@burna
Ein Stop-Buy-Limit liegt normal über dem aktuellen Kurs.

SEOUL, South Korea and NEW YORK, June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Korea Thrunet Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: KOREA, news, msgs) ("Thrunet"), Korea`s largest cable modem broadband Internet-access services provider and a major provider of enterprise network services, today announced that it had signed an agreement for a KRW 150 billion asset-backed loan (ABL) arranged by Kookmin Bank, one of the leading banks in Korea. Kookmin Bank led the syndication of this transaction.
ABL generally refers to a loan backed by loan paper or accounts receivable originated by banks, credit card companies, or other providers of credit. In Thrunet`s case, the loan from the Kookmin Bank-led syndication group will be backed by future credit card receivables. The receivables reflect four years of broadband Internet access service fees that will be paid by Thrunet`s customers with credit cards issued by three designated credit card companies, i.e., Kookmin Card, Samsung Card and LG Capital.

Thrunet noted that after receiving this loan, together with the US$190 million investment by SB Thrunet Fund L.P. in January, the company`s funding needs for this year have been fulfilled. As a result, Thrunet anticipates that it will be fully able to execute the current business plan for this year.
Charles Rim, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, noted, "This transaction is very meaningful not only in terms of satisfying our funding needs for this year, but also for the fact that these financial institutions acknowledged the great potential and stability of our business model since the loan is backed by our future credit card receivables. We are now able to focus more on the development and implementation of our business strategy while efficiently coping with the constantly changing broadband Internet access market in Korea."
Founded in July 1996, Korea Thrunet Co., Ltd. is a major provider of broadband Internet access services and enterprise network services in Korea. The first to offer broadband Internet services in Korea, with 1,010,695 paying end-users at the end of May, 2001, Korea Thrunet currently passes over 8.3 million homes. Thrunet service features "always-on" Internet access at speeds up to 100 times faster than traditional dial-up Internet access, with compelling multimedia content such as on-demand movies and music videos, network games, Internet telephony, unified messaging services as well as multimedia bulletin board and chatting services. On the enterprise network side, Korea Thrunet services more than 310 customers, with major Korean telecommunications companies such as SK Telecom and Shinsegi Telecomm accounting for a substantial majority of enterprise network revenues.
This release may contain forward-looking statements that are subject to risks and uncertainties. Important factors which could cause actual result to differ materially from those in the forward-looking statements, include but are not limited to: the Company`s short operating history which makes it difficult to predict its future results of operations; the Company`s history of operating losses and expected future losses which could impede its ability to address the risks and difficulties encountered by companies in new and rapidly evolving markets; the Company`s future operating results could fluctuate which may cause volatility or a decline in the price of the Company`s stock; the possibility that the Company may not be able to price its services above the overall cost of bandwidth causing its financial results to suffer; and other factors detailed in the Company`s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

SEOUL, South Korea and NEW YORK, July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Korea Thrunet Co., Ltd.
(Nasdaq: KOREA) ("Thrunet"), Korea`s largest cable modem broadband Internet-access
services provider and a major provider of enterprise network services, today announced the
launch of its new additional value-added services, "Multi View" and "EC hosting", as well as its
first co-marketing promotion with KOREA.COM Communications Co., Ltd. ("Korea.com"),
which was recently established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thrunet on June 12, 2001.
"Multi View" is a service that provides real-time transmission of video images from personal
computer ("PC") to PC or PC to cellular phone. In addition, the service enables remote
accessibility to one`s own PC so the user can access and work on files stored on the designated
PC from remote locations. Users can conveniently and cost-effectively apply the service to a
variety of functions, including remote monitoring, personal Internet broadcasting and wide area
personal networking. Thrunet utilizes its existing network for fixed line connections, while a
mobile solution is supplied by its service partner, i2air Co., which is a provider of mobile imaging
and mobile video services. The service fees are structured on a fixed basic monthly fee plus an
additional per usage basis change.
Thrunet has also commenced operation of its "EC hosting service" together with its service
partner, GodoTech, whose main business is building homepages and on-line shopping malls. The
service is an integrated offering allowing users the capability to establish and manage an on-line
shopping mall. Thrunet is providing server hosting and network connections utilizing its existing
Internet Data Center facilities and network while GodoTech is providing the software packages
necessary for building and operating e-commerce businesses. Users are able to establish on-line
shopping mall capability at an affordable cost of around US$ 100, while monthly maintenance
fees range from US$ 30 to 80, depending on the number of products to be offered in the
shopping mall.
In addition, Thrunet and Korea.com initiated a co-marketing promotion in July for the first time
since the recent establishment of Korea.com. As part of the promotion, subscribers joining
Thrunet`s new MultiPlus access service during the month of July will enjoy KRW 30,000 (US
$23.00 at the foreign exchange rate of KRW 1,300/US$) value of Korea.com content usage
free of charge.
"We are currently developing various value-added services beyond basic broadband Internet
access service in order to provide additional options for our customers, as well as to diversify
our revenue sources by maximizing utilization of our existing infrastructure. Meanwhile, we are
utilizing Korea.com`s rich content as a cost-efficient marketing tool, whereby Thrunet and
Korea.com can increase service value inexpensively, rather than by deploying expensive
promotions " stated Charles Rim, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Thrunet.
Founded in July 1996, Korea Thrunet Co., Ltd. is a major provider of broadband Internet

customers, with major Korean telecommunications companies such as SK Telecom and Shinsegi
Telecomm accounting for a substantial majority of enterprise network revenues.
