Analyse

Fuel Cell Technologie ist "IN". Die Technik wird vermutlich in naher Zukunft (1-5 Jahre) in Kernkraftwerken, Autos, Booten, zu Hause, in Handys, in Computer etc. eingesetzt. DCHT wird an dieser Zukunftstechnologie eine großen Stück mitverdienen. Alle Fuel Cell-Produkte werden eines benötigen - Überwachungssysteme. Und die liefert, teilweise schon produktionsfertig, diese Firma.

Auf der anderen Seite entwickelt DCHT an einer auf 12 V basierenden Wasserstoffzelle. Länger haltbar und umweltfreundlicher als eine Batterie. Was alles mit 12 V betrieben wird, kann sich sicher jeder leicht vorstellen. Der Markt ist hier in meinen Augen gigantisch. Beispiel: Handys, Palms-, Laptops.

Fazit

Vergleicht man die Pallette der Fuel Cell Hersteller und indirekt daran Beteiligten Gesellschaften, so wird man feststellen, daß DCHT eine faszinierend kleine MK besitzt. BLDP = 11 Mrd $ / DCHT = < 200 Mill $. Vergleicht man das mit dem Marktpotential (2 Mrd. $), so könnte ein unglaubliches Potential in diesem Share stecken.

Die Überwachungssysteme sind sicher eine Bank an Umsatz. Die Phantasie steckt in meinen Augen in dem Produkt PEM Fuel Cell. Der 12 V Markt ist gigantisch.

Danke für Deine positiven Worte.

Warum die BLDP-Aktionäre so reagieren sollten, kann ich leider nicht nachvollziehen. Ich werde mich jedenfalls nicht selber in die Pfanne hauen, da ich selber diese Aktien besitze .

Positive und negative Meinungen wird es immer geben - sonst hätten wir kein Käufer- / Verkäufer-Verhältnis.

DCHT-Produkt: Thick Film Hydrogen Sensor

IN DEVELOPMENT

This product will provide reliable, low cost hydrogen leak detection.

An electrical signal runs through the wheatstone bridge. When hydrogen molecules come into contact with the bridge (which is fired on a ceramic base), there is a change in the electrical signal. The "green" blocks represent a protected area that the hydrogen molecules cannot penetrate. This area is compared with the exposed area and the resulting difference is interpreted into the presence of hydrogen. In development now at DCH`s California facility in cooperation with Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

DCHT-Produkt: Fiber Optic Hydrogen Sensor

IN DEVELOPMENT

This is a new generation hydrogen sensor that is intrinsically safe in explosive mixtures (since no wires are used that could result in a spark igniting the mixture). A chemochromatic effect provides a reaction that is interpreted into the amount of hydrogen in a given environment. This technology is in development at DCH`s California facility in cooperation with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

Hallo an die DCH Fangemeinde

Ich weiß nicht wie es Euch geht, aber ich hatte noch bei keiner Aktie die sich in meinem Besitz befindet, so wenig Ahnung von so etwas wie einem ungefähren Kursziel.....
Wie sieht es bei Euch aus ?
Wäre heute fast in Versuch gekommen bei dem "Ritt nach oben", kurz vor erreichen der 16 USD MArke zu verkaufen, habe es aber dann doch nicht getan.
Schwanke aber wirklich enorm, denn wenn man etwas positives von dem Treffen heute erfährt, dann könnte es nach den riesigen Kurszuwächsen der letzten Tage doch auch zum "sell on good news" kommen, oder was meint ihr ?

Habe wie gesagt keine Ahnung wie lange meine Nerven das noch mitmachen.
Obwohl irgendetwas in mir sagt -gerade wenn man sich doch mal intensiver mit DCH und dem Sektor allgemein beschäftigt- das wir erst am Anfang sind und sich noch `ne ganze Menge tun könnte.

Hat einer Neuigkeiten die den NASDAQ Wechsel betreffen ?
Die Bedingungen dafür sind doch auf jeden Fall erfüllt !?

Ich habe eine vielleicht etwas blöde Frage: Wieso finde ich diesen Thread nur mit der Board-Suchfunktion? Als Board wird dann Nasdaq angezeigt, aber direkt im Dow/Nasdaq-Board taucht der Thread nicht auf! Oder bin ich schon so besoffen von den 1500% Kursgewinn, die DCHT mir bisher gebracht hat ...
Zum Thema Gewinne mitnehmen: Ich warte noch bis Juni, dann aber steuerfrei.

Eine Anmerkung: Die Zahl der Aktien ist gemäß des letzten SEC-filings auf ca. 20 Mio gestiegen. Über die Ursache wurde in den USA viel gerätselt. Insbesondere über die Frage ob es wohl einen Blockverkauf an einen Investor gegeben hat. Die SEC-filings können bei www.freeedgar.com kostenlos und ohne Anmeldung eingesehen werden - gilt übrigens für alle US-Aktien.
Ein Hinweis: Die Kursentwicklung ist neben der Analystenkonferenz sicher auch durch den täglich erwarteten Zwischenbericht befeuert. Ich gehe jedenfalls davon aus daß die Umsätze stark gestiegen sind, wenngleich das Unternehmen dieses Jahr noch nicht profitabel sein wird.

DCHT ist leider (noch) ein OTC-Wert, wird also nur in US gehandelt. Du kannst dort auch über einen deutschen Broker kaufen, benötigst dann aber eine WKN, die müsste 914358 sein. Bei OTC immer streng limitieren (und DCHT ist sehr volatil). Viel Glück!

An alle nochmal meine Frage: In welchem Board finde ich denn nun diesen Thread ??? Ich bekomme ihn irgendwie nur mit der Suchfunktion!
Direkt im Dow/Nasdaq-Board finde ich nix!

Zu SGL Carbon fällt mir nur mein OS CALL vor einem Jahr ein. Leider bin ich nicht mehr über den Wert informiert. Vieleicht steckt mehr in WO oder unter: www.traderboard.de.

eine solche Korrektur habe ich nun auch nicht erwartet. Ich denke, Du hast in beiden Fällen recht

a) Hättest Du verkauft - wäre OK
b) Hälst Du die Aktien - sie werden wieder steigen, daher - auch OK

Wenn die Story OK ist und man Geduld hat, zahlt sich das mehr aus, als das ständige Kaufen/Verkaufen. Ober das ist nur meine Meinung und es gibt sicher Daytrader und Leute, die in Sekunden mit Option schon x stellige Summen verdient haben.

Falls es Dir gefällt, eine Erfahrung die ich gemacht habe: Ein Pik nach oben gibt die Richtung der nächsten Wochen wieder. Und der Ausschlag gestern war mehr als eindeutig. Ich bin sehr optimistisch und wie der Summenchart oben anzeigt, steck aktuell die meiste Power in DCHT.

Vielen Dank für deinen Kommentar.
Eigentlich sehe ich das ähnlich wie Du.
Das ständige Kaufen/Verkaufen ist mir einfach zu stressig und auch da ist es natürlich verdammt schwer die richtigen Zeitpunkte zu erwischen.
Dies gestaltet sich natürlich -wenn man nicht ständig überwachen kann- als fast unmöglich, gerade bei einer so "schnellen" und volatil gehandeltenAktie wie DCH.

Da das Thema und die Branche derzeit recht "in" ist und sich die meistens Investoren damit noch nicht beschäftigen, fehlt wohl nur der kleine funke der DCH und CO nochmals richtig anheizt.
Gestern hatten wir eine Mcap von ca. 181 Mill. $ und das ist momentan für mich die einzige Bezugsgröße die mir recht sicher anzeigt das da noch einiges zu holen ist.
(O.K., keiner weiss genau wieviel diese Zukunft wert ist, aber wen hat das denn schon bei den I-Nets interessiert ....)
Sollten wir uns nun vorerst bei ca. 10 USD einpendeln, wird uns das hoffentlich ähnliche Möglichkeiten geben wie Anfang des Jahres.

Wir pendelten da nach erreichen des (kurzfristigen, damaligen) Allzeithochs zwischen ca. 5 - 10 USD. Sollte sich dies in den nächsten Tagen in der Region zwischen 10 und 15 USD abspielen, dann kann man wohl auf einen
ähnlichen Ansprung in höhere Regionen hoffen. Zumal gerade in den USA in der letzten Zeit ziemlich viel "Neue" dazugekommen sein müßten.

die MK ist eine der wesentlichsten Zahlen überhaupt. Beispiel: Wenn der Marktwert bei BLDP/DCHT um 100 M steigt, so sehen wir je nach Aktie ein Plus von 1% bzw > 50%. Und noch ein Vergleich: MSFT ca 500 B$, Deutsche Telekokom ca 250 B $ - wie groß ist hier wohl die Chance, daß die DT relativ rasch +100% oder mehr macht ? Daher, vor dem Kauf immer diesen Wert prüfen und die realen Gewinnchancen abschätzen. Deswegen auch meine Profitangabe weiter oben.

Sollte die Technik einschlagen, sehe die Zukunft in diesen Werten rosarot.

There are many possibilities contributing the soup here;

DCHT Director Robert Walker gave a killer address to members of HTAP and then NHA on the future of hydrogen, etc. As a Director of DCHT his comments are gold.

Those keynote`s have been filmed and are being edited for the Fuel Cell Venture Capital Group website and an announcement will be forthcoming upon completion via email to people whose email address is on file at [e-mail]

Anyone who has received updates from me in the past do not need to reapply.

Further;

Mr Dennis Reid, Director of Sales for DCHT was at the Discovery Expo conference all day yesterday on behalf of DCHT.

Throuout the day it was clear that DCHT was the most interesting company at the show, and Dennis had a working fuel cell demonstration that ran for 8 hours continuosly powering a small light and a radio.

AT NHA, DCHT had been powering a toy train, portable TV, and a light for Energy Control Devices, (ENER),

The NHA meetings were attended by both industry and press, and DCHT should receieve additional support in the media soon.

The relationship with Xybernaut has continued to improve.

DCHT will continue to benefit from the large following that XYBR has in the investment and journalist community.

Several people that I have met with lately have suggested that I have been too conservative in my estimates for DCHT

The calendar reads March 8, 2000,
and all targets have been achieved for the year putting us into an acceleration of the long term growth model.

When I first got involved with the company I thought it was going to be a 4 to 5 year project.

Recent events now suggest that the timetable has been moved up considerably; and that is what we are curently experiencing.

With the K and Q due in the next few weeks; Sid can be counted on to offer a substantive analysis of what the company states.

In my opinion, the only thing that really matters is what a company puts in its filings, not what it tells people, as people can infer into a conversation whatever they want. I dont know what the real issues are in this backlog situation, but it is reasonable to speculate that there were differences of opinion on what actually counts as a "backlog".

Regardless, the next 6 months are what counts; not the last.

We await the first analyst coverage of DCHT once they announce their application for Nasdaq.

Once one does it; they`ll all take notice,
and DCHT can then be another MKTY.

It would be a severe financial error to underestimate
this company going forward.

Danke Mo für die Kopie. Nur gut, daß zur Zeit so wenige die Aktie bemerkt haben. Dadurch ist die Chance auf noch viel höhere Kurse realistisch. Der Kurs steigt seit zwei Wochen wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Der Chart sieht sehr sehr gut aus. Wir werden noch viel Freunde haben.

Mo, ich mach gerne einen neuen Beitrag auf - lasse mich noch ein paar Stunden schlafen. Da ich nun Urlaub habe, kann ich die Umstellung vornehmen.

Auch wenn es sehr subjektiv ist, aber DCHT könnte eine fantastische Entscheidung gewesen sein. Ich liebe diese geringe MK mit der Perspektive.

Sorry, wenn ich keine Antwort auf Fragen suche/gebe - bin echt k o, wollte aber meine Freunde über den Kurs doch noch niederschreiben.

Haltet mich für verrückt oder nicht, aber ich leg mich wieder schlafen und denke erst wieder an einen Verkauf wenn wir
eine Mcap von mind. 1 - 2 Mrd. erreicht haben.......

Die Chancen stehen meiner Meinung ganz gut, da sich die meisten Investoren 100%ig in Richtung neuer "Boom-Branchen"
umsehen werden.
Nachdem der vielgelobte Biotech Bereich durch die Clinton Rede doch ziemlich gelitten hat (mein armer Fond *gg*)und die
ganze Internetstory in den USA momentan auch nicht mehr so richtig will, stehen die Chancen für unseren fuell cell Bereich und alles was dazugehört immer besser.

Jetzt warten wir nur noch auf die Aufnahme des heißersehnten NASDAQ Handels, eine erneute Aufnahme des Handels in Deutschland, ein paar Analysten und dann.....man wir sehen, aber ich bin recht zuversichtlich.

Hat einer von Euch `ne Idee wie lange das nun dauert bis wir das Symbol ändern und den Markt wechseln ?

glaubt ihr, dass dcht noch etwas zurückkommt (10-10,50) oder soll ich montags schon zuschlagen?

habe bis auf firstquote noch keine erfahrungen mit otc werten gemacht.
da ich an eine große korrektur im nasdaq glaube, möchte ich gerne wissen, ob sich otc werte grundsätzlich am gesamtmarkt orientieren, oder ob dieser keinen wesentlichen einfluß auf diese werte ausübt.

Hallo börsenfüxlein,
wenn Du an eine grosse Korrektur der Nasdaq glaubst (ich auch), solltest Du noch warten mit einem Einstieg in DCH. Weil: Wie es bei Korrekturen immer so ist, was vorher überdurchschnittlich gestiegen ist hat auch entsprechendes Rückschlagspotential. Oder kaufe dennoch und setze ein knappes stoploss. Beim Kauf würde ich ein relativ niedriges Limit setzen und ruhig ein paar Tage Geduld haben, DCH war schon immer sehr volatil!

danke für die info. ich hatte damals den titel direkt an der otc gekauft. daher hab ich den titel immer direkt in amerika verfolgt. unter yahoo, nasdaq usw. konnte DCH immer unter DCHT.OB gefunden werden.
in der zwischenzeit ist auch klar warum yahoo das symbol nicht mehr nachgeführt hat: fälschlicherweise wurde durch den übergang nach amex bei yahoo zuerst das symbol "DCHT" eröffnet. jetzt ist aber alles ok. DCH ist das richtige symbol und auch korrekt aktualisiert...und erfreulicherweise heute auch auf $5.5 gestiegen...

purchased the Enable(TM) system after a comprehensive analysis of alternative fuel

power management technologies -- offer a clean, reliable, and responsive solution
to power quality issues worldwide.

unique super capacitors, engineers now have a solution that has high reliability

EPRI PEAC demonstrated the system yesterday to more than 50 global utilities at

a 200 VDC load, 400 VDC load, or 208 VAC line or load. The proton exchange membrane
(PEM) technology of the system`s Enable(TM) fuel cell minimizes parasitic energy
consumption.

"Enable is aggressively developing fuel cells for the electric utility
industry," said Enable FCC Vice President and General Manager Stephanie Hoffman.
"The EPRI PEAC system represents a highly efficient and responsive solution to
grid overload. But that`s just the tip of the potential of fuel cells in this market.

DANBURY, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 23, 2000--FuelCell Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:FCEL) announced that
its Board of Directors has declared a 100 percent stock dividend on its common stock, having the effect of a two-for-one
stock split.

Stockholders of record on September 6, 2000 will be entitled to one additional share of common stock for each share of
the Company`s common stock held on that date.

The payment date for the stock dividend will be September 13, 2000. On or about that date, certificates for the new
shares will be mailed to stockholders by the Company`s transfer agent, Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company.
