Fonix FAAST TTS Gives New Voice to Envox Applications

Fonix Files Sept. 30, 2000 Quarterly Report
SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 2000--Fonix Corp. (OTC BB:FONX), Tuesday announced financial results for the three and nine months ended Sept. 30, 2000.

``Our operating results through the third quarter of 2000 reflect the continued success of our transition plan, and indicate progress toward accomplishing our financial and operating objectives,`` said Thomas A. Murdock, chairman and chief executive officer.

Revenues from multiple license fees and product sales were $172,222 for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2000 and $372,494 for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2000, compared to $65,707 and $351,083, for the corresponding periods in 1999.

Increased revenue in the third quarter of 2000 indicates increased interest in Fonix products and demonstrates the company`s ability to deliver solutions in targeted markets.

``We expect revenue to continue to increase as products utilizing our speech technologies are fully integrated and bundled by our OEM partners,`` explained Murdock. ``New agreements and contracts with OEM licensees have demonstrated our ability to deliver superior voice solutions in a wide range of applications in embedded speech and handwriting, telephony and Internet voice portal markets.``

``We are pleased with our continued progress toward meeting our strategic financial objectives by decreasing our cash burn rate from operating activities. Net cash used in operating activities decreased from $17.2 million for the nine months ended September 30, 1999 to $9.3 million for the comparable period in 2000,`` said Roger D. Dudley, executive vice president and chief financial officer.

übrigens....vor Weihnachten sah ich ein Prospekt von einem DVD Player, wo die Spatalizer Technik ausdrücklich erwähnt wurde

Ich bin der Überzeugung, das sich die Fonix TTS Technik wie eine Lawine verbreiten wird. Zuerst hat sie einer...dann wollen sie auch alle anderen! Motorola und Panasonic sind nur der Anfang!

Wie sagte einst Kapitän Piccard vom Raumschiff Enterprise als er durch einen Zeitwirbel in die Vergangenheit geriet:
