für mich ist fslr der topfavorit im gesamtmarkt auf sicht von einem halben jahr!
wer in einem derartig miserablen gesamtmarktumfeld wie seit november ein neues ath markiert, die gewinnschätzungen drastisch erhöht und in der branche die beste relative stärke zum gesamtmarkt aufbaut, der ist zu allem fähig. vorausgesetzt natürlich, wir sehen im nächsten halben jahr einen neuen bullenmarkt. wenn ich auf aktien tippen sollte, die sich in dieser zeit verdreifachen oder vervierfachen könnten, wäre fslr meine erste wahl.
im moment leider sehr heiß gelaufen, eine abkühlung in form eines seitwärtstrends von zwei bis drei wochen würden nicht schaden, dann sollte aber die nächste rakete gestartet werden.

KULIM: US-First Solar Inc., ein Hersteller von Solarzellen, hat begonnen Bauarbeiten für die zweite und dritte Solarpanel Pflanzen als Teil ihrer RM2bil Projekt in Kulim Hi-Tech Park in Kedah.
Während die erste Anlage wird voraussichtlich in diesem Monat beginnen Operationen, die zweite und die dritte Anlagen werden voraussichtlich durch operative Jahresende. Die Arbeit an der vierten Werk wird später beginnen.
Kulim Technology Park Corp Gruppe Chief Executive Officer Datuk Ahmad Shukri Tajuddin gesagt war dies die erste Solar-Panel-Fertigung in Asien.

Er sagte, die Sonnenkollektoren oder Dünnschicht Photovoltaik-Platten verwendet wurden für die Erzeugung von Solarstrom und für den Export nach Europa.
"Die erste Anlage wird 350 Mitarbeiter beschäftigen und erwartet das Unternehmen beschäftigt über 1200 Arbeiter, wenn alle Anlagen sind in Betrieb," sagte er in einem Interview.
Die Sonnenkollektoren, die mit Hilfe fortschrittlicher Dünnschicht Halbleiter-, Solar-Strom deutlich senkt die Kosten und gibt Strom aus erneuerbaren Energien zu erschwinglichen Kosten.
Ahmad Shukri sagte Bauarbeiten für die erste Anlage begann im April und die RM2bil Investitionen von First Solar war die größte für den Park im vergangenen Jahr, so dass insgesamt Investitionen in den Park bis heute auf RM23bil.
Die vier First Solar Anlagen würden auf einem 40ha Website der dritten Phase des Parks Industriegebiet, sagte er und fügte hinzu, dass die vierte und die fünfte Phase der Industriezone, umfasst über 400ha, wäre später ins Leben gerufen.
Einundzwanzig Fertigungsunternehmen und Support Service 30 Unternehmen wurden befindet sich derzeit in Phase eins und zwei, die 1640ha, mit einer Gesamtfläche von 16000 Beschäftigten, sagte Ahmad Shukri.

KULIM: US-based First Solar Inc, a manufacturer of solar panels, has started construction work on the second and third solar panel plants as part of its RM2bil project at Kulim Hi-Tech Park in Kedah.
While the first plant is scheduled to begin operations this month, the second and third plants are expected to be operational by year-end. Work on the fourth plant will commence later.
Kulim Technology Park Corp group chief executive officer Datuk Ahmad Shukri Tajuddin said this was the first solar panel manufacturing operations in Asia.

He said the solar panels or thin film photovoltaic panels were used for generating solar power and for exports to Europe.
“The first plant will employ 350 workers and the company expects to employ about 1,200 workers when all plants are operational,” he said in an interview.
The solar panels, which are produced using advanced thin film semiconductor process, significantly lowers solar electricity costs and provides renewable electricity at affordable costs.
Ahmad Shukri said construction work on the first plant started last April and the RM2bil investment by First Solar was the biggest for the park last year, making total investments at the park to date at RM23bil.
The four First Solar plants would be located on a 40ha site of the third phase of the park’s industrial zone, he said, adding that the fourth and fifth phases of the industrial zone, encompassing about 400ha, would be launched later.
Twenty-one manufacturing companies and 30 support service companies were currently located at phases one and two, covering 1,640ha, with a total workforce of 16,000, Ahmad Shukri said.
He said companies from the US and Japan were the major investors at the park, making up more than 50% of the current investments.
“We are in midst of finalising a few investment proposals with electronics and semi-conductor industries from the US, Europe and Japan,” he said.

In a research report issued this morning, Soleil Securities Group raised its FY08 and FY09 earnings estimates on First Solar (Nasdaq: FSLR). The firm currently has a Buy rating and $250 price target on shares of First Solar.
The firm dramatically increased its FY08 EPS estimate from $2.52 to $3.50, saying that consensus estimates will continue to move higher over the next several quarters. Also, Soleil raised its FY09 estimate on First Solar from $5.14 to $5.55. Wall Street is currently estimating FY08 and FY09 EPS estimates of $2.48 and $5.06, respectively.
Soleil believes Street consensuses will need to come up in order to be in-line as First Solar "will continue to increase its module output per manufacturing line faster than is built into" the stock.
Notably, Soleil's $250 price target on First Solar represents upside potential of 14% from yesterday's closing price of $220.19. First Solar stock is moving up in pre-market trading: shares are indicated higher by almost $6 or about 2%.

In a research report issued this morning, Soleil Securities Group raised its FY08 and FY09 earnings estimates on First Solar (Nasdaq: FSLR). The firm currently has a Buy rating and $250 price target on shares of First Solar.
The firm dramatically increased its FY08 EPS estimate from $2.52 to $3.50, saying that consensus estimates will continue to move higher over the next several quarters. Also, Soleil raised its FY09 estimate on First Solar from $5.14 to $5.55. Wall Street is currently estimating FY08 and FY09 EPS estimates of $2.48 and $5.06, respectively.

EDF Energies Nouvelles and First Solar have signed a supplemental agreement to their July 2007 deal, expanding the size of the order from 230 MWp to 290 MWp. The modules provided by First Solar will be used to build primarily ground-based photovoltaic plants in Europe - particularly in France.
EDF Energies Nouvelles says this additional order is consistent with its policy of securing an adequate supply of photovoltaic panels (430 MWp already secured between 2007 and 2012). It is intended to cover the acceleration of its expansion in solar energy, which is targeted at 400 MWp for its own account and for third parties by 2011.

The president of solar-panel maker First Solar Inc. exercised options for 10,000 shares of common stock, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
In Form 4s filed with the SEC Thursday, Bruce Sohn reported he exercised the options on Tuesday for $4.54 apiece, then sold all 10,000 shares on the same day for $201 to $205.25 apiece.
The stock sale was conducted under a prearranged 10b5-1 trading plan which allows a company insider to set up a program in advance for such transactions and proceed with them even if he or she comes into possession of material non-public information.
Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.
