(BSNS WIRE) Urex Starts Drilling Argentine Uranium Property
Urex Starts Drilling Argentine Uranium Property
Business Editors
RENO, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)----
Urex Energy Corporation (the "Company" or "Urex")(OTCBB:URXE)
reports that drilling has started on the Company's Cerro Solo area
uranium property in Argentina.
Urex has completed six drill holes of a proposed Phase 1 drill
program that consists of 5000 meters of reverse circulation (RC)
drilling. Drill holes are testing extensions of the Cerro Solo uranium
deposit along trend to the north and south, as well as six other
targets defined by the recently completed airborne geophysical survey
and ground mapping.
Approximately 50 RC holes will be drilled with hole depth ranging
between 50 and 200 meters. Drill holes will target sandstone and
conglomerate units of the Lower Cretaceous Los Adobes Formation, which
hosts the Cerro Solo uranium deposit.
Surface geological mapping has identified large areas of Los
Adobes Formation rocks that are intact on the Company's claims, which
is encouraging because it provides additional potential targets.
N.A. Degerstrom Inc. of Mendoza, Argentina will be responsible for
the drilling program with an in-house technical group conducting the
down-the-hole gamma logging.
"The Company is excited that drilling has started at Cerro Solo
and pleased with the quality of the drill targets. We look forward to
reporting the results from the drilling in the coming days," stated
Richard Bachman, President - Urex. Energy Corp.
