Rambus to Request NASDAQ Hearing Regarding Stock Listing; Receives Expected Notification for Missing 10-Q Filing Date
LOS ALTOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 2006--Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ:RMBS) today announced that it plans to request a hearing before the NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel following the receipt of a NASDAQ Staff Determination notice stating that the Company is not in compliance with NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(14). This notice was received because the Company was not timely in filing its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the period ended June 30, 2006. However, there can be no assurance that the hearing panel will grant the Company's request for continued listing. Pending a decision by the Panel, Rambus' common stock will remain listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market.
As previously announced, the Audit Committee of the Rambus Board of Directors is conducting an independent investigation to review the Company's historical stock option grant practices and related accounting. The Company had previously disclosed on July 19, 2006 that it would not be able to file its Form 10-Q on time while the investigation is ongoing. The Audit Committee is making every effort to complete its investigation, and the Company will make every effort to file its restated financial reports as soon as practicable after the completion of the investigation.

Deswegen bin ich ihm auch die lange Zeit über treu geblieben, da ich mich hier jederzeit in kurzer Zeit umfassend über die jeweils aktuelle Situation bei Rambus informieren konnte. Dies scheint nun nicht mehr der Fall zu sein.
In der jetzigen Form biete mir der Thread nicht mehr die Informationen, die ich benötige. Diese muss ich mir jetzt offensichtlich ebenfalls woanders besorgen.
Dass w:o die "guten" User aus einem Thread vergrault und diesen dadurch quasi unbrauchbar macht, ist schon mehr als seltsam.

Sehr schade. Mit Kashoggi, Ville und vlnet sind die wichtigsten Informationsquellen weg. Die komplexe Patentlage war so schön komprimiert hier.
Als ich dann rückwärts gelesen, konnte ich die Reaktionen verstehen. Ich empfand einen Teil der Beiträge von MadMod als Provokation. Und Sprüche wie der mit den Flötentönen sollte man sich sowieso in so einer Situation sparen.
Keiner der genannten User ist mir, seit ich den Rambus thread verfolge, negativ aufgefallen, aber so etwas können intelligente User nicht einfach schlucken, das ist doch klar.
Und wo es steht, dass man nicht von Zeit zu Zeit seinen Nick wechseln kann, weiß ich nicht? Bitte die Stelle und nicht irgendeinen Grund an den Haaren herbeiziehen.

(NASDAQ:RMBS) announced today that Geoff Tate, former CEO of the Company from 1990 through 2005, has given notice of his intention to resign from its Board of Directors.
