      Press Release
i2 and BroadVision to Provide a Comprehensive Sell-Side E-Commerce Marketplace Solution
Combined software solution integrates BroadVision`s relationship management, personalization and commerce applications with i2 TradeMatrix Sell and Content Solutions
      SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 9, 2000-- i2 Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ITWO - news) and BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN - news) today at PLANET2000 announced a joint development agreement to deliver a comprehensive e-commerce solution.

The combined offering will integrate the i2 TradeMatrix(TM) Sell and i2 TradeMatrix Content Solutions with the BroadVision suite of e-commerce applications and relationship management to create a best-of-breed solution for managing the entire e-commerce value chain.

Aimed at companies that want to accelerate their time-to-market and reduce cost of ownership as they establish new e-businesses, this is the first e-business solution to integrate front-end multi-enterprise order capture and creation to back-end order management and fulfillment capabilities.

``With this announcement, there is finally a one-stop-shop approach that facilitates the integration of traditional and e-business management. Click-and-mortar retailers who get positioned this way will have a real marketplace advantage,`` according to Ron Griffin, Chief Information Officer, The Home Depot, Inc.

Collectively, the organizations plan to develop, market, and deliver a solution building on i2`s experience in collaborative commerce and supply chain management and BroadVision`s expertise in e-commerce community-building and relationship management across all industries. The solution will target customers operating sell-side, buy-side and many-to-many commerce e-businesses.

``The combination of BroadVision`s e-commerce expertise with i2 TradeMatrix Sell Solution will create real value for customers,`` said Greg Brady, president of i2. ``This unprecedented agreement will enable business-to-business and business-to-consumer companies to rapidly build and deploy marketplaces that reach the entire depth and breadth of the value chain.``

``This is an exciting announcement for BroadVision because we are enhancing our ability to integrate the supply and demand chain,`` said Dr. Pehong Chen, president and CEO of BroadVision, Inc. ``With this offering, i2 and BroadVision`s combined customers have the best of all worlds.``

i2 and BroadVision agreed to the following terms:

The complete offering from the companies will build on the i2 TradeMatrix Sell Solution, including Sales Configuration, Sales Pricer, Content Exchange, Discovery, and Internet Fulfillment Server.
The integrated solution will leverage BroadVision`s suite of applications that includes BroadVision® One-To-One(TM) Enterprise, BroadVision InfoExchange, BroadVision One-To-One Publishing, and BroadVision Business Commerce.
BroadVision`s software applications will be integrated with the i2 TradeMatrix platform, which links to i2`s supply chain planning, optimization, and fulfillment capabilities.
BroadVision and i2 will co-market and jointly-sell the integrated solution.
