Quartz is on the higher band)

Makes sense now that particular through away sentence about iceland, as it ticks the boxes to leverage the Silica market (in very green way)

      Zur info

The CEO of GGG yesterday came out with the announcement "the metal was not of great economic significance to the project", he could has said this about uranium before the election and clarify and discuss it with the local candidate. They seem to have other agendas to me. There is a chance EPM market cap is a lot higher than GGG in time

As Callahan pointed out, we will put Marry Valley under the looking glass. The leadership has recongised that there needs to be an environmental plan as well as a re vegetation plan. Instead of just winging it EPM has shown they will do their due diligence in order to minimise their environmental impact. I also suspect they were able to show the lands council this too in order to be granted permission for Devils Elbow.

Just highlighted some key points in The West article pointed out

we can see that IA is fully opposed to the GGG mine, due to that radioactive material. their 25 year radioactive mine ban ended in 2013, so using maths we can determine that the ban came into effect one year after our mine closed down due to the sole resource Cryolite not being commercially viable anymore.

Now as I pointed out before, Greenland sees 3 key points to becoming financially independent from Denmark: Fishing, Mining and Tourism. In that order. There was a poll conducted by the BBC on 9 Jan 2020 asking Greenlanders if they want to separate from Denmark completely, some suggests that as many as 64% of the population are wanting.

Also My Final Point: I don't think the market has really priced in the Greenland project that EPM have, We have our NT and QLD projects which at this point i'd argue the market have priced in. There's at least $6 Billion worth of silica in Ivittuut, SP doesn't reflect that now and didn't 2 weeks ago. Untill the Jorc comes out for the Ivittuut project

EPM is one stock not many investors, especially big investors know about it yet as they become brownfield potential literally overnight. Just wait when the Pope starts roadshow and marketing the potentials. At the moment lot of uncertainty news about GGG and many think EPM is having the same problems which I don't believe so as it an old mine, no uranium, and away from dense locals settlement for major pollution issues. Just hold & wait for me.

We will have to see how the market react to the absolute stellar announcement today. I'd suspect the market will jump on board and we will easily see 2.5 or 3 cents this week. There $6 billion of quartz in the ground and we have a market cap of $40 million. It sells it's self

Well now we know there's over 6$ billion worth of quartz in ivittuut pit, which has already been mined from AND WON`T have any issues from obtaining a license to start mining again.

we know there's JORC report around the corner which will confirm the amount of REE in this one mine

and we still have 2 other tenements in the NT and QLD that we are awaiting drill reports from though are already promising from initial and historical evaluation

and we are sitting at 40 mil market cap, I think 400 mil is easily in our sights short term

      let's enjoy the party
