Hartcourt Confirms That Shanghai Fiber-Based Broadband ISP Is `World`s First`
@Family Broadband Networks Is the First Commercial Broadband ISP in the World Offering 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps Internet Access to Residential Customers
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hartcourt Companies Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HRCT; Frankfurt: HCT), www.hartcourt.com, today responded to shareholder`s questions and offered further details about its joint venture partner, @Family Broadband Networks, which is an extension of the services currently being delivered by @Family Broadband Networks - Shanghai (www.shanghaifamily.net), the first commercial broadband ISP in the world offering 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps internet access to consumers.
The Company explained that there are five types of networks offering broadband Internet accesses throughout the world today:
(1) DSL (Digital Subscriber Loop): Connection speeds for DSL typically
range from 384Kbps to 1.544Mbps downstream and 128Kbps upstream. In
addition, a DSL line allows for one line to carry both voice and data
signals, and for the data part of the line to be continuously
connected, so users can talk on the phone line at the same time that
they are surfing the Internet. Example: Broadband offered by SBC
Telecom.
(2) Satellite: Hughes DirecPC offers high-speed Internet access using
DirecPC broadband satellite technology. At up to 400 kilobits per
second downstream, DirecPC is broadband Internet connectivity.
Example: Broadband offered by DirecPC and America Online.
(3) Cable Modem: Cable modem broadband technology offers speeds far
greater than dial-up phone modems and ISDN. Its upstream data
transfer speed is limited to 128Kbps. Example: AT&T @Home.
(4) Wireless: Next generation wireless (3G) and LMDS (Local Multipoint
Distribution Services) solutions are point to multipoint broadband
wireless systems operating in the millimeter-wave spectrum bands that
can be used to cost-effectively deliver voice, data, Internet, and
multimedia services. Wireless broadband is undergoing pre-commercial
field trials today. Example: Alcatel LMDS.
(5) FTTB (Fiber To The Building): With government funding support,
Shanghai became the first city in the world to implement a fiber to
the building (FTTB) backbone network covering the Shanghai
metropolitan region during 1995-1998. The Shanghai Infoport has since
become well known in Asia and leads all other cities in the world in
building out a 100% fiber-based broadband infrastructure network.
In June of 2000 a high-level forum called ``City Informatization in the Asia-Pacific Region`` was held in Shanghai. Speaking at the forum, which was jointly organized by the United Nations, China`s Ministry of Information Industry, and Shanghai Municipal Government, Mr. Samuel Chang, the CEO of ChinaCityNet and @Family Broadband Networks said, ``The Fiber To The Building (FTTB) technology is proving to be very cost-effective in Shanghai, a centralized controlled environment with high density apartment buildings. We are excited to be the first company dedicated to the design and build-out of the Shanghai city-wide fiber Internet infrastructure and at being the first to offer guaranteed broadband access at data rates of 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps to consumers.``
Detailed information on Hartcourt can be obtained via the company`s Web site, www.hartcourt.com.

Der Witz war gut:

TRANSACTIONS CURRENTLY BEING NEGOTIATED
I Merger With A Listed Firm In Hong Kong Main Board.
2. Two Strategic Partnerships For Streamingasia.
3. Three Strategic Partnerships For Sinobull.
4. Acquisition Of A Major Financial Data Provider In China.
5. Acquisition Of A Major Broadband Network In China.
6. Marketing Agreements Multiple Leading Hi-Tech Solutions Companies In The US.
7. Two Joint Venture Agreements With Chinese Securities Firms.
8. Acquisition of a Small US Bank.
9. Joint Venture With Chinese Bank For Online Banking.
10. Acquisition Of An Online Payment System Provider
---------------------------------------------------------

@defcon4

@Borrink

Warum so viele ?
@Aston

IN FORM VON FACT`S,darzustellen.

Weihnachtsfrauen in`s Board gestellt habe.(Also spart euch die IP-

Moin,Moin,

Helene, good morning! It was nice to meet you and the others last night. I am already in the office. Your posts
about the meeting are very accurate. Would like to add a
few facts that the Doc presented.
1. HRCT has applied for advertising license so we can
keep all revenues realized through ads.
2. HRCT controls 80% of the financial dotcom news in
China.
3. HRCT is NOT a dotcom operation. All operations have
real assets & revenue.
4. The Doc had a letter confirming that we still have the
$ 35 million if needed.
5. Also, there is a private offer to purchase up to $20
million in HRCT stock, if needed.
6. Plans are to list the revenues of each affiliate on
the Q3 to show their current status.

Just a few more points:
7. COL has 2,000 employees, 105 offices ( licenses ) but
is not profitable because of the telephone charges so
Doc is in no hurray to close this deal. HOWEVER, he is
speaking with " The largest American ISP " who is very
interested in assisting HRCT with this operation.
8. Innostar is currently generating revenue.
9. Financial Telecom acquired 51% of paging service which
presently has 4,000 subscribers for the streaming stock

Helene, good morning! It was nice to meet you and the others last night. I am already in the office. Your posts
about the meeting are very accurate. Would like to add a
few facts that the Doc presented.
1. HRCT has applied for advertising license so we can
keep all revenues realized through ads.
2. HRCT controls 80% of the financial dotcom news in
China.
3. HRCT is NOT a dotcom operation. All operations have
real assets & revenue.
4. The Doc had a letter confirming that we still have the
$ 35 million if needed.

9. Financial Telecom acquired 51% of paging service which
presently has 4,000 subscribers for the streaming stock
quotes via pagers.
Hope that this helps.
Hi,

BeiGelbStarter:

>>Georgina<< in Terra Networks einsteigen??

Genau.
HRCT sollte man auf den Index setzen. HRCT sollte man wegen seiner Lügen endlich schließen.

Was hab ich gestern gepostet?

Hi all !!
Meine Bewertung !!
US-$.
US-$, dies ist aus meiner Sicht her sehr konservativ gerechnet.

Lob an genwolf,

He asked me to post this information for everyone one regarding the Letter of intent with the Thinkers Group.
The Letter is sitting on my desk from the Thinkers Group. It has been signed by the Thinkers Group and they released the press release yesterday, it was not released by HRCT.
I am considerind ways to increase revenue flow to HRCT with this deal. We have companies calling us daily wanting to look at potential deals and we must consider each offer.
Hrct has grown quickly in CHINA and many people have noticed our growth and what we have accomplished. We consider each offer and make the most we can for HRCT.
He thanked me for calling and said I could post this information if I liked!

Hi HRCT`ler,
bin gespannt was wir heute in Frankfurt erzählt bekommen.

"This is my final masterpiece“.
F: Gem-Listing erst in 1 Jahr, warum schon jetzt Split?

Hallo @ all.

Eure schlechtgelaunte sevim

Hartcourt, ThinkersGroup to Form Marketing Alliance
By Peter Lim
Published by OTCNN.com

ThinkersGroup.com has signed a letter of intent to establish an exclusive marketing agreement with Hartcourt Companies, Inc. (OTCBB: HRCT). Under the agreement, Hartcourt and its subsidiaries, StreamingAsia and Sinobull Financial Group, will receive exclusive rights to market ThinkersGroup.com`s web-to wireless products and solutions in Greater China, including Hong Kong.
ThinkersGroup.com, Inc. is a privately held corporation providing software solutions for the gathering and delivery of content for Internet businesses to wireless devices. ThinkersGroup will set up their ThinkMotion Chinese language web-to-wireless service to allow HartCourt to offer this service to their existing and prospective customers in Greater China.
ThinkersGroup has developed a product that can automatically convert a Web site into a means that can be accessed by any wireless devices," said Hartcourt CEO, Dr. Charlie Yang. "People on the move, for example, can access anything they want on any Web site from a hand-held phone."
Yang said he will look for the "best way for us to increase revenues" before committing to a definitive agreement with ThinkersGroup. "I believe that the selection of Hartcourt subsidiaries to be ThinkersGroup.com`s exclusive marketing partners in Greater China should be viewed as a validation of the business model we have been developing over the past 12 months," he said. "The revenue generating potential of these services is considerable given the anticipated growth of web-to-wireless applications in China and other parts of the developing world."
Yang told OTCNN that a combination of factors makes China a ripe market for wireless-to-web products. So many companies in China are engaged in the import-export business, much of which is conducted through e-commerce, he said. The main factor that makes China an attractive, though, he added, was the copious number of cellular phones in China. "Web sites and web access (in China) are still not that popular yet," Yang said. "But the wireless phone is so popular in China. There are 50 million wireless phone users. So people are more used to wireless than Web sites."
The Los Angeles-based company`s stock traded 401,900 shares, its highest volume in three months, for a 28.57 percent increase to close at $2.25 on Thursday when the pending agreement with ThinkersGroup was announced. The company reports 56.9 million shares outstanding for which 5.6 million are in float. On Oct. 24, the company split its stock 2 for 1. Over 10 years old, Hartcourt became a publicly traded company in 1994.
Hartcourt is a holding and development company that is building a network of Internet and telecommunication service companies in China, including Hong Kong, in partnership with Chinese entrepreneurs as well as Chinese government-owned entities. Hartcourt`s business goal over the next three years is to complete a series of IPOs or spin-offs focused on its four main divisions: StreamAsia, SinoBull Financial Group, the Broadband ISP and Internet Infrastructure Group and Hartcourt Capital Inc.

China Telecom and SinoBull Financial Group Debut New Wireless Stock Trading System at PT/EXPO COMM CHINA 2000
New Solution is First System Enabling Individual Users to Execute Wireless Stock Trading Over China Telecom`s CDPD Network
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hartcourt Companies Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HRCT; Frankfurt: HCT), www.hartcourt.com, today announced that its UAC Stock Exchange Online subsidiary and China Telecom-Beijing have jointly launched the new wireless stock trading system which they recently debuted at PT/EXPO COMM CHINA 2000, the largest telecommunications/information technology show in Asia. UAC is a branch of the SinoBull Financial Group.
The wireless stock trading system is based on China Telecom`s enhanced Cellular Digital Packet Data (CDPD) network, which is currently serving six major cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, and Changsha. The solution is the first system allowing individual end users to access the Internet and execute secure stock trades over a wireless device connected to China Telecom`s CDPD network. Demonstration of the secure wireless trading system received an enthusiastic response from attendees of PT/EXPO COMM CHINA 2000. With Internet security currently a top concern in China, direct routing of wireless transactions over the secure UAC162 intranet to brokerage offices was very reassuring.
Simon Zhang, President of UAC Stock Exchange Online said, ``We expect the wireless stock trading services offered through our partnership with China Telecom`s CDPD network to provide significant new revenue generating opportunities in China. SinoBull Financial Group is uniquely positioned to be a leading provider of wireless Internet financial solutions in this vast and emerging market.``
Charlie Q. Yang, CEO of Hartcourt, commented, ``China`s wireless markets are experiencing explosive growth, with mobile phone customers already numbering over 50 million users. China Telecom has been looking for opportunities to install overlay networks such as CDPD to more fully utilize existing cellular networks and offer value-added data services such as the wireless stock trading solution now available via the SinoBull e-Finance Platform.``

Meine Bitte an Genwolf:

08Nov2000 CHINA: Regulatory commission examining options for online trading.
By SECURITIES Enoch Yiu.
The securities watchdog in China will look into the possibility of introducing Internet trading.
Zhou Xiaochuan, chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), during a two-day visit to Hong Kong, yesterday discussed the latest developments in mainland capital markets at a seminar jointly organised by the Hong Kong Securities Institute and the Securities and Futures Commission.
He said the CSRC was working on 12 major issues - most intended to promote the development of capital markets.
One was a study into how to develop Internet trading in China.
Also, Mr Zhou said the commission would like to strengthen the monitoring role of the media and public opinion in the securities market.
Another important task was preparations for a venture board in Shenzhen - similar to Hong Kong`s Growth Enterprises Market - to enable newly set up high-technology firms to raise funds.
Another commission concern was how to further open up securities markets to international investors, Mr Zhou said, pointing out that enhancing the regulatory framework was also a key focus for the commission.
It would continue to promote and perfect relevant laws and regulations, he said.
It would also bring in regulations to improve market transparency and the standards of disclosure of China`s listed companies.
There were 1,048 listed companies at present, he said, contrasting this with the 10 companies which comprised China`s listings just 10 years ago.
The average daily turnover of the mainland`s two stock markets was 25 billion yuan (about HK$23.41 billion) this year - well up on last year`s average of 13 billion.
For example, in 1992, the turnover was only 266 million yuan a day, he said.
Mr Zhou said the CSRC had plans to:
Strengthen communications between it and government departments;
Bring in more measures to enhance investor protection and investor education;
Step up the regulatory framework and monitoring system for the stock exchanges; and
Promote the development of financial institutions.

@Kapi:
1. Bush ist kein Freund des Internets.

an Feli,

long and strong.....
