Stans Energy submits mining licenses for Rare Earth

Stans Energy Corp announced the submission of documentation for the licensing requirements to the Kyrgyz Government for the Kutessay II Heavy Rare Earth Deposit and the Kalesay Beryllium deposit, news agencies reported.
Stans Energy is a development-stage company focused on progressing Heavy Rare Earth (HRE) properties in parts of the former Soviet Union. Rare earth elements have many uses in the high-tech and clean tech industries.
In 2009, the company acquired a 20-year mining license for the past-producing Kutessay II rare earth mine from the Kyrgyz Republic and in 2011 Stans completed the purchase of the Kashka Rare Earth Processing Plant, the same plant that previously refined rare earth elements (REEs) historically from Kutessay II. Stans Energy, COO, Boris Aryev, stated, “Mining licenses in Kyrgyzstan are comprised of two parts: License Certificate for the term of the license, which in Stans’ case is for the period 2009 through to 2029; and a Licensing Agreement which typically are negotiated for periods of two to five years with the Kyrgyz Ministry of Natural Resources. This Licensing Agreement underlines scope of work which will be undertaken to move the project towards production.”

Stans Energy dürfte bei all den Präsentationen und Konferenzen dieses Quartal jedem ins Gedächtnis gehämmert werden. Es bestehen also gute Chancen, dass auch der "Rohstoffexperte" bald dieses Unternehmen auf sein Radar bekomt!
Stans scheint ja auf jeder Rohstoffkonferenz Q1 2012 ein Thema zu sein. Da bin ich optimistisch, dass wir zuvor einiges an guten News sehen werden!

Hallo Faxe,
vielen Dank für die Kalkulationsgrundlage. Der aktuelle REE-Basketpreis von Stans hatte mir noch für meine Analyse gefehlt und die Berechnungen von likeshares sind ja auch schon etwas älter. Er hatte für Kutessay II mit einem REE-Basketpreis von 95,79$ (22.11.2010) gerechnet. Damals lagen wir also noch deutlich niedriger, als heute!

By the end of December, Stans submitted a complete report on the work done on all aspects of Kutessay II to the Kyrgyz Government. Along with this submission a request to extend the LA for a period of one year was tabled as well. The work done to date will allow Stans to proceed with the plans for Phase I development to restart mining operations at the historical Soviet levels of production.

Der Stans Basket hatte im Maximum sogar über 400USD/kg, aber damit solte man nicht rechnen.
Nimmt man den aktuellen Basket mit den Preisen von Kaiser Bottom Fish, hat Stans momentan ca. 220 USD/kg, bzw. im 3-Jahres-Durchschnitt ca. 108USD/kg.

Für eine PFS werden die nicht die Maximumwerte verwenden, d.h. sich eher an den Langzeitdurchschnitten orientieren.
... die Preise für Ho-Lu sind dabei relativ irrelevant, da sie nur ca. 4-6% des $-Baskets ausmachen. Für jemanden, der es noch ein wenig genauer haben möchte, kann man zur Kalulation auch noch die Preise von Asianmetal für Er (3,25% der TREO) und Yb (3,29% der TREO, Werte aus RMB umgerechnet) verwenden.
