Merrill Lynch gestern:
• Yesterday, ALLTEL announced that it has
launched its wireless internet service using the
InfoSpace platform. This follows on the launch of
InfoSpace-enabled service in the U.S. by AT&T
Wireless, Verizon, VoiceStream, QWest and
OmniSky. SBC is the only US carrier partner not
yet launched, and is expected to do so in Q4.
• At investor presentations last month following the
Go2Net announcement, management laid out
wireless subscriber targets of 1mm for YE 2000
and 5mm for YE 2001. Based on InfoSpace’s
current contracts, 1mm seems very achievable
(though not a complete lay up).
• So where is InfoSpace now in terms of carrier
portal-service subs? As of June 30, we think 200-
300K. AT&T Wireless had 100,000 wireless data
subs as of 7/25 (growing at a pace of nearly 1,000
per day). Of US carriers currently offering
wireless internet, Sprint PCS has the most subs,
with about 500K as of 7/20. (Sprint PCS and Nextel
are the only major US carriers not using the
InfoSpace portal platform).
• Chairman Naveen Jain and CEO Arun Sarin are
in Europe talking to investors this week. InfoSpace
is hosting an analyst day Thurs, Sept. 14 at which
time they will provide outlook and metrics for the
combined InfoSpace/Go2Net. (We think the
market is also awaiting the announcement of
carrier deals for Asia and Europe, and this would
be a logical opportunity for that.)

DJ Analysts Say Heavy InfoSpace Volume Due To Sept Mtg
DJ InfoSpace Up -2: Co Has
No News To Explain High Volume
By Paula L. Stepankowsky
Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
LONGVIEW, Wash. (Dow Jones)--Trading volume in InfoSpace Inc.
(INSP), an Internet infrastructure information company, was sharply higher Thursday, something analysts attributed to anticipated positive results from an upcoming analysts meeting.
Trading volume in the Bellevue, Wash., company`s stock exceeded
20.7 million shares Thursday, up from average daily volume of 5.4 million. There were 109 trades in blocks ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 shares; 17 trades in large blocks ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 shares and seven trades in blocks of more than 100,000 shares. Adam Whinston, an InfoSpace spokesman, said the company doesn`t comment on fluctuations in stock price and volume. He said the company issued no news release today that would account for the increased volume. Jack Ripsteen, an analyst with Chase H&Q, said that there has been a "pretty good" rally in a number of Internet infrastructure stocks Thursday. In the case of InfoSpace, he said he thought investors might also be buying ahead of the company`s Sept. 14 analyst meeting, "which I think will be a positive for the stock."
He said the meeting will be the first opportunity for some people to take a look at the company`s Go2Net (GNET) acquisition, announcedJuly 31. Go2Net, based in Seattle, provides a number of Internet services and owns such popular Internet sites as Silicon Investor. Scott Sutherland, an analyst with Wedush Morgan Securities, said he, too, sees the upcoming analyst day as important for the company.
He said in the second quarter earnings conference call, company
executives mentioned they would announce an alliance with one European and one Asian wireless carrier by the end of the third quarter, "which we believe may be sooner with the analyst day coming up."
Sutherland added that investors looking at InfoSpace may be seeing
that the company valuation "makes a lot of sense" once the merger with Go2Net goes through."
John Graves, an analyst with SG Cowen, said that senior InfoSpace executives are meeting with fund managers throughout Europe this week and that some of the volume the markets are seeing this week could be attributed to that.
"The executives are clearly articulating the story about the
combined companies," Graves said.
InfoSpace stock recently traded at 38.31, up 1.75, or 4.8% on volume of 21 million shares. On Wednesday, InfoSpace stock closed up 14.7%.

Wireless Commerce: Protect InfoSpace Profits, More Buying Opportunities to Come
Toronto, ONT, September 5 /SHfn/ -- In just four trading days, the share price of InfoSpace [INSP] has soared over 38%. An August 30 StockHouse feature suggested it offered promising prospects. As forecast, the stock found a bottom in the $25-$28 range and reversed course. It now trades to the upside, filling the gap found between $38-$43. The gap occurred after InfoSpace announced its intention to acquire Go2Net on July 27. Nervous investors, spooked by the seemingly high stock-swap price, bailed out of InfoSpace. This fire sale provided others with an exceptional buying opportunity. However, now that the stock has traded to $44.19, the gap has been filled, and appears overextended on a short-term basis. The three-month price target of $90 is still on track, but investors may wish to protect profits at this level.
InfoSpace established itself by providing national yellow and white pages directories on the Internet. Its content now includes maps, classified ads, news, stock quotes, music and television listings. The company`s technology turns mobile phones into true commerce devices. Seven of the top nine wireless carriers in the United States are InfoSpace clients, and its affiliate network consists of more than 3,000 websites, including those of AOL [AOL], Microsoft [MSFT] and DoubleClick [DCLK].
Technical analysis of the INSP chart below outlines the temporary overbought condition of the stock. The stochastic indicator registers in excess of 90%. Because the stock price hits the overextended upper Bollinger band, profit protection may be in order. A horizontal trend line drawn at the $43 breakdown point clearly shows that the stock will run into overhead resistance, first between $45-$50, and again at the $50-$60 range. Both the positive and negative Fibonacci fan lines intersect at $36, suggesting strong support at that level, and offering investors another excellent buying opportunity.
The merger of InfoSpace and Go2Net is pending a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) review. Adam Winston, an InfoSpace spokesman, said that if the SEC does not review the merger, it should be completed by late September to early October at the latest. If the SEC does do a review, the merger should be finished a month later. At this time, the marriage appears to be on track, and will be final before the year`s end.
InfoSpace continues its growth momentum. On September 5, SBC Wireless [SBC], a leader in global communications, announced that additional InfoSpace-powered mobile Internet services will be made available to Pacific Bell Wireless subscribers. They will be able to send messages from any wireless Internet-capable handset on the Pacific Bell Wireless network or from their PC to any e-mail device.
The past four-day price surge in shares of InfoSpace has pleasantly surprised shareholders. Although the stock is in need of a rest, it could continue to exceed expectations. An analysts` meeting scheduled for September 14 is likely to emphasis the exceptional opportunities InfoSpace presents for long-term investors.

Company: InfoSpace, Inc., Inc.Price: 40
Recommendation: Buy
Notes: b, c, e
Date: 9/5/00
Customer: Companies with wired, wireless and broadband subscribers.
Examples:
*Verizon (wireless and DSL subscribers) - currently an InfoSpace customer forwireless Internet platform.
*Charter Communications - currently a Go2Net customer for an Internet-over-cable portal and for an Interactive Television portal.
What the Customer Gets:
Both InfoSpace and Go2Net offer a wide range of content and applications that are privately label branded for their customers (see Exhibit 1). For example, InfoSpace currently provides Verizon on an outsourced basis the technology to deliver MyVZW.com portal for Verizon`s wireless subscribers. With InfoSpace/Go2Net, the content and applications that the wireless carriers and broadband service providers receive can include:
*Content - stock quotes, maps, yellow page directories, sports information etc.
*Applications - payment processing engine, one click buying, instant
messaging, promotional coupon technologies, etc.
Source: InfoSpace, Go2Net, Chase H&Q
While the pieces are in place for a unified platform we believe there has been some investor discount as to whether there will be demand for a converged platform in the marketplace. One of the concerns is that there are not enough network operators with both wireless and broadband services. We expect, at the analyst day, InfoSpace will provide better visibility on the target customers that would use a unified platform.2)
Financial Impact
We believe the acquisition of Go2Net will further strengthen InfoSpace`s financial position and should accelerate InfoSpace`s time to profitability.
First, Go2Net adds over $200 million in cash and cash equivalents to the balance sheet. Secondly, Go2Net generates relatively significant revenue and earnings, which will be accretive to InfoSpace. In the most recent quarter, Go2Net reported revenue of $23 million at 84% gross margin and $0.22 EPS (without charges), comparing favorably to InfoSpace`s reported revenue of $25 million at 82% gross margin and ($0.01) EPS over the same period. Although we are awaiting the company`s guidance with respect to Go2Net`s specific impact on InfoSpace`s P&L, we expect that Go2Net is likely to account for between 45% and 50% of the combined entity`s FY00 revenue and between 35% and 45% of the combined entity`s FY01 revenue. Additionally, Go2Net`s top-line has grown faster than that of InfoSpace. Importantly, we believe InfoSpace is acquiring........
Summary and Recommendation
We expect InfoSpace`s upcoming analyst day, on 9/14/00, to be a positive catalyst for the stock. The September analyst day will give a number of investors their first look at Go2Net (announced acquisition on 7/26/00). We believe the Go2Net acquisition has been largely misunderstood and discounted and believe that investors should come away from the analyst day with a better appreciation of Go2Net`s business and management team. In addition to getting a first look at Go2Net, we believe investors will come away with better visibility on the InfoSpace business.
Since the announcement of the Go2Net acquisition, InfoSpace the "stock" has been under pressure, trading as low as $25.50, well off of its 52-week high of $138.50. Recently, the stock has seen an early turn around. We expect continued positive momentum in the stock going into and coming out of the analyst day. We believe the fundamentals of both InfoSpace`s business and Go2Net`s business are on track. Importantly, we believe investors will be pleasantly surprised coming away from the analyst day and will have a better understanding of the Go2Net acquisition. We reiterate our BUY ahead of the InfoSpace analyst day and continue to include InfoSpace on the Chase H&Q Focus List.

@AnnaNass
@All

@McSnack

Was ist daran Billig?

Wo hast du die Informationen her?

@alle

@alle

@zündi

Was meinst du mit pro-forma-Gewinn?
Revenues: $43,578 Mio.
Cost of Revenues: $7,596 Mio.
Gross profit: $35,982 Mio.
Total operating expenses: $162,810 Mio.
Loss from Operations: $126,828 Mio.
($115 Mio. - $86,6 Mio. = -$28,4 Mio.)
@Fra Diabolo

InfoSpace Is Everywhere
Infospace provides Internet information infrastructure services. Its sky-high price-to-sales ratio tells you that investors believe in its potential for dynamic growth. Its strong gross margins indicate that it can achieve that growth. InfoSpace aims to do it by providing services for every type of Internet communication, but particularly for the wireless Web. That is the important, emerging industry that InfoSpace aims to dominate.

"Powered by InfoSpace." That`s a phrase you`re increasingly likely to come across these days if you`re using a cell phone to access the Internet.
As we wrap up Break Down August -- it`s still August, by the way, don`t believe what The Man is telling you about September -- let`s next take a look at our last Rule Breaker candidate, identified as a potential Breaker on the list from our 2000 Rule Breaker Seminar and run through the criteria most recently by scrim1.
So just what exactly IS InfoSpace?
Easy: "A leading global Internet information infrastructure services company." The sort of phrase one can really wrap one`s brain around, no? "Honey, InfoSpace is just an Internet information infrastructure services company, that`s all!" you explain. Gee whiz, it couldn`t be more obvious. Yes, we`re probably all looking for a little bit more Internet information infrastructure services in our lives. Our question today is: In our portfolios, too? It`s time for our Rule Breaker "Break Down" of InfoSpace.
Brief consideration of price-to-sales ratios for Rule Breakers
First, some quick numbers. InfoSpace (Nasdaq: INSP), for the trailing 12 months, has posted the following:
Sales: $69 million
Earnings: deficit
Today`s market cap: ~$10 billion
We`ll shortly get into what this company does and what that means. But before we do I want to hold forth just a little bit on how and why a company with less than $70 million in trailing sales could possibly be valued at $10 billion. After all, in the oft-repeated mantra of Internet investing, "It isn`t even profitable!"
Lacking net profits, the Rule Breaker investor must instead look for a multiple of sales. Using the numbers provided above, we discover...
Price-to-sales ratio: 146
If you`re new to this ratio, it simply tells you that the total value (market cap) of InfoSpace, $10 billion, is in fact 146 times the amount of sales the company has generated in the past 12 months. Is that good, bad, right, or wrong?
There is no "right number" for this ratio. What a number like 146 can tell you, though, is that InfoSpace is very richly priced compared to many other companies. Here`s the present price-to-sales ratios for a selection of other companies:
Ford 0.3
Coca-Cola 7
Amazon.com 7
Yahoo 74
Celera Genomics 138
A dependable rule is that small companies with hot growth prospects will, in general, command higher price-to-sales ratios than large ones because their growth rates are much higher. Investors pay up for dynamic growth.
Another reason that InfoSpace is priced like a top dog? Its gross margins. When you take cost of sales out of sales, you arrive at gross profit. When you take gross profit as a portion of sales, you have gross margins. The Rule Makers of the world generally score higher than 50%, meaning they`re running light businesses that have the capacity to generate substantial profits. InfoSpace, merely a potential Rule Breaker at this green stage of its growth -- and not yet sustainably profitable -- is sporting gross margins in its most recent quarter of 81.8%.
When you combine the speed of sales growth together with an early stage company`s gross margins, you have as good a read on the level of a company`s price-to-sales ratio as any two factors will provide. A read on a company`s price-to-sales ratio is therefore a read on its stock price.
Margins like InfoSpace`s -- gross margins upwards of 80% -- will obtain share prices many multiples of what the company`s trailing 12 months of business would seem to justify. That`s the reason for such a high market cap. InfoSpace is priced like a top dog, and we should therefore analyze it as such.
Top dog of what?
InfoSpace`s mission, as best I could gather from its website, is:
"To allow our partners to offer their customers the ability to conduct commerce, access information, communicate and otherwise manage their lives at any time from any device."
A powerful concept, and the words mean as much as they say. We`re talking broad, here, dear Fools. "InfoSpace in every space" is the service mark tagline.
Put this all together and you find that InfoSpace is attempting to operate across the entire spectrum of digital interaction. If you are an offline business hoping to establish an online site where you can hock your wares, InfoSpace can help you. If you are a Bell company hoping to get up a "Yahoo-like portal" for your new Internet phone customers, you hire InfoSpace (virtually all U.S. phone companies, except Sprint, have done so in this regard -- SBC was the most recent, just a couple weeks ago). In fact, InfoSpace actually combines these two aforementioned examples as an integrated part of its business model: it has all the regional Bells marketing its Web services to their local merchants. If you didn`t grasp the full beauty of that line, read it again.
As this posting from mmick earlier this year states, wireless services are where InfoSpace hopes most to profit. The company`s CEO, Naveen Jain, was quoted as saying, "The killer applications for wireless devices are going to be unified communication and secure commerce. Our communication services enable users to not only send and receive messages on their cellular phones, but also from any device to any device including PDAs, pagers, and PCs. Our commerce services not only allow mobile users to check stock quotes, but also trade stocks; not only find the cheapest price for a product, but also make single-click instant purchases from any website; and not only check credit card statements, but also make a payment. This is more than just a dream, these are the services we offer today."
It is this "space," which begins with information and ends with taking action, that InfoSpace hopes to call its own. InfoSpace aims to dominate as a private-label provider of the total online commerce package -- the information, services, and transaction capability brought to you by the New Economy.
The dream InfoSpace interaction (from the company`s standpoint) is you sitting on a subway train deciding to purchase five new laser printers for your small office, using your handheld device to look up info on what will suit your needs, locating the best deals available via a local merchant who can deliver within 24 hours, and then you swiping the stylus or punching a button to execute that very transaction. All while you sit on the subway. InfoSpace is profiting from virtually every portion of that entire interaction, except the subway ticket.
Tomorrow in the final part of our Break Down we will continue to evaluate InfoSpace as the top dog and first-mover of the "everywhere-to-everywhere digital activity" industry. Is InfoSpace a Rule Breaker? We`ll give our opinion tomorrow. Until then, let us know what you think on the InfoSpace and Rule Breaker Companies discussion boards.

InfoSpace - Kunde gewonnen *freu*

INSP is the nexus between individual content and applications and their distribution through the Internet, enabling users to access information, content and conduct commerce from any device, anywhere, anytime. Over the past year, INSP has concentrated on delivering its suite of products to the wireless market, and has built substantial relationships with carriers representing over 88% of subscribers in the US and approximately 50% of subscribers in Europe. Combining Go2Net with INSP extends the platform the company offers to include broadband delivery of portal solutions, additional content, and a market leading back end merchant solution to complement INSP`s front end solutions. Through providing services to approximately 16% of the U.S. merchant base, and a wireless footprint covering 88% of subscribers, and the tools of one-click purchasing, location-based services and targeted promotions delivery, INSP is positioned to be the enabler of m-commerce generally. 2001 will see onset of mass adoption of wireless Internet. Currently, the world is still at the early adoption stage of wireless Internet access and services. This has partly been due to a lack of WAP enabled phones, a situation that will be ameliorated in 2001 as expected production volumes of 220mm will quintuple 2000 volumes. Given INSP`s reach, relationships, technology and valuation relative to potential financial results based upon both a conservative DCF analysis and PEG ratio analysis, we rate INSP a Buy and have an initial price target of $80.

INFOSPACE ROLLOUTS COULD LEAD TO BIG Q4
Telecom carriers` deployments of the InfoSpace wireless platform accelerated over the past two weeks as Alltel and SBC Wireless launched wireless Internet services. The InfoSpace-powered offerings are now available to Alltel`s 10 million wireless subscribers and to Pacific Bell (an SBC subsidiary) users. A nationwide launch by SBC`s other wireless affiliates should take place this fall. Rollouts of InfoSpace`s platform appear to be ramping up and we expect additional launches heading into Q4, which should help fuel the quarter`s wireless revenue. INSP shares may remain bumpy, however, as investors mull the Go2Net (GNET $72-15/16) acquisition, which is expected to close on October 12. However, we suspect that patience will be rewarded as we start to anticipate strong wireless results in Q4.

Summary and Recommendation
InfoSpace held its first analyst day and demonstrated to investors that the
company has come along way in nearly two years as a public company. The
analyst day was well attended, positive and densely packed with presentations
and technology demonstrations from senior management from both InfoSpace and
Go2Net. We were especially impressed by the maturation of the InfoSpace
management team, which has been expanded and enhanced by the addition of the
Go2Net team.
Overall we rate the day success. InfoSpace addressed the key topics we
highlighted in our Analyst Day Preview report (please see report 9/5/00).
InfoSpace provided insight into each of its business units, which can be
divided into Wireline (traditional wired Internet business), Merchant,
Wireless, and Broadband. Furthermore, InfoSpace detailed how Go2Net fits
within the InfoSpace platform. Importantly, for the first time, InfoSpace
provided a coherent set of business metrics to benchmark the company`s
progress. We believe the metrics InfoSpace provided and will provide going
forward will ease investor concerns regarding visibility into and
understanding of the InfoSpace business model. Additionally the company gave
specific pro forma guidance on the financial impact of the Go2Net acquisition.
Remains on Chase Focus List!!Our key take aways from the analyst day are: 1) InfoSpace is a
wireless company and is an early leader 2) InfoSpace is one of few
companies that is well positioned to monetize the Wireless Internet 3)
InfoSpace straddles a number of large growth opportunities 4) InfoSpace
has developed a technology platform that it can leverage to address its
multiple opportunities and 5) the company has "grown up" significantly
and has the management team to execute on these opportunities.
Specifically, InfoSpace spent the bulk of the day discussing and demonstrating
its wireless initiatives and technologies. InfoSpace demonstrated a number of
impressive wireless applications ranging from one-click shopping to location
based mobile commerce integrated with promotions and directions. While we
have recently seen a number of these kinds of wireless applications from both
public and private companies, we believe InfoSpace, because of its
relationships with the wireless carriers, is one of the few companies that can
actually monetize these technologies. While a number of companies develop
technologies with no business model, InfoSpace already has an existing
customer base (wireless carriers) and proven revenue model for new
applications. While the concept of monetizing applications seems trivial, we
have been inundated with companies in the wireless Internet space that have
created "science fair" projects
*interesting applications but no business model. We believe having a fertile
customer base for new applications and an integrated platform on which to
layer new applications will be key points of differentiation for InfoSpace as
the Wireless Internet market continues to be a "hot" and misunderstood sector.
We believe InfoSpace accomplished what it needed to do in regards to its
analyst day. The company provided better overall visibility into the
business, introduced Go2Net and the Go2Net management team and laid out its
plans for future growth in Europe and Asia. We believe InfoSpace the "stock"
should continue its positive momentum coming out of the analyst day. As for
catalysts, we believe that the stock could see additional positive momentum
when the company breaks out its wireless subscriber statistics at the end of
the year. We continue to believe that InfoSpace is one of the best
opportunities for investors seeking exposure to the wireless Internet. We
reiterate our BUY recommendation and continue to include InfoSpace on the
Chase H&Q Focus List.

· Concurrent with its first ever analyst day, Infospace announced that SBC has agreed to deploy its mobile commerce platform, the second carrier to do so following AT&T. Management indicated that four additional customers will soon follow these two. We expect transaction revenues to become significant no earlier than the middle of 2001.
· InfoSpace also announced a new customer in Europe, Virgin Mobile, and a new distribution partner, Nortel Networks. This agreement allows InfoSpace to rapidly enter the emerging 2.5G and 3G broadband wireless opportunities beginning in Europe.
· Management demonstrated several new technologies including consumer-to-consumer financial services payments, location-based services and proprietary voice recognition capabilities.
· Management discussed the synergies of the recent Go2Net acquisition (expected to close on October 12), committed to providing wireless subscriber count guidance by the end of the calendar year and provided guidance for the combined (INSP cont.) companies. Third quarter results will be reported for the combined companies - we will be distributing an updated model shortly.
· We expect near term catalysts to include cross-selling of broadband DSL infrastructure services to existing carrier customers, broadband PC customer announcements and 3G wireless rollouts with Nortel in the 4rth quarter.

INFOSPACE HOSTS UPBEAT ANALYST DAY
InfoSpace held a well-attended Analyst Day that featured presentations from management on the company`s wireline, merchant, wireless and broadband platforms. Although totally new information was sparse, a lot of meat was put on the bones of the company`s wireless strategy and its plans for integrating Go2Net (GNET $58-1/8). The majority of the value, and what InfoSpace appears to be attracted to, is Go2Net`s technology and content licensing business, which is geared toward repurposing existing and new content for broadband networks and devices and distributing it on those networks. This sounds a lot like InfoSpace in the wireless world, repurposing content for cell phones. Although InfoSpace has a multifaceted business model, coupled now with a large acquisition, we believe that developments related to the wireless platform will drive the stock for several quarters. The integration of these platforms, however, could eventually lead to tremendously open-ended opportunities, in our view. However, it might be a long way from here to there. We expect InfoSpace`s Q3 report to be relatively uneventful and believe that if the company meets our $14-million wireless revenue estimate in Q4, the stock will react quite positively.

Hi Zündi,
tut gut, wieder was von Dir zu lesen! Dachte schon, Du hättest Dich verabschiedet. Bist Du short gegangen?

LookSmart and InfoSpace Extend One Another`s Infrastructure Services to Respective Online Affiliate Networks
InfoSpace Provides Platform for Branded Services to be Used by LookSmart`s Syndication Partners; LookSmart to Provide Its Search Directory on InfoSpace`s Affiliate Network
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 2000-- LookSmart (Nasdaq:LOOK - news), the world leader in search directories, and InfoSpace (Nasdaq:INSP - news), a leading global provider of cross-platform merchant and consumer infrastructure services, today announced a joint distribution agreement whereby the two companies will distribute one another`s infrastructure services to their online affiliate networks.
Under the agreement, InfoSpace will provide the infrastructure services platform for branded applications to be distributed to LookSmart`s worldwide syndication partners, a network with an unduplicated reach of over 83%, or more than 4 out of 5 U.S. Internet users. LookSmart will provide its search directory to InfoSpace`s affiliate network that consists of more than 3,100 Web sites representing an unduplicated reach of over 92% of all Internet users.
``InfoSpace`s suite of applications enables today`s unified communications companies to offer advanced data and transaction services under their own brand that can be accessed by their customers anytime, anywhere over a variety of broad and narrowband wireless and wireline devices,`` said Naveen Jain, chairman of InfoSpace. ``This agreement is part of our strategy to stay on the cutting edge in providing the most advanced suite of applications and services to our partners.``
``The LookSmart directory appears on more sites than any other search directory, reaching 8 of the top 15 portals, more than 370 ISPs and top media companies,`` said Evan Thornley, chairman and CEO of LookSmart. ``This agreement furthers our long-term strategy of distributing our directory across the widest possible network of partners and then monetizing the directory for LookSmart and our partners. By cross-distributing InfoSpace`s quality infrastructure services across our network, we`re offering small and mid-sized businesses an excellent opportunity to reach a growing online audience.``

Was ist denn da los. Was habich da bloß für´n Scheiß gekauft.

Was ist eigentlich dein Einstiegswert.
Gruß barren

gestern CNBC: telecom stocks are falling down, because of lower subscibtion rates...

@barren :
Wo hast Du denn Infospace gekauft, barren, wielange bist Du schon drin ?

@peier

Steht schöner Bericht vom 26.09.00, Seth Kirkham, Co-manager Guiness
Flight Wireless Fund
" INSP Stock has no fundametal ( financial ) reason for going lower "

Hi zuendi,
in 2 Jahren schreibst Du mir dann:

also amigo...

Message Sentiment: Very Bullish

.With INSP you get an, operating system independent, end to end, B to C & B to B, wireless, wired, dsl, broadband, satelite, applications package with real time e-commerce, email, personal, financial and investment management, on demand music, video, interactive gaming,.... and on and on capabilities. On top of that, their customer and alliance list is every major telecom in the US, Japan, Asia, Europe, Nortel, MSFT,.......
@zuendi

Beim
Basismodell sollen alle Vertragskunden keinen monatlichen Aufpreis zahlen.

So what do you get with the two companies? With PHCM you get a company with a soon to be obsolete wireless operating system, some emailing capabilities and a few telecom customers. With INSP you get an, operating system independent, end to end, B to C & B to B, wireless, wired, dsl, broadband, satelite, applications package with real time e-commerce, email, personal, financial and investment management, on demand music, video, interactive gaming,.... and on and on capabilities. On top of that, their customer and alliance list is every major telecom in the US, Japan, Asia, Europe, Nortel, MSFT,.......
So why isn`t INSP performing better than PHCM? Who knows? Its purely technical (emotional), according to Seth Kirkham. Naveen Jain, the founder and Chairman, isn`t the most investor conscious guy,and sometimes takes alot of well deserved criticism, but INSP is a great company. And it is going to dominate this soon to be explosive industry if Japan is any sign, who, by the way, conducts ten times the business of the US and Europe combined on the wireless web. And the daily operations are actually run by Arun Sarin, the CEO, a veteran bigshot who`s held top posts at several major telecoms.
In the next few weeks the investment world will finlly assimilate the INSP story. Alot of stuff will be happening, ie. the GNET closing, favorable earnings announcements at INSP, disappointing announcements at PHCM. And if recent history is any sign INSP will take off again.
