Commercial Businesses Embrace Innovative Web-Based Retail Music Service; Retailers Can Generate Potential Revenue by Target-Marketing to Consumers
SAN DIEGO, Nov 22, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Commercial businesses have
long recognized that music and audio advertising can serve as valuable in-store
promotional tools. As the digital music space continues to change the way
consumers listen to music, it is a natural evolution for this innovation to
spread to retail businesses. A wide variety of retailers from stand-alone
businesses to major chain franchises are now implementing a fully customizable,
web-based digital music-subscription service that can generate potential
revenue.
California businesses that have implemented MP3.com`s (Nasdaq: MPPP) digital
retail music service include multiple Mailboxes Etc. franchise locations, a San
Diego-based Hallmark franchise, Ristorante Pasquale and two Charles Koll
Jewelers locations. The service allows businesses to customize music and
messaging to target specific demographic groups.
"One of the greatest benefits of our retail music service is the flexibility it
offers businesses," said Bob Simril, vice president of retail music services at
MP3.com (www.mp3.com). "A great example of a retailer who has customized the
service to get exactly the music and messaging capability they need is Mailboxes
Etc. Utilizing our music and ad management tool, Mailboxes Etc. franchisee Burke
Jones has created `MBE Radio` in three San Diego-area locations, allowing him to
strategically schedule music and advertising to completely control audio
messaging."
Jones, who owns and operates multiple Mailboxes Etc. locations in the San Diego
area, finds freedom in the flexibility offered by the MP3.com retail music
solution.
"The biggest advantage for me is the ability to schedule the messages I want at
the time that I want them, giving me greater flexibility to market to our global
partners," Jones said. "The whole idea is that I`m no longer at someone else`s
mercy and I`m better able to direct the experience of consumers, partners and
even employees. We can make sure that employees get consistent messaging, that
our advertisers reach consumers directly, and that each franchisee has the
opportunity to control their own branding. It really is a great service."

Hallo,
Mfg

Hallo Leute
Heute dann doch unter 6 $ in Amiland geschlossen
Sollte es doch wieder nach Noreden gehen?
Bin seit 14,50 voll dabei, hätte doch bei ca. 11 €
verkaufen sollen. Tja so ist das Leben.
Kann mir jemand weiter helfen?
Wie sieht es mit den Klagen aus?

Was machen die AMIS heute.
