USA Video Interactive Stock in US to Trade Temporarily on National Quotation Bureau "Pink Sheets"
SEC Review of Form 10 Continues;
Trading on Canadian Venture Exchange Not Affected

MAY 3, 2000 - MYSTIC, CONNECTICUT - The U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission continues its review of the Form 10 filed by USA Video Interactive and effective Thursday, May 4, the Company`s stock in the United States will trade on the National Quotation Bureau`s so-called "pink sheets" under its original symbol: USVO. The Company`s stock on the Canadian Venture Exchange will not be affected; it will continue to trade under the symbol: US.

USA Video Interactive filed its Form 10 in February and in March filed an amended Form 10 and fully audited financials. The SEC responded in April with comments; the Company announced April 20 that the SEC review might not be completed before the May 3 deadline; and USA Video submitted its responses to the SEC on April 28. The SEC review continues. Once the SEC accepts the Company`s Form 10, USA Video Interactive will be designated a "fully reporting company" and will be eligible to resume trading on the OTC BB exchange. The shares of companies trading on the OTC BB and more senior exchanges can be bought and sold via the Internet; current regulations require that a stock brokerage handle transactions on the "pink sheets."

USA Video Interactive is strongly committed to resolving any comments the SEC may have on its filings and will respond promptly to any questions or comments raised by the SEC. While the Company cannot predict how long the process will take, it is a top priority to complete it as soon as possible and return to the OTC. In the meantime, the closing price of USVO will be posted daily on the www.usvo.com website.
