      Bericht aus Yahoo! Interessant, oder????

      Friday January 5, 9:01 am Eastern Time

      Press Release

      AXIA Acquires Majority Ownership of Real Estate Company

      SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 2001--AXIA Group Inc. (OTCBB: AXIA - news) Friday announced that it recently acquired a majority
      interest in Wasatch Capital Corp., a company owning two commercial buildings in downtown Salt Lake City.

      AXIA purchased 1,600,000 newly issued shares of Wasatch Capital`s common stock; in exchange, AXIA agreed to forgive a total of $420,800 in debt which
      Wasatch Capital owed to AXIA. The transaction increases AXIA`s ownership in Wasatch from 40 percent to just over 80 percent.

      Wasatch Capital Corp. owns two downtown commercial buildings situated within a block of the press center for the upcoming 2002 Olympic Games. The
      transaction improves AXIA`s financial condition by giving it control of assets worth a total of $1,007,293, which it will now be able to consolidate with its own
      financial statements, in exchange for relinquishing a debt of $420,800.

      This in turn improves the book value of AXIA`s common stock by $.10 per share (calculation based on AXIA`s financial condition as reported in its financial
      statements as of Sept. 30, 2000).

      The transaction is part of AXIA`s plan to identify commercial real estate that can be acquired with limited cash infusions tied to favorable financing, improved upon
      with competent management and/or minimal renovation, and then sold or held as commercially viable real estate.

      AXIA is a diversified holding company whose specialty is investing in and developing undervalued real estate and providing financial consulting services to public and
      private companies.
