      InfoSpace nach Verizon-Deal im Plus


      Die Papiere des amerikanischen Internet-Dienstleisters InfoSpace Inc. können heute einen deutlichen Kursanstieg aufweisen, nachdem das Unternehmen eine Kooperation mit dem Telekommunikations-Unternehmen Verizon Communications Inc. vereinbaren konnte.

      InfoSpace wird demnach Verizon Online Services, die Internetgruppe von Verizon, mit umfassenden Anwendungen, Dienstleistungen und Inhalten versorgen. Dazu zählen beispielsweise HTML- und Flash-Informationen, Streaming-Anwendungen und Channel-Informationen. Das neue Angebot soll Mitte September online gehen.

      Die Aktie von InfoSpacegewinnt aktuell 19,01 Prozent auf 1,44 Dollar.

      Das Computer/Wirless Plattform und Applikation Provider Unternehmen Infospace kaufte 21,7 Mio. eigene Aktien in einem privaten Transfer von Vulcan Ventures zurück. Der Kaufpreis soll unterhalb des gegenwärtigen Kursniveaus gelegen haben. Infospace versucht somit die Anzahl der ausstehenden Aktien zum Wohle der Aktionäre, so das Unternehmen, zu verringern.

      Infospace kauft eigene Aktien zurück

      Der Netzwerk-Dienstleister Infospace kauft 21,7 Mio. eigene Aktien von dem kanadischen Unternehmen Vulcan Ventures zurück. Der genaue Kaufpreis ist nicht bekannt. Infospace will die gekauften Aktien aus dem Handel heraus halten, um den Aktienpreis zu stabilisieren. Jahreschart Infospace
