Hallo!

Bin schon seit langem in dieser Aktie investiert. Leider gibt es sehr wenig Infos zu dem Wert.

Früher nannten die sich "Golden Power" und hatten hauptsächlich mit der Produktion von Batterien zu tun.

Nach der Umbenennung in "China City Gas" wollte die Firma in das Gas-Geschäft einsteigen. Leider gibt es hierzu keine Infos, in wie weit das geklappt hat. Jedenfalls haben die wohl die Reste Ihres Batteriegeschäftes unlängst abgestoßen.

Für einen im Grunde am Boden zerstörten Wert sind die heutigen Umsätze recht beachtlich.

Date 5 October 2004 Issuer China City Natural Gas Holdings Limited Subscriber ICP Inc. The Subscriber was introduced to the Company by Mr Masanori Suzuki, the deputy chairman of the Company. ICP Inc. has agreed to subscribe forthe Convertible Notes in an aggregate principal amount of US$2,000,000. Neither ICP Inc. nor its beneficial owners are connected person of the Company as defined under the Listing Rules. ICP Inc. and its beneficial owners are independent third partiesnot connected with any substantial shareholder, chief executive and/or directors of the Company and of its subsidiaries and their respective associates. ICP Inc. is a venture capital company with limited liability incorporated in Japan in 1999. Itis principally involved in asset management and investment in the technology sector and is currently managing an asset portfolio of approximately US$35,000,000. ICP Inc. is also the financial consultant to certain reputable listed companies in Japan. Completion of subscription for the Convertible Notes The Subscription Agreement is not subject to any condition precedent. Nippon Asia (0603) considers selling gas inv biz

(Infocast News) Nippon Asia Investments (0603) Financial Controller Kenny To said that while the company has always been optimistic about the natural gas business, it is difficult to own controlling stake in such businesses and vast investments are required for such projects. Accordingly, the company does not rule out the possibility of disposing its natural gas investment projects.

He noted that after disposing the non-core operations the company`s future role will become an investment company.

The company posted a net loss of $215 million for the financial year ended July 31, with $155 million of the losses being provisions made for long-term investments.

(Infocast News) Nippon Asia Investments (0603) Financial Controller Kenny To projected that the first phase of the Shanghai Holdfast acquisition will be completed in the next few months for the consideration in cash plus stock. The funding will come primarily from the $50 million raised from the earlier placing, but the actual consideration will be determined by the valuation of Shanghai Holdfast.

He noted that Shanghai Holdfast will become the company`s important strategic partner and the company may make further placings when it builds up its shareholding in Shanghai Holdfast in future. The company has $100 million of cash in hand as at present.
