Equus Total Return, Inc. announces increase in Net Assets for Third Quarter

HOUSTON, TX – November 14, 2006 – Equus Total Return, Inc. (NYSE: EQS) (“Equus” or the “Fund”) reports net assets as of September 30, 2006, of $92.9 million, equivalent to $11.47 per share. This represents a 10% increase from the second quarter of 2006 and an increase of approximately 14% since the end of 2005 and after the effect of the $2.50 per share dividend declared on February 2, 2006.

Der einzige der sachlich schreibt ist DOC Bayern. Hier zunächst mal ein Dickes Lob an DOC Bayern, der trotz der Beschimpfungen von Euch immer sachlich geblieben war. Und bisher hatte er recht.

Von Leuten wie jadu & Co kam kaum was sachliches.

Doch jetzt zu meiner Meinung

1. Der Deal wird die Tage erfolgreich über die Bühne gehen
2. Es wird heute jedoch keine Mitteilung geben
3. Es werden weitere leidgeprüfte Ifex-Aktionäre die Reißleine ziehen,
weil sie Angst haben und nicht mehr an den Wert glauben, dies kann mit wenigen Umsätzen zu enormen Ausschlägen führen. Für Investoren eine exzellente Einstiegschance.

Fazit: MCC Global NV wird eine Mega-Perle (meine Meinung), doch es müssen zuerst noch einige Angsthasen herausgeschütelt werden
Bei Ifex ist es wie in den weltweiten Aktienmärkten im März 2003.
Alle wisse, daß es billig ist doch keiner traut sich. Wo die Märkte jetzt stehen wissen wir.
Also haltet durch, greift zu und geht bitte etwas sachlicher miteinander um. Udn wenn Ihr wahre Größe habt, entschuldigt Euch bei DOC Bayern.
Wie Ihr seht bin ich auch nicht siener Meinung, doch so eine dumme Anmache hat er nicht verdient.

Kaufen wenn die Kanonen donnern, Ihr werdet es ncht bereuen!!!

Ifex Completes Fundraise for Acquisition of MCC

Amsterdam, 19 December 2006 IFEX Innovation Finance & Equity Exchange NV (“IFEX” or the “Company”) (ticker: IFQ1) announced today that it has received binding subscriptions for €10 million of its debt and equity securities (the “Placement”) from various institutional and individual purchasers. The Placement is one of two principal conditions to complete the acquisition (“Acquisition”) of Moore, Clayton & Co., Inc. (“MCC”). The second condition is the listing of the shares issued by IFEX in connection with the Acquisition on the Geregelter Markt of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. To this end, the Company has submitted a revised prospectus to the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets and is seeking to publish the prospectus within the week following the date of this announcement . Following completion of the Acquisition, IFEX will change its name to “MCC Global NV.”

The Placement consisted of subscriptions to acquire new ordinary shares of IFEX as well as purchases of convertible unsecured promissory notes of the Company. Participants in the Placement include various institutional and individual investors, including Groupe Financière Centuria SAS, a Paris-based asset management firm (“Centuria”) which is 34% owned by the Dexia Group, one of the twenty largest financial institutions in the Euro zone. Centuria have subscribed for €2 million of the Placement and also have the option to invest an additional €18 million in new IFEX shares by 31 January 2007.

Commenting on the Placement, Anthony Moore, Chairman of the Company’s Supervisory Board, stated: “Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in our history, as IFEX moves to be incorporated within, and assume all the strength and diversity of, the MCC team and its client projects worldwide. Shareholders of IFEX now stand to benefit from ownership in a truly global private equity merchant bank that touches multiple markets and industries”

The company only takes stakes in small companies, MCC picks up business ideas and then develops them further. In 2004, the venture capital company founded the media company, Mediazest with a starting capital of GBP 100,000. Since then, Mediazest has been listed on the London stock exchange with a market value of around GBP 2.4 million. “Each year, we aim to do around four to five new listings”, Moore explains.

For the half year ended 30 June 2006, MCC had operating income of €2,767,889 or €0.007 per share (adjusted for purposes of the acquisition by IFEX), compared with operating income of €3,334,198 or €0.011 per share for the same period in 2005. The difference in operating income from 2005 to 2006 was largely due to the public listing of Tersus Energy PLC in 2005 in which MCC holds an 18% equity interest, compared with a cash dividend on MCC’s investment holdings of $4,400,000 in March 2006 and the public listing in 2006 of Nexiasoft, Inc., a U.S. based software developer in which MCC holds approximately 20% of the outstanding shares. . .

Vom erfolgreichen Ausgang des Mergers kann man jetzt wohl ausgehen.

Positiv: MCC hat nicht nur Wert durch seine Beteiligungen wie andere Beteiligungsunternehmen, bei denen nur die Assets den Wert darstellen. MCC erhält Erträge aus seinen Beteiligungen und verdient richtig Geld mit Beraterdienstleistungen. Deshalb ist hier auch eine KGV-Betrachtung angemessen.

We were approached and asked to
take a look at a Dutch company called
IFEX Group NV,” Moore says. “It was
doing something similar to MCC,
although much smaller, and there was
certainly scope to improve things for
its shareholders.

“IFEX is quite small, but one of its
more attractive assets, if you will, is
ownership in Fundus (Holdings) plc –
an Ofex-listed real estate company run
by Chris Phillips whose ex-Colliers,”
Moore said. “We have our own real
estate business – MCC Real Estate – and
there are significant synergies between
the two businesses. We know and like
Chris Phillips very much and we want
to support his business going forward.”
There’s also a joint venture – CICOM
– between IFEX and Sophia Antipolis,
known as the Silicon Valley of Europe
– a big incubator near Nice. “We’ve got
an office there and IFEX has got an
office there, so we’ll put one and one
together and certainly make more than
three out of it,” Moore said.

The investments in question are LTV,
an Hispanic TV company, MobiClear
and Bahamas Film Studio. The latter
has the largest indoor water tank in the
world – where Pirates of the Caribbean
was filmed and boasts 3,500 acres of
developable land.
“They are risky investments, they’re
pink sheets,” Moore proclaims. “Now,
we know quite a lot about the pink sheet
market, we have our own specialists in
that area and have had considerable
success with OTCBB listings.
“In the First Berlin research note that
was sent out on the IFEX deal they
make mention of the fact that we have
probably more experience and more
expertise in the Bulletin Board market
than IFEX. So I would hope that we’ve
got a better chance of extracting value
from those investments for our
shareholders.”
