LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 27, 2007 -- Matrixx Resource Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB:MXXR.OB - News) announced today that the Fite No. 3 well at Sandy Point is drilling at 3,876 feet.

The Company has been notified by the operator that, as of early this morning, drilling has reached a depth of 3,876 feet. Drilling began Friday, March 23 and is expected to take approximately 10 days to reach the target depth of 7,000 feet. Upon reaching target depth, the well will be logged, and should there be a discovery, completed. This process will take an additional few days.
The Sandy Point Field, located in Brazoria County, was discovered in 1937, and 60 acres yielded 665,000 BO from the 2nd Frio sand. Also, in the nearby W. Sandy Point Field, the Shepperd No.1 Fite has produced 250,000 BO, and 150 MMCFG, from the 1st and 2nd and 3rd Frio sands.
The Express No.1 Fite re-established production in Sandy Point Field in 2002. The 1st Frio sand has gas-on-oil and the 2nd Frio sand (the main pay in Sandy Point Field) has good oil shows in cuttings and sidewall cores.
3-D Seismic, along with well control, confirm that the Express well discovered a new, productive structure. However, the No. 1 Fite well is located low or flankish on the structure. The objective of the Fite No. 3 well is to drill to the 6,700 to 7,000 depth and find structural advantage on the order of magnitude of 10\' to 20\' over the No. 1 well. The results should be a 1st Frio gas sand of 10\' net pay thickness, and 2nd Frio oil sand of 10\' net pay thickness. The recoverables attributable to such a development well are estimated to be 0.4 BCFG and 500,000 BO.

Ein Tip: Stöber mal das Internet durch, z.B. bei Google, und gib Matrixx Resources = Was man nicht so nicht so wußte, kommt dann bestimmt an das Tageslicht.

Sure would be nice to get an update on Clovelly thrown in the PR too...especially if we don't strike.
IMO only Clovelly gives this stock the chance to re-test and surpass last years highs...this COULD actually be a 'dime' stock (quarter?) instead of a penny!

Hello all. When it said John was out of town he could have been here at Sandy Point. Dont know just a thought. When I talk with him I will ask him about Clovelly and also remind him that yes Silence does speak volumes and that it probably would drive up the share price us and other investors just knowing that it will be drilled. Again, me being in this business, it does take time to get a rig, especially a big rig to drill that deep. They may have had it scheduled, say March 1st, but we all know delays happen. So if another site had a delay or the rig was at two diffent sights before that could affect the timing. I believe they will drill it. There is too much there not to. It would not make since to walk away from the Gas that is there anyway. We all know that was there. They stated that and that alone was part of the problem. So let me meet with him and discuss this with him before the Bashers get it.

Die refraktionsseismische Methode findet einerseits Anwendung für kleinräumige geologische und ingenieurgeologische Probleme in Form der Hammerschlagseismik bis zu Tiefen von etwa 50m, insbesondere jedoch zur sprengseismischen Erforschung des Gesamtaufbaus der Erdkruste und des obersten Erdmantels bis zu Tiefen von 30-100 Km. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA--(MARKET WIRE)--Aug 30, 2006 -- Matrixx Resource Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB:MXXR.OB - News), announced today that it has met with the operator late last week to discuss the status and options surrounding the Allain-Lebreton No.2 well on the Clovelly Prospect.
ADVERTISEMENT
After carefully reviewing the available options, it has been determined at this point to initiate several courses of action. Certain discoveries and findings previously announced while drilling the No. 2 well has caused drilling a "twin" hole to become a certain and viable option. A twin hole is described as drilling a well adjacent to an existing well, such as the No. 2 well. Additionally, for economical feasibility, it is planned to drill as soon as practicable, an additional well known as a PUD (Proven, Undeveloped) well up-structure to a target depth of 12,500. The PUD recoverable reserves are estimated at 250,000 barrels of oil with an upward potential of 500,000 barrels.
Drilling of the twin will take place to the expected "M" sand. The Company expects drilling of the twin to take place near the original well so that we may tap into the first gas discovery found; while, simultaneously at a distance as not to encounter unfavorable conditions as a result from the initial hole. This is done to maintain the integrity of the new drilling location.
The No. 2 well encountered a two foot gas discovery, but due to the location of the hole, the drilling may have occurred offset whereby an additional 28 feet of discovery may exist containing up to 5 Bcfg (billion cubic feet of gas) valued at nearly $35 million. While the gas discovery might be considered as an added benefit, the intended cause of drilling the twin is primarily to target what is known as the "M" sand at or about 14,300 feet to 14,500 feet with a prospective size of 10 to 11 million barrels of oil. The Clovelly field has produced over 30 million barrels of oil, most of which occurred in the "M" sand.
Drilling of the PUD well will likely occur prior to, or concurrently with, the drilling of the twin well and is expected to assist in offsetting cash outlays required for the new well. It is anticipated that this will occur in the late fourth quarter 2006 or early first quarter 2007. Expectations are to drill to the proven undeveloped target zone in order begin sales on the Clovelly prospect.
Drilling of the No. 2 twin may require a rig capable drilling to deeper depths and with additional horsepower to withstand gas pressure as encountered in the previous well. We have taken an immediate, proactive response and are in line to receive such rig. Lastly, the decision was made based primarily on the fact that cost associated with washing and sidetracking versus twinning a new hole was marginal. The controlling and safety factor of a new hole and the PUD well versus washing and sidetracking was not.
While global political turmoil continues to keep oil prices near $70 per barrel and some recent analysts' reports predict that oil could reach as high as $100 a barrel in the near future, the Company is moving forward in its efforts to acquiring additional growth and investment opportunities in this natural resource sector with the intent of providing the Company and its shareholders a much-improved increase in shareholder value. The Company is focused on increasing value by means on continuing acquisitions, development projects and exploration drilling through joint venture networks.

We did, and we are most likely going to have a follow up early next week.
We had to have time to contact the other partners and the land owner
regarding what we (the group of us that actually did meet) want to do. We
needed to find out who still wants in or out as to who can afford to stay
involved. Some do not and there are some ownership that may be up for sale.
Some parties are interested and needs some negotiation. So everyone is
working this out. Hopefully it will be clearer next week after we get back
from Texas.

It is difficult to answer some of your questions. You ask for when updates will be provided and that I cannot do as it wont be fair not to say the same to other shareholders. As far as clovelly is concerned the Company and some of its partners in the Clovelly Prospect have been meeting recently to discuss the redrillling of the well. We plan to continue these discussions over the very near future so we can move forward sooner than later on the prospect. We plan to update the shareholders soon with these developments.

Texhoma. His office is down the road from Sunray. He said he will get back
to us with an update when he hears. Also, When things get more clear
regarding Clovelly (hopefully when I visit with them next week), we will
update the shareholders with the Company's and the partner's intentions. We
have been working on this diligently the last two weeks and we do know that
this is important to the shareholders. It is to everyone involved.

Die refraktionsseismische Methode findet einerseits Anwendung für kleinräumige geologische und ingenieurgeologische Probleme in Form der Hammerschlagseismik bis zu Tiefen von etwa 50m, insbesondere jedoch zur sprengseismischen Erforschung des Gesamtaufbaus der Erdkruste und des obersten Erdmantels bis zu Tiefen von 30-100 Km. Für den 2-Schichtenfall gilt wiederum:

The Hazard Lake Property is located in Earngey Township, 80 km northeast of
the town of Ear Falls, Ontario, in the Red Lake Mining District. The property
consists of three unpatented claims with a total area of approximately 355
hectares.
The Hazard Lake Property area lies within the Archean Birch-Uchi Greenstone
Belt of the western Uchi Subprovince of NW Ontario. The property is underlain by
Cycle II volcanics and mafic to ultramafic intrusives. The volcanics are
predominantly interbedded tuffs and ignimbrites. All rock types have been
regionally metamorphosed to greenschist facies.
The most significant mineralization discovered on the Hazard Lake property to
date is at the Northgate and Milberry occurrences. Northgate Exploration drill
tested the “Northgate Occurrence” in 1959, with one hole intersecting 0.4 ounces
per ton Au over 3.3 feet at 500 feet deep. At this time, Northgate calculated a
resource of 64,600 tons grading 0.28 ounces gold per ton. This resource
constitutes a “historical resource” in the context of N.I. 43-101.
The mineralization at the Milberry Occurrence is believed to be the extension of
the Hill-Sloan-Tivy vein north of the property (see Figures 4 & 5). The vein strikes
N28°E and can be traced for a length of 228.7 metres (Thurston 1985). Drilling
on the Milberry Occurrence has returned assays up to 107.31 g/T Au over 0.91
metres, 151.54 g/T Au over 0.67 metres, 81.94 g/T Au over 0.76 metres, and
44.29 g/T Au over 0.91 metres.
The Hazard Lake Property is located in Earngey Township (Figure 1 and 2), 80
km northeast of the town of Ear Falls, Ontario. The property consists of three
unpatented claims with a total area of approximately 480 hectares. The claims
are all held in good standing by Perry English (1544230 Ontario Inc.) The claim
dispositions are listed in Table 1.
Under an agreement with 1544230 Ontario Inc., OIBA has an option to acquire a
100% interest in the property subject to a 1.5% Net Smelter Royalty (“NSR”), by
completing a schedule of payments totalling $112,000 and issuing 175,000
shares of Vinoble, Inc. over a three year period. OIBA can also buy back 50% of
the NSR for $1,000,000.

The Hazard Lake property lays approximately 80 kilometres east-northeast of the
town of Ear Falls, Ontario. Between spring and fall, the area can accessed via
floatplane from Red Lake or Ear Falls.
Lakes cover approximately 20% of the property. Topography is generally gentle
with elevations ranging from 400 to 420 meters above sea level. A mixed forest
of mostly spruce, balsam, poplar and birch covers the claims, with swampy
vegetation in low-lying areas and local areas of forest blow-down.
Temperatures range from highs of 35oC in summer to lows of –40o C in winter,
with snow cover between November and May. The best season for exploration is
between June and October, although in lake covered or swampy areas
exploration activities such as geophysical surveys and diamond drilling might
best be conducted after winter freeze up.
The Red Lake district, population 4,700, is located at the end of Highway #105
which is 175 km north of Kenora on the Trans-Canada highway. The town is
serviced by regular air flights from Thunder Bay and Winnipeg, 7 days a week.
The local population includes skilled tradesmen and experienced underground
miners. All necessary supplies are available locally or in Winnipeg and Thunder
Bay.
Assessment records at the Red Lake Resident Geologist Office of the Ontario
Ministry of Northern Development and Mines have been reviewed to determine
the previous work on the property.
1937: The property was originally held by Woco Gold Developments and B.
Milberry. Woco’s prospector F. Bregkvist discovered the quartz vein at what is
now known as the Northgate occurrence. The vein was stripped, trenched and
channel sampled. Assays from the channels reportedly returned an average of
0.41 oz/ton Au over 4.5 feet over a length of 205 feet. Woco subsequently drilled
the occurrence, but no logs or assay data are available. The property was
optioned to a group of five companies who drilled the occurrence to a depth of
300 feet. As a result of this drilling, it was suggested that the zone plunges to the
north as drilling at the south end of the zone failed to intersect mineralization.
1949: H.C. Hanson staked the area and drilled 7 diamond drill holes in 1951.
These holes have not been accurately located, but apparently they were drilled to
the north and east of the Northgate occurrence. The work was not submitted until
1961, by which time the claims had lapsed.
1958: Sidney Thompson staked 17 claims, covering the Northgate occurrence,
and optioned them to Kirk-Hudson Mines, which became Northgate Exploration.
1959: Northgate Exploration tested the gold zone (the “Northgate Occurrence”,
see Figures 4 & 5) to a depth of 500 feet with 7 drill holes (891 metres). Maps
show a total of 38 holes with one hole intersecting 0.4 ounces per ton Au over 3.3
feet at 500 feet deep. At this time, Northgate calculated a resource of 64,600 tons
grading 0.28 ounces gold per ton. This resource constitutes a “historical
resource” in the context of N.I. 43-101. The claims were then taken to lease.
1969: Tashota-Nipigon Mines conducted a program of geological mapping with a
ground magnetic survey, under the supervision of Kuryliw (1969). The Milberry
vein (the “Milberry Occurrence”, Figure 5) was traced for a length of 228.7
metres.
1981: Northgate cleaned out the old trenches and geologically mapped the
showing. A cut grid was completed with mapping and geophysics (magnetics and
VLF-EM) surveys performed.
1982: Northgate optioned the property to Orofino Resources Ltd.. Orofino
contracted Aerodat Limited to complete an airborne geophysics (magnetic and
VLF-EM) program over an expanded claim block. Geological mapping and
soil/humus sampling were also completed.
1985-86: Orofino Resources drilled a total of 25 holes for 2020 metres on the
property, focusing on the Milberry Occurrence (Figure 5). Significant assays from
this drilling are listed in Table 2 below. Results of the 1986 holes were
disappointing, with all assays being trace to 0.02 oz/ton.

1996: Wolfden Resources optioned the property from Perry English and
conducted an EM geophysical survey.
The Hazard Lake Property area lies within the Archean Birch-Uchi Greenstone
Belt of the western Uchi Subprovince of NW Ontario. This belt records a
stratigraphic history that spanned approximately 290 Ma, involving repeated
episodes of rifting, and associated depositional and magmatic phases.
Unconformity-bounded sequences of mafic to felsic volcanic strata and primarily
clastic sedimentary strata accumulated between ca. 2992 Ma and 2700 Ma upon
a complex extensional architecture, which largely formed the template upon
which later compressional structures were superimposed.
Supracrustal strata in the belt have been subdivided into 3 volcano-sedimentary
mega-cycles (Stott & Corfu 1992, Thurston 1985) each comprising variably mafic
to felsic volcanic strata and subordinate clastic sedimentary strata. From oldest to
youngest these mega-cycles are comprise the following assemblages:
• The Balmer Assemblage (2987 Ma) is primarily an Fe-tholeiitic sequence
of mafic volcanic strata, with minor interbeds of banded iron formation.
The distribution of this assemblage is restricted to the extreme western
edge of the Birch-Uchi Belt immediately adjacent to the Trout Lake
Batholith.
• The Woman Assemblage (2858 Ma) is also primarily an Fe-tholeiitic
sequence of mafic volcanic strata, with minor interbeds of banded
chemical sediments and pyritic siltstones and shales. This assemblage is
unconformable or paraconformable on the Balmer assemblage and occurs
along the western edge of the Birch-Uchi Belt stratigraphically above the
Balmer Assemblage.
• The Confederation Lake Assemblage (2750-2700Ma) is by far the most
aerially extensive assemblage in the belt. It is comprises an assemblage
of intermediate to felsic flows and pyroclastic strata, which are
unconformably overlain by conglomeratic to argillaceous rift-related
sediments. The Confederation Lake Assemblage also has minor interbeds
or banded iron formation.
At least 3 phases of regional deformation affected the area resulting in the
widespread development of folds, axial planar fabrics, and ductile shear zones.
D1 deformation involved NW-SE shortening, the development of NE to N-striking
folds and faults. Evidence for this D1 event is best preserved in the southern part
of the belt in the Confederation Lakes area. D2 deformation involved NE-SW to
N-S shortening and the development of ~E-W to WNWESE striking regional
folds, faults and fabrics. This event is manifested to varying degrees throughout
the belt from the Casummit Lake area in the north to the Slate Lake area in the
south. D3 deformation appears to have involved renewed E-W shortening and is
restricted to the northern part of the belt in the Mink Lake/Casummit Lake area.
This shortening event resulted in the buckling of the regional S2 foliation into N-S
folds. This event was accompanied by N-S striking S3 crenulation cleavage and
ENE plunging F3 fold development.
The following description of the property geology is based on Zinn (1984). The
property geology is shown in Figure 4.
The property is underlain by Cycle II volcanics and mafic to ultramafic intrusives.
The volcanics are predominantly interbedded tuffs and ignimbrites. All rock types
have been regionally metamorphosed to greenschist facies. The general rock
types are summarized below.
Mafic Volcanics: relatively thin bedded, pillow to pillow breccia flows and tuffs.
These are typical of greenschist facies basalts in that they are strongly chloritic
with minor epidote and sulphides. Rare amphiboles within pillows. Weathered
surfaces are green-grey while fresh surfaces are dark green.
Intermediate Volcanics: primarily subaqueous tuffs and lapilli tuffs. They are
fine grained, weather grey, and are light green on fresh surfaces. Occasional
bedding.
Felsic Volcanics: primarily rhyolitic tuffs and lapilli tuffs. Weathers white; pale
yellow-grey on fresh surface. Typically exhibits 1-5% disseminated pyrite as fine
euhedral crystals. The rhyolite tuff on the shore of Uchi Lake contains up to 10%
pyrite. Returned consistently low gold assays.
Chemical Metasediments: this unit is found in a topographic depression just

formation. Unit has been interpreted as an exhalites deposit, deposited during a
hiatus in volcanism. Occurs at the top of a volcanic cycle lapping a rhyolite tuff.
Mafic to Ultramafic Intrusives: range from diorite to olivine gabbro. Occur as
lenticular pods paralleling regional stratigraphy, usually between flows.
Weathered surface is tinged orange-brown typical of ultramafics, and the fresh
surface is dark green or green and white. Units are coarsely crystalline with
feldspar laths 2-3 mm in length.
Gold mineralization in the Earngey Township area has been described as
occurring in four modes (Thomson 1938):
1) Quartz veins and stringers filling fractures, principally in mafic flows,
metagabbro, and felsic pyroclastics, with associated sulphide
minerals and carbonates also carrying anomalous gold values.
2) Fissure veins filled with quartz, minor carbonate and tourmaline. This
type is considered by Thurston (1985) to represent synvolcanic chert,
given the length, regularity of thickness, and consistency with
volcanic stratigraphy.
3) Shear zones occupied by sulphides and quartz veins.
4) Quartz veins and stringers in iron formation, which are of minor
importance in the area.
The most significant mineralization discovered on the Hazard Lake property to
date is at the Northgate and Milberry occurrences (Figures 4 & 5). At the
Northgate occurrence, Thurston (1985) describes the mineralization as being a
vein system varying in width from 0.9 to 9.2 metres, with a succession of a mixed
pillow lava-hyaloclastite unit, followed by rhyolite, and then the mineralized vein.
The vein trends N40°E and dips steeply west, and has been traced over a strike
length of approximately 250 metres.
The mineralization at the Milberry Occurrence is believed to be the extension of
the Hill-Sloan-Tivy vein north of the property (see Figures 4 & 5). The vein strikes
N28°E and can be traced for a length of 228.7 metres (Thurston 1985), although
the vein was not located by Thurston himself, and Kuryliw (1969) states that the
area is generally swampy. Thomson (1938) states that the vein was traced by
drilling. The vein consists of quartz stringers and veins “closely associated with,
and may be a lean portion of, a band of oxide facies iron formation found to the
west of the lake “ (Kuryliw 1969). Kuryliw also describes the gold mineralization
as being of Type 3 in section 8.0 (Deposit Types) above, associated with sheared
rhyolite tuffs and other volcanics, and occurring with sulphides, quartz and
silicification.

The Hazard Lake Property is located in Earngey Township, 80 km northeast of

consists of three unpatented claims with a total area of approximately 355
hectares.
The Hazard Lake Property area lies within the Archean Birch-Uchi Greenstone
Belt of the western Uchi Subprovince of NW Ontario. The property is underlain by
Cycle II volcanics and mafic to ultramafic intrusives. The volcanics are
predominantly interbedded tuffs and ignimbrites. All rock types have been
regionally metamorphosed to greenschist facies.
The most significant mineralization discovered on the Hazard Lake property to
date is at the Northgate and Milberry occurrences. Northgate Exploration drill
tested the “Northgate Occurrence” in 1959, with one hole intersecting 0.4 ounces
per ton Au over 3.3 feet at 500 feet deep. At this time, Northgate calculated a
resource of 64,600 tons grading 0.28 ounces gold per ton. This resource
constitutes a “historical resource” in the context of N.I. 43-101.
The mineralization at the Milberry Occurrence is believed to be the extension of
the Hill-Sloan-Tivy vein north of the property (see Figures 4 & 5). The vein strikes
N28°E and can be traced for a length of 228.7 metres (Thurston 1985). Drilling
on the Milberry Occurrence has returned assays up to 107.31 g/T Au over 0.91
metres, 151.54 g/T Au over 0.67 metres, 81.94 g/T Au over 0.76 metres, and
44.29 g/T Au over 0.91 metres.
The Hazard Lake Property is located in Earngey Township (Figure 1 and 2), 80
km northeast of the town of Ear Falls, Ontario. The property consists of three
unpatented claims with a total area of approximately 480 hectares. The claims
are all held in good standing by Perry English (1544230 Ontario Inc.) The claim
dispositions are listed in Table 1.
Under an agreement with 1544230 Ontario Inc., OIBA has an option to acquire a
100% interest in the property subject to a 1.5% Net Smelter Royalty (“NSR”), by
completing a schedule of payments totalling $112,000 and issuing 175,000
shares of Vinoble, Inc. over a three year period. OIBA can also buy back 50% of
the NSR for $1,000,000.

The Hazard Lake property lays approximately 80 kilometres east-northeast of the
town of Ear Falls, Ontario. Between spring and fall, the area can accessed via
floatplane from Red Lake or Ear Falls.
Lakes cover approximately 20% of the property. Topography is generally gentle
with elevations ranging from 400 to 420 meters above sea level. A mixed forest
of mostly spruce, balsam, poplar and birch covers the claims, with swampy
vegetation in low-lying areas and local areas of forest blow-down.
Temperatures range from highs of 35oC in summer to lows of –40o C in winter,
with snow cover between November and May. The best season for exploration is
between June and October, although in lake covered or swampy areas
exploration activities such as geophysical surveys and diamond drilling might
best be conducted after winter freeze up.
The Red Lake district, population 4,700, is located at the end of Highway #105
which is 175 km north of Kenora on the Trans-Canada highway. The town is
serviced by regular air flights from Thunder Bay and Winnipeg, 7 days a week.
The local population includes skilled tradesmen and experienced underground
miners. All necessary supplies are available locally or in Winnipeg and Thunder
Bay.
Assessment records at the Red Lake Resident Geologist Office of the Ontario
Ministry of Northern Development and Mines have been reviewed to determine
the previous work on the property.
1937: The property was originally held by Woco Gold Developments and B.
Milberry. Woco’s prospector F. Bregkvist discovered the quartz vein at what is
now known as the Northgate occurrence. The vein was stripped, trenched and
channel sampled. Assays from the channels reportedly returned an average of
0.41 oz/ton Au over 4.5 feet over a length of 205 feet. Woco subsequently drilled
the occurrence, but no logs or assay data are available. The property was
optioned to a group of five companies who drilled the occurrence to a depth of
300 feet. As a result of this drilling, it was suggested that the zone plunges to the
north as drilling at the south end of the zone failed to intersect mineralization.
1949: H.C. Hanson staked the area and drilled 7 diamond drill holes in 1951.
These holes have not been accurately located, but apparently they were drilled to
the north and east of the Northgate occurrence. The work was not submitted until
1961, by which time the claims had lapsed.
1958: Sidney Thompson staked 17 claims, covering the Northgate occurrence,
and optioned them to Kirk-Hudson Mines, which became Northgate Exploration.
1959: Northgate Exploration tested the gold zone (the “Northgate Occurrence”,
see Figures 4 & 5) to a depth of 500 feet with 7 drill holes (891 metres). Maps
show a total of 38 holes with one hole intersecting 0.4 ounces per ton Au over 3.3
feet at 500 feet deep. At this time, Northgate calculated a resource of 64,600 tons
grading 0.28 ounces gold per ton. This resource constitutes a “historical
resource” in the context of N.I. 43-101. The claims were then taken to lease.
1969: Tashota-Nipigon Mines conducted a program of geological mapping with a
ground magnetic survey, under the supervision of Kuryliw (1969). The Milberry
vein (the “Milberry Occurrence”, Figure 5) was traced for a length of 228.7
metres.
1981: Northgate cleaned out the old trenches and geologically mapped the
showing. A cut grid was completed with mapping and geophysics (magnetics and
VLF-EM) surveys performed.
1982: Northgate optioned the property to Orofino Resources Ltd.. Orofino
contracted Aerodat Limited to complete an airborne geophysics (magnetic and
VLF-EM) program over an expanded claim block. Geological mapping and
soil/humus sampling were also completed.
1985-86: Orofino Resources drilled a total of 25 holes for 2020 metres on the
property, focusing on the Milberry Occurrence (Figure 5). Significant assays from
this drilling are listed in Table 2 below. Results of the 1986 holes were
disappointing, with all assays being trace to 0.02 oz/ton.

1996: Wolfden Resources optioned the property from Perry English and
conducted an EM geophysical survey.
The Hazard Lake Property area lies within the Archean Birch-Uchi Greenstone
Belt of the western Uchi Subprovince of NW Ontario. This belt records a
stratigraphic history that spanned approximately 290 Ma, involving repeated
episodes of rifting, and associated depositional and magmatic phases.
Unconformity-bounded sequences of mafic to felsic volcanic strata and primarily
clastic sedimentary strata accumulated between ca. 2992 Ma and 2700 Ma upon
a complex extensional architecture, which largely formed the template upon
which later compressional structures were superimposed.
Supracrustal strata in the belt have been subdivided into 3 volcano-sedimentary
mega-cycles (Stott & Corfu 1992, Thurston 1985) each comprising variably mafic
to felsic volcanic strata and subordinate clastic sedimentary strata. From oldest to
youngest these mega-cycles are comprise the following assemblages:
• The Balmer Assemblage (2987 Ma) is primarily an Fe-tholeiitic sequence
of mafic volcanic strata, with minor interbeds of banded iron formation.
The distribution of this assemblage is restricted to the extreme western
edge of the Birch-Uchi Belt immediately adjacent to the Trout Lake
Batholith.
• The Woman Assemblage (2858 Ma) is also primarily an Fe-tholeiitic
sequence of mafic volcanic strata, with minor interbeds of banded
chemical sediments and pyritic siltstones and shales. This assemblage is
unconformable or paraconformable on the Balmer assemblage and occurs
along the western edge of the Birch-Uchi Belt stratigraphically above the
Balmer Assemblage.
• The Confederation Lake Assemblage (2750-2700Ma) is by far the most
aerially extensive assemblage in the belt. It is comprises an assemblage
of intermediate to felsic flows and pyroclastic strata, which are
unconformably overlain by conglomeratic to argillaceous rift-related
sediments. The Confederation Lake Assemblage also has minor interbeds
or banded iron formation.
At least 3 phases of regional deformation affected the area resulting in the
widespread development of folds, axial planar fabrics, and ductile shear zones.
D1 deformation involved NW-SE shortening, the development of NE to N-striking
folds and faults. Evidence for this D1 event is best preserved in the southern part
of the belt in the Confederation Lakes area. D2 deformation involved NE-SW to
N-S shortening and the development of ~E-W to WNWESE striking regional
folds, faults and fabrics. This event is manifested to varying degrees throughout
the belt from the Casummit Lake area in the north to the Slate Lake area in the
south. D3 deformation appears to have involved renewed E-W shortening and is
restricted to the northern part of the belt in the Mink Lake/Casummit Lake area.
This shortening event resulted in the buckling of the regional S2 foliation into N-S
folds. This event was accompanied by N-S striking S3 crenulation cleavage and
ENE plunging F3 fold development.
The following description of the property geology is based on Zinn (1984). The
property geology is shown in Figure 4.
The property is underlain by Cycle II volcanics and mafic to ultramafic intrusives.
The volcanics are predominantly interbedded tuffs and ignimbrites. All rock types
have been regionally metamorphosed to greenschist facies. The general rock
types are summarized below.
Mafic Volcanics: relatively thin bedded, pillow to pillow breccia flows and tuffs.
These are typical of greenschist facies basalts in that they are strongly chloritic
with minor epidote and sulphides. Rare amphiboles within pillows. Weathered
surfaces are green-grey while fresh surfaces are dark green.
Intermediate Volcanics: primarily subaqueous tuffs and lapilli tuffs. They are
fine grained, weather grey, and are light green on fresh surfaces. Occasional
bedding.
Felsic Volcanics: primarily rhyolitic tuffs and lapilli tuffs. Weathers white; pale
yellow-grey on fresh surface. Typically exhibits 1-5% disseminated pyrite as fine
euhedral crystals. The rhyolite tuff on the shore of Uchi Lake contains up to 10%
pyrite. Returned consistently low gold assays.
Chemical Metasediments: this unit is found in a topographic depression just
west of Hazard Lake; outcrops on the shore as banded, cherty, oxide-facies iron
formation. Unit has been interpreted as an exhalites deposit, deposited during a

They have to file the 10Q or the NT by COB Tuesday IMHO. They get 45 days from close of the qtr, which ended on March 31.
April has 30 days, so that makes May 15th equals 45 days, extension adds 5 more business days or Tuesday next week.
And of course as bad as management is here they will file late yet again and then file next week.
From MXXR's most recent 10-QSB for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 filed February 20, 2007:
Clovelly Prospect.
"Drilling of the PUD well will likely occur prior to, or concurrently with, the drilling of the twin well and is expected to assist in offsetting cash outlays required for the new well. It is anticipated that this drilling will occur in the late first calendar quarter of 2007."
Obviously, since we are now in the 2nd quarter of 2007, this will have to updated in the 10-QSB for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 when filed either this week or next week to reflect the current status of Clovelly.
Hopefully, MXXR issues a Clovelly news release before the 10-QSB gets filed but, if not, at least we should get some kind of idea about the current status of Clovelly when the 10-QSB gets filed.
I'm still hoping when, if ever, an update on Clovelly is provided, that MXXR will have increased it's ownership interest from 5% to 10% or even greater. May not be likely but it would be a nice surprise.
